WWE Elimination Chamber for the WWE Title: Sheamus vs. John Cena vs. Ted DiBiase vs. Randy Orton vs. Triple H vs. Kofi Kingston

The Chamber lowers over the ring as Justin Roberts goes over the rules for this match. Out first comes John Cena to a big pop from the St. Louis crowd.

Out next is Ted DiBiase, who gets boo’d. Randy Orton is out next and he gets a massive pop from his hometown crowd. Ted, Cena and Orton all enter their separate pods and are locked away. Out next is Triple H to a pretty big pop also. Triple H enters his pod as Kofi Kingston makes his way out. Out last is the WWE Champion Sheamus, who taunts those in the pods. It will be Sheamus and Kofi starting things out.

Sheamus goes for the big kick right off the bat, but Kofi moves and comes back with a flurry of offense of his own. Kofi hits a crossbody for a near fall, and a beautiful dropkick for another near fall. Kofi works over Sheamus with a series of fairly stiff kicks, but it’s still not enough to keep the Champion down. Sheamus comes back with a clubbing blow across Kofi’s back and a knee to the head. Sheamus hits a European uppercut, but Kofi is quick to fight back. Kofi kicks Sheamus square in the chest, but he immediately falls victim to a back elbow and a big shoulder block.

Sheamus tries to hip toss Kofi over the ropes, but Kofi lands on his feet, delivers and enzugiri, and executes a springboard crossbody that’s good for a two count. Sheamus reverses a whip into the corner, but he walks right into a big kick from Kofi. Sheamus takes Kofi down to the mat and pounds away on him, he tries for a quick pin, but he can’t hold Kingston down for three. Sheamus tries to choke Kingston and rub his face into the mat. Kofi rolls to the outside and Sheamus follows. Kofi is able to put up a bit of a fight, but Sheamus backs him up into one of the pods and put him down. Sheamus hits a uranage backbreaker, but it’s still not good enough for three.

The timer counts down, and the first entrant into the match is Triple H. Hunter has a big smile on his face. He walks out of the pod and stares Sheamus down.

Sheamus and Triple H come toe to toe staring each other down. Sheamus goes for a punch, but Hunter blocks and unloads with a couple of his own. Sheamus goes low with a knee, but it’s not good enough to keep down Hunter, who comes back with a high knee, and a knee drop. Hunter hits a clothesline in the corner, and pounds on Sheamus for a bit, before stomping for a little bit. Hunter hits a short arm clothesline, but it’s only good for a near fall. Hunter throws Sheamus over the top rope out to the steel grate. Hunter tries to throw Sheamus into the Chamber, but Sheamus blocks, Sheamus tries but Hunter blocks and he clotheslines Sheamus over the top rope.

Back in the ring, Sheamus goes for a razor’s edge out of nowhere, but Hunter reverses into a DDT. Kofi is back in and he’s going to work on both men, chopping each before hitting a dropkick on Sheamus, and whipping Hunter into Sheamus in the corner. Kofi launches himself up to hit nine punches on Sheamus in the corner before connecting with a leaping lariat. Kofi hits a slingshot boom drop over the top rope to the outside on Hunter. Sheamus takes Kofi out, out of nowhere, and it’s good for a near fall. The clock ticks down again, and the next entrant is Randy Orton.

Orton goes right to work on everyone, then focuses his attention on Sheamus, stomping away. Orton hits a knee drop on Sheamus, and he tries for a cover but he only gets a two count. Orton tosses Sheamus over the top rope and he hits a quick kick to Hunter’s ribs. Orton goes to the outside, where he slams Sheamus against the Chamber wall three times in a row. Hunter comes out and he too goes into the Chamber three times at the hands of Orton. Orton chokes Sheamus with his boot for a bit, before going to work on Hunter with a couple of right hands. Kingston comes out of nowhere with a huge slingshot crossbody. Kingston tries for another springboard crossbody back in the ring on Orton, but Orton counters with a dropkick.

Hunter is now back in this with right hands, and a face buster to Orton, but Orton comes back with a big powerslam. Orton looks to be setting up for the RKO on Hunter. Orton goes for it, but Hunter pushes him into Kofi. Kofi tries for TIP, but Orton ducks. Orton tries for the RKO on Kofi, but Kofi pushes him into an almost pedigree. Orton backdrops Hunter over the top rope to counter, the backdrops Kofi over the top rope. On the outside, Orton goes after Sheamus, but he ends up being backed up into the ring post. The clock counts down again and the next entrant is Ted Dibiase.

Dibiase goes right to work on Sheamus, Kingston, then Triple H, hitting Hunter with a couple of fist drops. Dibiase goes over to Orton in the corner and he offers his hand after a bit of a staredown. It looks like Legacy may be working together. Orton and Dibiase go right to work on Hunter, stomping away on him in the corner. They the turn their attention to Sheamus, pounding away, and hitting a series of knees, before Orton throws him shoulder first into the ring post. Dibiase chokes Kingston against the bottom rope. Orton picks up Kofi and he tries to shove Kingston’s head through the Chamber wall, eventually succeeding and wrenching at his neck, before Dibiase locks in a Boston crab while Orton kicks away.

Legacy stare Cena down outside of his pod, and decide to wait out the last 10 seconds outside of his door. Cena fights his way out with no problem, taking down Dibiase and tossing Orton in the ring before coming alive with a series of flying shoulder blocks and a belly to back suplex. Cena connects with the five knuckle shuffle on Orton, and a throwback and top rope rocker dropper to Dibiase. Cena goes for the AA on Dibiase, using him as a battering ram on Orton. Dibiase grabs the ropes, so Cena AA’s him over the ropes. Orton lightly tosses Cena to the outside, and he follows. Orton tries to send Cena into the Chamber wall, but Cena reverses. Back in the ring, Cena locks in the STF on Dibiase, but Orton is able to break it up and hit his nasty backbreaker.

Cody Rhodes runs down to ringside and tosses a pipe into the Chamber. Orton goes for the RKO on Cena, but Cena reverses into the AA. Dibiase uses the pipe and accidentally hits Orton, then hits Cena. Dibiase looks at both men, and pins Orton, getting the three count.

Orton has been eliminated.

Orton and Dibiase share a staredown while Orton makes his way to the back. Sheamus goes to work on Kofi on the outside, but when he tries to come back in the ring with what looks to be a spinebuster, Kingston reverses, and hits the TIP on Dibiase. Kofi goes for the pin and gets the three.

Dibiase is eliminated.

Right away, Sheamus hits his big boot, follows it up with the razor’s edge, pins Kofi, and gets the three count.

Kingston is eliminated.

Sheamus turns his attention to Cena, working him over with strikes. Cena gets Sheamus in AA position out of nowhere, but Sheamus fights out. Sheamus hangs Cena up in the tree of woe, before charging into the corner with a low knee, and following up with a series of knees. Sheamus sets Cena up on the rope rope, and he tries for a rope assisted Razor’s edge, but Hunter is there with a low blow to prevent it. Hunter hits the pedigree, covers Sheamus, and gets the three count.

The Champion Sheamus has been eliminated.

It’s down to Cena and Hunter and both men are down on the mat. Cena is the first to get up, and he goes right to work with the STF. Hunter furiously tries to reach the ropes, having a lot of trouble. Hunter looks to be fading. Hunter is forced to tap out, and we have a new Champion.

Winner and New WWE Champion: John Cena

- After the match, Vince McMahon’s music hits as soon as the belt is put in Cena’s hands. He congratulates Cena and says he’s going to WrestleMania, just as long as he can defend the championship right now against… Batista!

WWE Title Match: Batista vs. John Cena

Batista heads down to the ring and Cena isn’t even up on his feet yet. They go back and forth a bit until Batista hits the spear and the Batista Bomb for the pinfall and the win.

Winner and New WWE Champion: Batista

- After the match, Batista takes the WWE Title and heads up the ramp as the crowd boo’s him. Cena is in pain, still trying to get to his feet as we go to replays.

- Cena gets a pop as he heads up the ramp. Cole and Lawler lead us into a video package of Bret Hart, showing the accident from RAW this past week.

WWE Intercontinental Title Match: Drew McIntyre vs. Kane

Out first comes the WWE Intercontinental Champion Drew McIntyre with his new theme song. The pyro explodes next as the challenger, Kane, makes his way out to a nice pop.

Kane charges McIntyre right at the bell, but Drew ducks and throws a couple of punches and kicks of his own. Kane hits a chop to the throat, and he takes McIntyre to the corner, working him over with a couple of strikes before hitting a low dropkick. Kane locks in a side headlock and applies pressure to McIntyre. McIntyre fights out, but he’s put right down with a shoulder block. Kane goes right back to work with the headlock.

McIntyre fights out again, but this time walks into a swinging neckbreaker that’s good for a two count. Kane charges McIntyre in the corner, but McIntyre avoids it and goes to work on Kane with lefts and rights. McIntyre’s offense is short lived though, as Kane puts him right back down. McIntyre tries to come back again, this time kicking at Kane’s knee, which seems to work for a bit. McIntyre then snaps Kane’s arm across the top rope and he goes to work in the corner with a series of right hands. Drew walks right into a right hand from Kane, but he kicks the knee and goes right back to work on the arm.

McIntyre locks in a top wrist lock, but Kane is able to fight out of it, and launch McIntyre over the top rope to break the hold. Back in the ring, Kane goes for a back body drop, but it allows McIntyre to go right back to work with a kick to the shoulder. McIntyre locks in a modified rear chin lock, grabbing the arm for extra leverage. Kane is able to fight out of it with a series of right hands, and he sends McIntyre into the ropes only to recieve a big boot. McIntyre tries for the underhook DDT, but Kane back body drops him out of it, and hits a big boot of his own, before hitting a running clothesline in the corner. McIntyre is able to hit a back elbow, but when he goes for a high risk move, he jumps into a right hand from Kane. Kane follows up with a big back body drop.

Kane goes to the top rope and he connects with the leaping clothesline. Kane tries for the chokeslam, but McIntyre is able to escape out to the ring apron. Kane sends McIntyre into the ring apron, follows out and hits a big boot that sends him to the floor. Kane follows down to the floor, where he sends McIntyre’s head into the ring steps before sending him back in the ring. Kane stomps away at McIntyre, but Drew bails and starts walking up the ramp. Kane follows, but he walks into a right hand. McIntyre tries to send Kane into the barricade, but Kane reverses it, and brings McIntyre back into the ring. Kane tries for the chokeslam again, but McIntyre hits a thumb to Kane’s eye, and connects with the underhook DDT. McIntyre covers Kane, and this one is over.

Winner: Drew McIntyre

- Backstage we see Gail Kim walking when Maryse walks up. Maryse says something in French, then tells her in English that means she’s looking for a good match tonight and puts over her and Gail compared to the SmackDown Divas. Gail says something in French and tells Maryse she knows that Maryse has been trash talking her this whole time in French. Gail says she’s going to beat Maryse tonight and walks off.

Michelle McCool & Layla vs. Maryse & Gail Kim

Out first for the WWE Divas Title match is Maryse, followed by Gail Kim. They get ready to go but Vickie Guerrero appears on the stage to huge heat. She says the RAW Divas have been talking trash about the SmackDown Divas and she defends the SmackDown Divas. She says she’s officially changing this match to a tag team match. Out comes their opponents, Michelle McCool and Layla.

Kim and Layla start things off with Kim hitting a couple of quick arm drags and locking in an arm bar. Kim hits a couple of forearms, but Layla blocks a hip toss and turns it into a pinning predicament. Layla charges Kim in the corner, but Kim is able to avoid it and score a near fall of her own. Maryse goes after Layla, and the referee is distracted, allowing McCool to knock Kim off the apron with a big boot. Layla makes the tag, and her and McCool connect with a double baseball slide. Back in the ring, McCool goes for the pin, and when she can’t get it, she slams Kim’s head against the mat and locks in a rear chin lock.

McCool hits a series of knees to Kim’s back, but when she tries for a back body drop, Kim kicks her in the chest and hits a bulldog. Kim starts crawling to her corner, but she pie-faces Kim into McCool who hits a clothesline. McCool hits the Faithbreaker, and rolls it over into the pin.

Winners: Layla and Michelle McCool

- After the match, Maryse avoids McCool and Layla leaving to slide in the ring. She trash talks Gail and hits her with the French Kiss. Maryse poses to heat from the crowd before making her way to the back.

- We go to the ring where William Regal is introduced. Cole says Regal has been trying to get on RAW now that ECW is gone. Regal talks about WWE NXT and being a pro on the show. He says he has the most experience out of anyone on NXT. Regal demands that he be treated with respect and says everyone on the show can learn something from him. Regal says the fans can learn something from him also. The music hits and out comes Edge to interrupt.

Edge hits the ring and Regal asks him what he wants. Edge says Regal was boring everyone to death. Edge talks about being able to pick his opponent for WrestleMania and says he will announce that decision on RAW tomorrow night. Edge says he’s here to do something different tonight and out of nowhere, he spears Regal and lays him out. Edge’s music hits again and he heads to the back.

WWE United States Title Match: The Miz vs. MVP

Out first for the next match is one-half of the Unified Tag Team Champions and WWE United States Champion The Miz. His partner Big Show is with him. Out next is the challenger, MVP. Mark Henry comes out with MVP and they get a decent pop.

Miz and MVP stare each other down at the bell, with Miz talking smack. MVP responds with a slap to the face and he goes right to work, beating down Miz, sending him into the corner, stomping away at him. MVP hits a couple of knees to Miz’s stomach, slams him down and hits a knee drop. MVP connects with an overhead belly to belly suplex and Miz rolls to the outside. MVP follows, and he slams Miz’s head into the barricade before sending him back into the ring. Miz tries for a quick baseball slide, but MVP avoids it and connects with a clothesline. Back in the ring, Miz hits a back elbow and a kick to the side of the head, before raking at MVP’s face with his boot.

MVP is able to fight back, and he locks in an interesting submission, focusing on Miz’s arms, shoulders and neck. Miz is able to fight out of it as Big Show cheers along. Miz sends MVP into the corner and MVP tries for some kind of headscissors, but Miz comes back with a pretty cool looking gut buster. Miz chokes MVP against the middle rope, before running and jumping into MVP, hanging him up against the rope. Miz tries for the cover, but he can only get two. Miz locks in a rear chin lock, but MVP is able to fight out of it, only to be taken right back down to the mat.

MVP comes up with a small package out of nowhere, but Miz kicks out at two and comes back with a running knee. MVP comes up with another quick pin, but Miz kicks out at two and again goes right back to work, stomping, then punching MVP. Miz kicks at MVP’s head, and MVP responds with a huge right hand out of nowhere. MVP buries his shoulder in Miz’s midsection in the corner, but Miz is able to send MVP into the corner and hit a big clothesline that’s good for a two count.

Miz locks in what looks to be a single arm camel clutch, but MVP fights out of it and hits an electric chair drop, bridging into a cover that’s good for two. Miz and MVP trade blows, with Miz kicking at MVP’s knee and hitting a low DDT that’s good for a two count.

Miz locks in the submission again, but MVP stands up and backs Miz into the corner. MVP charges Miz in the corner, but Miz gets a boot up, then kicks MVP in the ribs. Miz chokes MVP against the bottom rope, before hitting a kick to the side of the face. Show jaws at MVP while he stands up. Miz hits his running dropkick in the corner, before climbing to the top rope. MVP is able to run into the ropes, throwing Miz off balance and crotching him on the top turnbuckle. MVP tries for a superplex, but Miz is able to fight it off, sending MVP down with a headbutt. Miz sets himself again, and MVP charges up, launching Miz with a super belly.

Miz looks to have busted his head open. MVP is a house of fire as he fights off Miz. MVP connects with the ballin elbow, and he goes for the cover, but Miz gets his foot on the rope. Big show pulls Miz to the outside, and MVP responds by hitting a baseball slide into Big Show’s back. Show and Henry get into it on the outside, and Henry ends up charging through one of the ringside barricades. MVP is abel to hit a series of forearms on Miz, but he misses the Yakuza kick. Miz tries to take advantage, distracting the ref. Big Show hits the knockout punch on MVP. Miz covers MVP and this one is over.

Winner: The Miz

- We go to replays from earlier of how Batista won the WWE Title as the Chamber is lowered back down over the ring.

Elimination Chamber for the World Heavyweight Title: Undertaker vs. Rey Mysterio vs. John Morrison vs. R-Truth vs. CM Punk vs. Chris Jericho

Out first for tonight’s main event is Rey Mysterio to a nice pop from the crowd. Out next is John Morrison followed by Chris Jericho and then the World Heavyweight Champion Undertaker, who gets a massive pop. Taker does things different tonight as he runs out to the ring and makes it a quick entrance. All four of them are locked inside their pods. It looks like it will be R-Truth and CM Punk starting the match off. Out next is CM Punk with Serena and Luke Gallows by his side. CM Punk takes the mic before the match and says four extremely weak individuals are locked inside their pods like they’re locked inside their addictions. Punk says tomorrow morning when they are nursing their injuries, they can realize that Punk saved them and set them free. Punk is interrupted by R-Truth’s music and out he comes.

Truth put Punk in a headlock at the bell, then hit a shoulderblock. Punk came back with a leg lariat, then hit a back suplex for a one count. Punk hit some punches, but Truth ducked under a clothesline and hit a side kick for two. Truth clotheslined Punk over the top rope to the platform. They fought on the outside, and Truth gave Punk a catapult into the chain wall. Truth tossed Punk into the wall of a pod, then dove off the top rope into a senton on a standing Punk on the platform. Truth whipped Punk into the cage wall twice, then bounced him off the ropes and into the chains a third time. Back in the ring, Truth hit a faceplant, but missed an axkick. Punk went for GTS, but Truth got out of it. Truth missed a spinning forearm, and Punk hit him with a hard kick to the head. Punk hit Truth with the GTS for the pin.

R-Truth is eliminated.

Punk grubs the mick. He goes to Taker and he says that he better pray to come out last, because he’s going to make him tap out, like he did before. Punk says he’ll prove that Morrison’s rockstar lifestyle is a joke. Punk says tonight he’ll prove that straight edge means he’s better than you, and no one can stop him. The clock counts down, and Mysterio is the next man in the match. Mysterio comes right in with a springboard senton and a slingshot crossbody that’s good for two. Mysterio hits a huge kick to the side of the head for another two count.

Mysterio hits the drop toe hold and sets up Punk for the 619, but Punk coes back with a powerslam out of nowhere. Punk tries for the G2S again, but Mysterio counters with a hurricarana into a pin, that’s good for two. Mysterio kicks at Punk’s leg and Punk rolls to the outside. Mysterio follows and he tries for a hurricarana, but Punk counters, holding Mysterio and slamming him into the cage side to side.

Back in the ring, Punk tries for the cover, but he can only get two. Punk hits the running knee in the corner, and he taunts Jericho before sending Mysterio headfirst into the ring post, and Chamber pod. Punk tries for another cover, but Mysterio kicks out at two. Punk sets Mysterio on the top rope, and he goes for the superplex, but Mysterio fights out, sending Punk to the mat. Mysterio looks up to the pod, and he goes for it, but Punk grabs hit, and gets him into G2S position. Mysterio fights out of it, and both men are on the top turnbuckle. Mysterio drops to the mat and Punk ends up crotching himself. Mysterio goes up top and connects with a hurricarana to the outside, before sending Punk back in, and hitting a springboard splash. Mysterio pins Punk, and gets the three.

Punk has been eliminated.

The clock counts down, and the next man in the match is Jericho.

Jericho goes right to work, squaring off with Mysterio and taking advantage of being the fresh man. Jericho tries for the lionsault, but Mysterio rolled out of the way, hits the drop toe hold and connects with the 619. Jericho rolls to the outside and Mysterio tries for a springboard senton but Jericho ducks. Mysterio grabs on and holds onto the cage, but Jericho grabs him by the foot and Mysterio crashes to the Chamber floor. Jericho sends Mysterio into the Chamber wall before sending him back into the ring, hitting a slingshot splash, and getting a near fall.

Jericho chokes Mysterio against the second rope, standing on his back. Mysterio tries to get back into with a couple of quick kicks, but Jericho responds with a big forearm, and locks in a modified rear chin lock. Mysterio is able to fight up to his feet, and he ducks a clothesline and hits an asai moonsault, that’s good for a two. Mysterio tries for a hurricarana, but instead turns it into a guillotine choke. Jericho is able to slam him back into the corner to break the hold, and Jericho locks in the Walls of Jericho in the middle of the ring.

John Morrison entered the match.

Morrison’s entry causes Jericho to break the hold, and he and Jericho square off. Morrison turns his attention to Mysterio, throwing Kericho to the outside first. Mysterio tries to fight back, but Morrison connects with a big kick to the face. Morrison goes back to Jericho, he tries for a low knee, but Jericho turns it into a pin for a two count. Jericho slaps Morrison’s face, and he charges him in the corner, but he eats a boot. Morrison goes up top, but Mysterio pushes him back off into one of the pods, breaking some of the glass. Jericho back body drops Mysterio to the outside.

Jericho continues to work on Mysterio, and Morrison is back out of nowhere attacking both men. Back in the ring, a standing shooting star press from Morrison to Mysterio is still not enough to put the little man away. Mysterio hurricarana’s Morrison into the ropes and tries for a 619, but Jericho catches him in a spinning backbreaker that’s good for a near fall. Jericho eats a boot from Mysterio in the corner, and the a boot to the face from Morrison. Mysterio hits a headscissors to send Morrison face first into the turnbuckle. Mysterio puts Morrison on the top rope and tries for a hurricarana, but Morrison hangs on, hits starship pain, and gets the three count.

Mysterio has been eliminated.

Morrison goes to work on Jericho, but it’s short lived, as Morrison loses his focus, and ends up finding himself in the Walls of Jericho. The clock counts down, and Jericho is in the same position. Undertaker is going crazy as the clock counts down. The pod opens, and Taker goes straight to work on Jericho with some big blows, a splash in the corner, and a slam into the top turnbuckle. Taker sends Morrison over the top rope and connects with a leg drop on Jericho that’s good for two. Taker signals for the chokeslam and he gets Jericho and Morrison in position, but both men fight it off and hit a double dropkick. Morrison and Jericho clothesline Taker over the top rope before turning their attention to each other.

Jericho is able to back body drop Morrison over the top rope to the outside to take him out for a bit. Jericho tries to work on Taker, slapping him on the back of the head, but it just fires up Taker. Jericho tries to go into one of the pods, but he just ends up trapped and being beat down by Taker in the pod. Back in the ring, Taker hits a big splash on Morrison, and another. Taker picks up Morrison, and drops him down on the top turnbuckle, but Morrison responds right back with a springboard kick. Morrison looks to have hurt his ankle. Morrison goes for starship pain, but Taker gets his knees up.

Undertaker sits up, and Jericho is stopped right in his tracks, retreating into back into the pod. Taker sends Morrison over the top rope, and follows to the outside, working over Morrison with big right hands and kicks. Taker slams Morrison into the pod that Jericho is in, destroying the door. The crowd chants for one more, but instead, Taker gets Morrison in Last Ride position. Jericho spears Taker, and Morrison grabs on to the cage. Taker charges Jericho, but he ends up running through one of the pods. Morrison leaps off of the cage on top of Jericho and everyone is down. Morrison hits a shining wizard in the ring, but it’s only good for two.

From the outside, Taker grabs Morrison by the throat, and brings him over the top, to the outside with a chokeslam. Back in the ring, Taker pins Morrison, and gets the three count.

Morrison has been eliminated.

Taker pulls down the straps, and Jericho looks pretty intimidated.

Taker tells Jericho to bring it on, and Jericho is slow to make it back into the ring. Taker goes right to work, throwing big right hands at Jericho, trapping him in the corner, and throwing some more. Taker hits a knee in the corner, but when he goes for another, Jericho moves and Taker ends up hung up on the top rope. Jericho goes up and tries for the superplex, connecting.

Jericho goes for the pin, but Taker is able to kick out at two. Jericho hits a knee drop, and goes to work throwing right hands into the face of Undertaker. Jericho kicks at Taker’s head, but another attempt and Taker catches him by the throat. Taker goes for the chokeslam, but Jericho rolls through, trying for the Walls, Undertaker is almost able to counter into Hell’s gate, but Jericho ultimately locks in the Walls of Jericho. Taker is able to roll over to his back and lock in Hell’s gate, but he can’t get it on quite right and Jericho is able to roll out of the ring.

Taker sits right back up, and he picks Jericho up, into tombstone position. Jericho fights out of it and is able to connect with the codebreaker. Jericho crawls over and is able to pin Taker, but Taker kicks out at two. Jericho picks Taker up and sends him into the corner, trying to work him over with shoulders and right hands. Taker counters, grabbing Jericho, and connecting with the Last Ride, and both men are down.

Taker is first to his feet, and he signals that the end is near. HBK comes up out of a hidden panel in the Chamber floor, and he connects with Sweet Chin Music on the Undertaker. Jericho pins The Undertaker, and he gets the three count.

- After the match, Jericho heads to the back while Shawn Michaels stands over The Undertaker and just stares at him as the show goes off the air.

ECW Title Match: Ezekiel Jackson vs. Christian
The ECW Champion Christian makes his way out to the ring first to a nice pop. Out next is the challenger, Ezekiel Jackson with William Regal. Both men lock up and Christian is quickly shoved away by Jackson. Christian ducks another lock up attempt, but Jackson is quick to regain the advantage with a belly to back slam. Christian is up and he slaps Jackson across the face. Jackson chases Christian to the outside, but back in the ring, Jackson is caught by surprise with a couple of quick fists, a dropkick, and a springboard plancha from Christian. Christian rolls Jakcson back into the ring, ducks a couple of clotheslines and hits another slap, but Jackson responds with a slam.

Jackson hits Christian with a couple of big blows to the back, and he sends Christian into the corner twice, but Christian comes out and even attempts the killswitch. Jackson fights it off and tries for a gorilla press but Christian fights out, knocks Jackson into the ropes, and stands on his back, choking him. Christian slaps Jackson a third time, but when he goes to the second rope, Jackson pulls his feet out from under him and sends him to the outside. Regal tries to get involved, but the ref sees it and ejects him from the ringside area.

Jackson slams Christian into the steel ring steps and rolls him back into the ring. Jackson goes for the pin but Christian kicks out at two. Jackson wrenches away at Christian’s neck. Jackson picks him up, from a seated position and choke slams him. Jackson hits a delayed vertical suplex, but again it’s only good for two. Jackson bends Christian around the ropes and clubs away at his chest before bringing him back into the ring and working over Christian’s back. Christian comes up with a springboard sunset flip out of nowhere, but Jackson plucks up Christian and plants him with a double hand choke slam. Jackson locks in a camel clutch but Christian fights out.

Christian slaps Jackson three times, but Jackson comes back with a clothesline to the back of the head, that’s good for a two count. Jackson locks in a weird modified full nelson, but Christian is able to get to his feet. Jackson sits Christian on the top rope and he goes for a superplex, but Christian fights out of it, and kicks Jackson in the face, following up with a flying shoulder block.

Christian side steps a charging Jackson, who connects with the turnbuckle. Christian connects with a missile dropkick and he tries for the killswitch, but Jackson fights out again. Christian hits a reverse DDT, and he goes to the top, trying for a splash, but Jackson moves. Jackson connects with a huge lariat, but Christian won’t stay down. Christian tries for the killswitch again, but Jackson counters into a backbreaker, but it’s still only good enough for two. Christian dodges a charging Jackson again, and hits a kick to the face. Christian hits a tornado DDT, but Jackson is still able to kick out.

Christian goes for the killswitch yet again, but Jackson counters out. Christian locks in a sleeper, but Jackson muscles him into powerslam position and slams him into the corner twice, but going for the third, Christian connects with the killswitch out of nowhere. Christian rolls over Jackson, and this one is over.

- We go backstage with Teddy Long and Tiffany. He congratulates her on the ECW Title match when Cryme Tyme walk in. They say only one of them is allowed in the Rumble match this year and ask for Long’s help. They want him to give them someone’s spot in the Rumble match. Teddy says he can’t. They say they talked someone into giving them their other spot and in comes The Great Khali. Khali doesn’t seem sure about this. Ranjin Singh comes in and says Khali says no dice, home slice. Teddy says Cryme Tyme look like fools with their “pants on the ground.” This leads to everyone singing the pants on the ground song. The Miz walks in and says 5 years now, nobody will remember what they’re doing but they will remember him winning his first Royal Rumble. Teddy announces that also tonight, The Miz will defend his US Title against MVP. Next.

- We go backstage with Randy Orton. Cody Rhodes walks up and says what Orton said last week, didn’t just go over his head. Cody tells Orton he’s there for him. Cody says he wishes he could say the same thing for Ted DiBiase. Cody says Ted hasn’t been the same since The Marine 2 came out. Cody says all Ted is talking about is winning the Rumble match and then going to WrestleMania to beat Orton for the WWE Title. This pisses Orton off. Cody walks off, leaving Orton in deep thought.

WWE United States Title Match: MVP vs. The Miz

Out next for this late addition is WWE’s United States Champion The Miz. His opponent, MVP, is out next to a nice pop. They enter the ring and we get ready to go.

Miz tries to hide behind the ref at the beginning of the match, but he quickly comes out with a couple of kicks. MVP is quick to come back though with a flying lariat that’s good for a near fall. MVP hits a suplex and floats over into a cover for a one. MVP sends MIz into the corner, but when he follows in he eats a boot. MVP retaliates with a back body drop. Miz tries to leave the ring, but MVP hits a belly to back suplex instead. Miz bails to the floor, but MVP follows him out, hits him, and body slams him into the barricade. MVP rolls Miz back into the ring, but he ends up being kicked out to the apron, and Miz knocks him off into the announce table.

Miz sends MVP back into the ring and he works over MVP with a couple of stomps and a leg drop. Miz backs MVP up into the corner and drives his shoulder into MVP’s midsection before just pounding him down. Miz hits his corner clothesline, and he goes to the top rope, where he hits a double ax handle that’s good for a near fall. Miz locks in a rear chin lock and he takes MVP down to the mat.

MVP eventually fights back up to his feet and out of the submission, and hits Miz with a couple of right hands before launching him in the air and down to the mat. MVP drives Miz’s face into his knee and he hits the ballin’ elbow. MVP tries for the playmaker, but Miz fights it off, only to walk into a Yakuza kick that’s good for a two count. Miz rolls out to the apron and when MVP follows, he gets hung up on the top rope. Miz tries to catch MVP off guard, but MVP retaliates with a pounce.

MVP goes for the Playmaker’s boot but Miz ducks, Miz goes for the SCF, but MVP fights out. MVP catches Miz with a series of roll ups, but Miz continually kicks out. Miz locks in a small package out of nowhere, and he gets the three count.

Winner: The Miz

- After the match, The Miz taunts MVP who is down. MVP comes out of nowhere with the Playmaker and drops Miz. MVP gets boo’d as he goes to the back.

- We go backstage with Big Show and Chris Jericho. Show says Jericho must be jealous over the chemistry he has with The Miz. Jericho puts down Miz and says Miz is using Show for his own personal agenda. Show says yea, kind of like Jericho did. Jericho says they were the greatest tag team ever. Show says if it comes down to them three tonight, he’s throwing both of them out of the Rumble. Show walks off. R-Truth walks up and says he will throw Jericho out if Show doesn’t. Jericho says Truth will have to go through Big Show first. Truth says Jericho is on his own tonight because it’s every man for himself. Jericho says he will main event WrestleMania and walks off.

- We see Randy Orton walking backstage when Ted DiBiase walks up. Ted says Cody has been talking lately about winning the Rumble match tonight and facing Sheamus at WrestleMania. Ted tells Orton he has his back tonight. Orton says he’s about to beat Sheamus for the WWE Title and doesn’t need anyone’s help.

WWE Championship – Randy Orton vs. Sheamus
Both men stare each other down at the outset of the match. Sheamus pumps himself up, to the crowds disproval, this crowd is solidly behind Orton. Orton locks in a headlock, but Sheamus is quick to fight out, but Orton connects with a beautiful dropkick. Orton and Sheamus stare each other down again. Another lock up and Sheamus backs Orton into the ropes, but Orton turns it around. Sheamus shoves Orton, but Orton comes back with a European uppercut, it’s not enough though as Sheamus comes back and works on Orton’s arm.

Orton goes to the outside and Sheamus follows, slamming Orton into the barricade and slamming Orton’s arm into the ring steps. Sheamus sends Orton back into the ring, and continues to work over Orton’s arm, wrenching away. Sheamus picks Orton up into powerslam position, but Orton works out of it and goes for a chop block. Orton immediately goes to work on Sheamus’ knee, stomping away at the leg.

Orton wrenches away at Sheamus’ leg and ankle, making Sheamus squirm. Sheamus tries to kick him off, but Randy just wrenches harder. Sheamus kicks again and this time it’s enough to stop Orton. Sheamus sends Orton shoulder first into the ring post, and then does it again.

Sheamus buries his shoulder in Orton’s midsection twice, but when he goes for a third, Orton gets his knee up. Orton kicks Sheamus in the knee, and goes right back to work, stomping at Sheamus’ wrist. Orton drags Sheamus’ legs to the apron, and slams them down, and then into the ring post. Orton clubs at Sheamus’ chest and Sheamus falls to the floor.

Orton brings Sheamus back into the ring, and he kicks at Sheamus’ midsection. Sheamus fights back though, and hits a single arm DDT out of nowhere that’s good for a near fall. Sheamus locks in an arm bar and digs his knee into Orton’s ear.

Orton fights out of the submission, getting to his feet and punching Sheamus’ kidney, but Sheamus switches it up, locking Orton’s wrist behind his head. Orton fights out, and he and Sheamus trade punches, with Orton getting yays, and Sheamus getting boos. Sheamus hits a uranage backbreaker on Orton, but it’s not enough for a three count.

Sheamus picks Orton up and he goes for his finisher, but Orton fights out, kicks Sheamus in the knee and sends him to the outside. Sheamus makes it to the apron at 7, but Orton quickly goes for, and hits his rope assisted DDT. Orton goes for the pin but Sheamus is able to grab the rope and force the ref to stop the count. Orton gets in position for the punt, but Sheamus rolls to the outside to prevent it. Orton gives chase, and he clubs Sheamus with a big European uppercut, but Sheamus sends him into the ring post twice. Sheamus rolls Orton back into the ring, but Cody Rhodes jumps the security rail out of nowhere and he hits Sheamus. Orton connects with the RKO and he goes for the pin, but the ref calls for the bell on account of DQ.

Winner by DQ: Sheamus

- After the match, Cody is apologizing to Orton as he steps into the ring. The crowd starts chanting RKO. Cody is so sorry, he says. Orton drops Cody with a big right hand. Orton starts slamming Cody’s head into the mat. Ted DiBiase rushes the ring and pulls Orton off Cody and tries calming him down. Ted tends to Cody but Orton turns him around and lays him out with a right hand too. Orton yells at them both in the corner and stomps on Cody. Sheamus gets up behind Orton and Legacy sees this. Orton turns around to a huge kick to the face from Sheamus and goes down. The WWE Champion exits the ring and heads to the back. Ted and Cody finally leave the ring also with Orton still laid out from Sheamus’ kick. We go to replays.

- We go to a video showing the events leading up to tonight’s match between Mickie James and Michelle McCool.

WWE Women’s Title Match: Mickie James vs. Michelle McCool

Out first for tonight’s next match is the WWE Women’s Champion Michelle McCool. The crowd boo’s Michelle as she takes the mic. She says the people came to see her tonight. Michelle says unfortunately Mickie is no where to be seen tonight because if she was anywhere close to the arena, you couldn’t miss her. McCool says she must be at the hot dog stand again. Michelle says Mickie must have forfeited the match. Music hits and out comes Layla dressed as a large Mickie James. As Layla gets to the ring, the real Mickie’s music hits and out she comes. She rushes Layla and lays her out at ringside. The bell rings and here we go.

Mickie comes in and hits her DDT finisher quickly for McCool to take the match and the belt in a squash.

Winner and New WWE Women’s Champion: Mickie James

- After the match, Mickie drops Layla on top of McCool. The other Divas, Kelly Kelly, Gail Kim, Maria, Melina, Eve and others come out with a big sheet cake. They hold McCool and Layla down while Mickie slams the cake in their faces. Mickie celebrates some more as Layla and McCool scream.

- We go to a video package showing events leading up to tonight’s World Heavyweight Title match between The Undertaker and Rey Mysterio.

World Heavyweight Title Match: Rey Mysterio vs. The Undertaker

The pyro explodes and out comes Rey Mysterio to a nice pop. Next the bells toll and out comes The Undertaker to defend his World Heavyweight Title. Taker makes his grand entrance and we get ready to begin.

Mysterio tries to use his quickness early on, kicking at Taker’s leg, and getting in some quick strikes, but Taker grabs Mysterio by the throat, and simply throws him over the top rope and to the floor.

On his way back into the ring, Mysterio catches Taker with a quick shoulder and some more quick striker, but when he goes for a springboard move, Taker simply punches him in the face and Mysterio crashes to the floor. Taker follows him out and sets him up on the apron, clubbing away at his chest. Taker goes for the leg drop, Mysterio moves but Taker lands on his feet and clubs Mysterio. Taker sets Mysterio up on the bottom rope and hits the leg drop instead.

Taker goes for a chokeslam, but Mysterio turns it into a hurricarana and he tries for a 619 but Taker catches him. Taker tries for the tombstone, but Rey fights out of it. Mysterio goes for a springboard cross body, but he ends up eating Taker’s boot. Mysterio rolls to the floor and Taker follows.

Taker catches Mysterio with a big blow, another, and a third. Taker breaks the count, and he tries for a big boot, but Mysterio ducks and Taker ends up hung up on the ring post. Mysterio heads back into the ring and connects with a baseball slide to Taker’s leg while it’s still hung up. Taker falls to the floor, and when he gets to his feet, Rey tries for a hurricarana. Taker catches him and tries for the Last Ride, but Mysterio climbs up on the apron and hits an asai moonsault to take down Taker.

Taker gets to his feet and catches Mysterio by the throat before slamming him back into the barricade. Back in the ring Taker goes for the cover but Mysterio is able to kick out. Taker goes to work on Mysterio’s arm, hoisting him up in the air, and slamming him down across the top rope. Taker chokes Mysterio, breaking at a 3 count, and Mysterio crawls to the corner. Taker starts to work over Mysterio with measured blows in the corner.

Taker connects with a side slam, but Mysterio is still able to kick out at two. Mysterio goes to work with a couple of quick kicks, but another right hand puts him right back down on the canvas. Mysterio catches Taker with a jawbreaker, and a low dropkick to the face. Mysterio hits a springboard leg drop, and goes for the cover, but Taker kicks out at two. Taker makes his way to his feet and catches Mysterio with a huge lariat. Taker is bleeding from the nose and mouth pretty bad. Taker goes for the Last Ride, but Mysterio fights out and Taker ends up in the ropes. Mysterio connects with a 619 and a springboard dropkick to the back. Mysterio hits another 619, but when he goes for the springboard senton, Taker catches him and hits a huge stalling Last Ride. He pins Mysterio, and this one is in the books.

Winner: The Undertaker

- We go backstage where Shawn Michaels is. Kane walks up and tells HBK his obsession with his brother is ridiculous. Kane points out he’s eliminated more stars in one match than anyone. Kane walks off and in comes Triple H. He wishes Shawn good luck tonight. HBK apologizes and says he hopes the best man wins out there. DX shake hands and Triple H goes to walk off. Shawn grips his hand and says Undertaker and him are meant to be. Triple H says he knows this, which is why he knows Shawn will find another way for the match besides winning tonight.

Royal Rumble Match

We go to the ring after a video package where Justin Roberts is going over the rules for tonight’s main event. Superstars will come in every 90 seconds with the winner earning a title shot at WrestleMania. The first Superstar out is Dolph Ziggler. His opponent to start the match out with is going to be Evan Bourne. Bourne and Ziggler face off and both look up to the WrestleMania sign hanging in the arena before going at it.

Bourne catches Ziggle with a coulpe of kicks and a hurricarana before connecting with a heel kick to Ziggler’s jaw. Ziggler almost knocks Bourne out with a dropkick, but Bourne fights him off and stays in the ring. Bourne launches himself up off of Ziggler and connects with the double knees to Ziggler’s chest. Bourne knocks Ziggler to the apron, but he makes it back into the ring. Ziggler connects with the Zig Zag out of nowhere, and he throws Bourne to the apron, but Bourne kicks Ziggler and comes back in the ring with a Shooting Star Press, the buzzer rings and number three is CM Punk with Sarita.

Punk goes after both Bourne and Ziggler and he immediately eliminates both.

Punk grabs the mic and thanks the crowd for joining him for the most historic moment the Straight Edge Society has seen. 29 other men will either be eliminated or saved. The clock counts down and number four is JTG.

JTG goes right to work on CM Punk, but when he charges Punk in the corner, he finds himself eliminated.

Punk gets right back on the mic and says not everyone can win the Rumble, just like not everyone can be saved. Not everyone has his dedication. And tonight he’ll be the first straight edge Rumble winner. The clock counts down again and this time it’s the Great Khali.

Punk tries to save Khali, telling him he can make him greater. Punk says he can see the pain in Khali’s eyes and he needs to be saved. He asks Khali to raise his right hand and accept straight edge into his life, but Khali hits a chop and locks in the vice. The clock counts down again and the next entrant is Beth Phoenix.

Khali immediately picks up Beth and puts her over the rope and directs her to the back. Beth kisses Khali and drags him over the top rope, while remaining on the apron. She turns around and goes right to work on Punk, trying to eliminate him. Punk connects with the G2S on Phoenix.

The clock counts down again and the next man in is Zack Ryder. Punk eliminates Phoenix.

Punk says that Ryder has potential, but he double crosses Ryder and hits him with the mic. Punk sends Ryder over the top rope and eliminates another person. Punk asks who’s next, and says that whoever it is he’s better than them, because he’s better than everyone there today. The next entrant in is Triple H.

Hunter makes his way to the ring slowly, and Punk hypes himself up. Punk and Hunter stare each other down, and Punk tries for a right, but Hunter fights him off. Hunter connects with a knee and puts Punk back into the corner, pounding on him. Punk connects with a high knee, but Hunter fights off the bull dog and hits a spinebuster. The next entrant is Drew McIntyre.

Hunter fights off McIntyre as soon as he gets in the ring with a high knee. Hunter tries for the pedigree on Punk, but Punk fights out. Punk tries for the G2s, but Hunter fights out and sends him out of the ring. The next entrant is Ted DiBiase.

DiBiase is immediately taken down by Hunter, but he retaliates with a scoop slam. McIntyre and Dibiase take turns stomping on Hunter. McIntyre and Dibiase double team Hunter for a bit as the clock counts down. The next entrant is John Morrison.

Morrison immediately goes to work on Dibiase and sets his sights on McIntyre. Morrison connects with a crazy DDT on McIntyre, but he’s attacked from behind by Dibiase. Dibiase tries for the Dream Steet, but Morrison fights it off and hits a big kick. Morrison connects with Starship pain on McIntyre. The next entrant is Kane.

Kane comes into the ring with a top rope clothesline to Hunter. Kane fights off everyone in the match, and turns his attention to DiBiase, hitting a big side slam. Kane hits a double chokeslam on McIntyre and Morrison and a big boot to Hunter. Kane tries to eliminate Dibiase, but Hunter comes in from the side to work on Kane, he gets a chokeslam for his efforts. The next entrant is Cody Rhodes.

Rhodes immediately saves Dibiase from elimination by Kane and Legacy go to work as a team on Kane. Rhodes attacks Hunter and McIntyre, before he sends Morrison to the apron. Morrison comes back in with a springboard, but he eats a dropkick from Rhodes. Rhodes and Dibiase try to eliminate Kane, but Hunter goes to work on Rhodes. Hunter tries to eliminate Rhodes, but Cody hangs on. The next entrant is MVP. MVP is immediately taken out from behind by the Miz who hits him with the US Title.

Morrison connects with a springboard kick to McIntyre’s face. Legacy try to eliminate Triple H, but Kane goes after Legacy, saving Hunter. The next entrant is Carlito.

Carlito comes in as a house of fire, even fighting off a double team attempt from Legacy. Carlito and Kane trade blows, with Carlito going after Kane’s knee. Carlito even gets in a backstabber on Hunter, following up with another to McIntyre, and Dibiase. The next entrant is The Miz.

Miz hits the SCF on Carlito right off the bat, but MVP is right out and he goes after Miz, both men tumble over the top rope. Both Hunter and McIntyre look to be in trouble, but Kane saves Hunter and McIntyre is able to save himself. Hunter stomps away at Carlito. The next entrant #17 is Matt Hardy.

Hardy comes in and goes to work, but when he goes up top, he’s eliminated by Kane, who just pushes him off. Kane is then eliminated by Hunter. Hunter hits a couple of spinebusters and he goes for the pedigree on Rhodes, but McIntyre connects with a chop block to stop him. #18 is Shawn Michaels.

Carlito is eliminated and so are Rhodes and Dibiase, all at the hands of HBK. Michaels chops away at McIntyre and connects with a flying forearm. Michaels ducks a kick from Morrison and tosses him out, adding another man to his elimination tally. Morrison goes to work on HBK, but he’s left alone in the ring with DX, who team up and take him over the top rope with adouble clothesline and Hunter looks like he hurt his knee. The next entrant is John Cena.

Cena hits a double shoulderblock right off the bat. Cena hits a double five knuckle shuffle. Cena goes for the AA on HBK to send him to the outside, but Hunter makes his way up and connects with a pedigree on Cena. Hunter is up, but he eats Sweet Chin Music and goes over the top. The next entrant is Shelton Benjamin.

Benjamin goes right to work on both HBK and John Cena, connecting with Pay Dirt on HBK. Shelton goes for the move on Cena, but he finds himself dumped over the top. The next entrant is Yoshi Tatsu. Tatsu comes in with a couple of big kicks on both Cena and HBK, but he ends up being dumped over the top, just like Benjamin. HBK chops away at Cena in the corner, but Cena is quick to retaliate with a sloppy facebuster. Cena pounds on HBK in the corner. The next entrant is Big Show.

Show hustles his way down to the ring where he quickly takes down Cena and takes HBK all the way to the ring apron, but HBK is back in the ring, where he almost ends up eating an AA. Michaels ends up almost falling to the floor, but he holds on, catches Show in hurricarana position, and ends up being thrown to the canvas. The next entrant is Mark Henry.

Henry and Show face off in a stare down. Show shoves Henry and Henry throws a couple of punches. Henry tries to slam Show, but Show fights it off. Cena hits a big shoulder block on show, and another, followed by a slam from Mark Henry. Cena tries for an AA on Henry, but Cena can’t follow through. #24 is Chris Masters.

Masters goes to work right away, and he tries for the Masterlock on Show, but he finds himself launched over the top rope. Henry gets Show off the ground and almost eliminates him, but HBK comes up from behind to prevent it. #25 is R-Truth. Truth comes in and immediately eliminately Big Show and Mark Henry.

It’s just Truth, Cena and Michaels in the ring. Truth works over Michaels in the corner with a couple of kicks and right hands, and he tries to send HBK over the top, but Michaels isn’t having it. The next entrant is Jack Swagger.

Swagger comes in with a quick Vader bomb on Cena and then HBK. Swagger powerslams Truth into the corner, and then the canvas. Michaels is up and comes in with punches and chops, but he ends up eating a kick, and almost being eliminated by a lariat from Swagger. HBK is able to make it back in under the bottom rope. The next entrant is Kofi Kingston.

Kingston comes in and goes right to Jack Swagger, taking him down and hitting the boom drop. Kofi tries to take Swagger out, but Swagger catches him. Kofi ends up taking Swagger out with a body scissors over the top rope. Kingston is almost eliminated by Truth, but in turn Truth is eliminated by Kingston for real. The next entrant is Chris Jericho.

Jericho goes right after Cena, stomping away at him. Jericho ends up eating an AA from Cena anyway though. Michaels hits a DDT on Cena and HBK goes to the top, where he flies off with an elbow drop to Jericho. HBK tunes up the band, but instead he falls victim to Trouble in Paradise from Kingston. Cena eliminates Kingston with AA and Jericho connects with a Codebreaker on Cena. Next entrant is… Edge!

Edge comes out to a HUMUNGOUS pop from the crowd. Edge spears Jericho, Michaels and Cena, before shoving Jericho out over the top rope. Edge plants HBK, and the takes Cena down with an Impaler DDT. The final entrant is Batista.

Batista comes in as a house of fire, taking everyone out and planting Cena with a spinebuster, but he walks right into a spear from Edge. Edge eats an AA from Cena. It all comes down to HBK, Batista, Cena and Edge.

Michaels is able to fight off everyone for a bit, taking out both Cena and Batista. HBK goes to the top again, this time connecting with an elbow to Cena. HBK hits an enzugiri to Batista and goes up top for an elbow drop to Batista.

HBK connects with SCM on Cena and Batista, but he ends up clotheslined out to the apron by Edge eats a SCM on the apron, knocking him back in the ring, but Batista attacks HBK from behind and Michaels falls to the floor, being eliminated in the process.

Michaels attacks a referee and makes his way back into the ring, where he pleads his case with another ref. In anger, Michaels hits the ref with SCM and falls to the canvas, clutching his head. Michaels finally begins to make his way to the back, looking distraught. It’s down to Cena, Batista, and Edge.

Batista kicked Cena and went for a Batista Bomb, but Cena backdropped him. Batista went for a clothesline, but Cena ducked and pulled down the top rope. Batista went over the top rope and to the floor.

Batista is eliminated.

Edge was measuring Cena for a spear. Cena got up slowly, seemingly knowing it was coming. Cena dodged the spear, and kicked Edge in the chest. Cena then charged Edge, but Edge sidestepped him and tossed Cena out of the ring.

John Cena is eliminated.

Winner: Edge

- After the match, the pyro goes off as Edge points up at the WrestleMania 26 banner hanging in the arena. The Royal Rumble goes off the air with Edge celebrating his return and win.

Ladder Match for the ECW Title: Shelton Benjamin vs. Christian

Michael Cole, Matt Striker and Jerry Lawler are on commentary tonight. They welcome us to the show and hype the first match tonight. Shelton Benjamin is out first followed by the ECW Champion Christian. There are ladders around the ring. Christian comes out without his belt as it is suspended above the ring.

Both men stare each other down before Christian fakes running to the outside to grab a ladder. Benjamin and Christian lock up with Benjamin pushing Christian into the corner. Another lock up, this time Shelton locks in a headlock, but it doesn’t last long as Christian fights out and hits Shelton with a beautiful dropkick.

Christian sends Benjamin into the corner, but Benjamin leaps up to the turnbuckle and comes back with a cross body. Shelton goes for a big kick but Christian ducks and tries for the Killswitch. Shelton fights out, hits a big backbreaker, and bails to the floor. Shelton goes for a ladder, but Christian ids right behind him, and he slams his head into the barricade. Christian goes for a huge ladder, but Shelton attacks and launches Christian into the barricade. Shelton goes for yet another ladder, but Christian jumps from the second rope to the outside on top of Benjamin.

Christian is able to set up a ladder in the ring, but when he tries to climb up it, Shelton is in to break things up. Christian tries for a monkey flip, but Benjamin lands on his feet and launches himself up the ladder, Christian pulls Shelton down and sends him to the outside. Christian grabs a ladder and looks to throw it down on Shelton, but Shelton pulls Christian’s feet out from under him and the ladder lands on Christian’s face.

Trainers are in as apparently Christian has been busted open. The trainer gets huge boos and Shelton argues with the referee to buy time. The crowd starts a ‘We Want Blood’ chant and Benjamin climbs a ladder on the outside. Christian pushes off the trainer and sends Benjamin into the crowd. Christian goes for another ladder, but Benjamin is climbing back up on the ladder on the outside. Benjamin dives off with a somersault on top of Christian and both men are down.

Benjamin is first to his feet and he begins disassembling the announce table. Benjamin props a ladder up between the ring apron and the ladder. Christian tries to Irish whip Benjamin into the ladder, but Shelton ducks and grabs Christian’s legs, trying for a slingshot, but Christian fights back and launches Shelton into yet another ladder on the outside.

Back in the ring, Shelton sends Christian into a ladder in the corner, before putting Christian in the corner and props the ladder on top of Christian. Shelton charges, but Christian sends the ladder back into Benjamin. Christian tries to climb the ladder, but Benjamin knocks it over and hits Christian with a huge kick. Benjamin sets the ladder against the ropes and slams Christian’s head into it repeatedly.

Benjamin sets up the ladder and begins the climb but Christian is right behind him. Christian hits a big reverse DDT from the ladder to the ring and both men are down.

Christian begins climbing the ladder, but Shelton begins climbing the turnbuckle. Christian sees it coming, so he drops down and grabs the ladder, trying to ram it into Bejamin. Benjamin ends up on the ladder, almost to the title, but Christian tips it over. Benjamin lands on the ropes, standing, and he rights the ladder, before tipping himself over and landing on Christian with a hugh clothesline.

Benjamin climbs and had a hand on the title, but Christian is in and he climbs over Benjamin to get his hand on the title. Benjamin counters with a big modified gutbuster from the ladder to the ring.

Benjamin climbs the ladder again and he actually manages to get both hands on the title, but Christian takes the ladder out from under his feet. Christian puts another ladder down and he knocks Benjamin off the title, but Benjamin takes the ladder out from under Christian. Christian hangs from the belt, and Shelton jumps up grabbing his feet. Christian falls straight into powerbomb position and Shelton launches him into a ladder in the corner. Both men are on top of the ladder. Shelton tries for a sunset bomb from the top of the ladder, but Christian counters. Both men fight on the ring apron, near the ladder that was propped up earlier and Shelton tries to catch Christian with a German suplex, but Christian counters with a kick that sends Shelton on top of the ladder. Christian climbs to the top turnbuckle and crashes through Shelton and the ladder with a huge frog splash.

Christian climbs the ladder in the middle of the ring, grabs his title, and wins the match.

Winner: Christian

WWE Intercontinental Title Match: Drew McIntyre vs. John Morrison

We go to the ring for the next match and out first comes the challenger, Drew McIntyre. The WWE Intercontinental Champion John Morrison is out next to a nice pop. The bell rings and here we go.

Morrison and McIntyre lock up with Drew backing up Morrison into the corner. Another lock up and Morrison comes out with an arm bar, but he’s quickly put down by a punch to the face from McIntyre. McIntyre locks in a modified front face lock, but Morrison works his way out and hits an arm drag. Morrison connects with a beautiful hurricanrana followed by a stiff kick to the back, but a pin attempt only gains a two count. McIntyre bails to the outside.

Morrison follows McIntyre out, but when he tries to surprise Drew, he ends up being launches face first into the steel ring post. Back in the ring, McIntyre slams Morrison’s head into the top turnbuckle and goes to work, punching and stomping away at Morrison.

McIntyre locks in the same modified front face lock, but Morrison fights out with a series of forearms and kicks. It doesn’t last for long though as soon Drew is punishing Morrison with clotheslines in the corner before McIntyre hits a big suplex, then right back into the same submission.

Morrison fights out again, but he falls victim to a big boot from McIntyre. McIntyre pounds on Morrison and tries for a couple of pin attempts, but he can’t get three. McIntyre locks in the same submission, but this time he has Morrison’s face pressed to the canvas. Morrison fights out again, and this time he’s able to put McIntyre down with a huge DDT counter and both men are down.

Morrison punches away at McIntyre, sending him down to the mat with a clothesline and a weird high knee. Morrison climbs to the top and hits a big missile dropkick, but when he goes for the pin Drew kicks out at two.

McIntyre goes to work on Morrison’s leg before hitting an inverted Alabama Slam, but it’s still not enough to keep Morrison down. McIntyre picks up Morrison, but he ends up being dropkicked through the ropes by Morrison. Morrison follows to the outside where he sends McIntyre into the barricade with a drop toe hold before jumping up to the ring apron and launching off with a huge kick.

Back in the ring, Morrison goes for the Starship Pain, but he launches himself too far and barely lands on McIntyre. Morrison goes for the pin, but McIntyre’s leg is under the rope. Morrison stomps away at McIntyre, but he takes off his belt and the ref turns his back to toss it out of the ring. McIntyre pokes Morrison in the eye and connects with his double arm DDT. McIntyre pins Morrison and we have a new champion.

- We go backstage where Drew McIntyre is being interviewed after winning the IC title. Sheamus walks up and says as a fellow newcomer, that was impressive. Sheamus says he is leaving tonight a Champion also. We go to ringside.

WWE Women’s Title Match: Mickie James vs. Michelle McCool

Out first for the next match is the challenger, Mickie James to a nice pop. Out next is the WWE Women’s Champion Michelle McCool with Layla at her side. We go to replays of the Piggy James segment last month.

Mickie tries to attack McCool right off the bat, but McCool bails to the floor and demands the ref back her up. McCool is slow to get back in the ring, where she finally locks up with James. Mickie takes McCool down, while still locked up, and the two actually roll to the outside, where they slam each other into the barricade and the ring apron, before staring each other down and making their way back into the ring.

Mickie takes McCool down and scores a couple of quick near falls, but when she goes for a crucifix, McCool gets her in Alabama slam position and backs up into the corner, squashing Mickie. McCool kicks away at Mickie, before trying for a pin, but only scoring a near fall.

McCool locks in a rear chin lock, and when Mickie tries to fight her way out, McCool stomps down on her. McCool kicks away at James before burying her knee in Mickie’s back.

Mickie is able to fight back with a couple of big right hands, but when she goes for a hurricanrana, McCool counters with a big backbreaker that’s good for a near fall. Mickie almost surprises McCool with a small package, but McCool kicks out and sends Mickie to the floor. McCool follows out, where she launches Mickie into the barricade.

McCool tries to knee Mickie, but James ducks and McCool’s knee connects with the barricade. Mickie connects with a hurricanrana and a Thesz press before moving things back in the ring. Mickie hits another Thesz press that’s good for a near fall, and she follows it up with a series of clotheslines. Mickie tries for a head scissors, but McCool sends her to the apron. Layla gets involved, and she ends up eating a big boot from McCool. Mickie tries to surprise her with a roll up, but McCool kicks out, hits a huge kick to the chest, and pins Mickie for the three count.

Winner: Michelle McCool

- The announcers hype tonight’s Tables Match for the WWE Title. We go to a video showing the happenings between John Cena and Sheamus on RAW.

Tables Match for the WWE Title: Sheamus vs. John Cena

We go to the ring where Sheamus makes his way out first. Out next is the WWE Champion John Cena to a huge pop from the crowd.

Sheamus tells Cena to bring it on at the outset of the match. Cena comes with a series of punches before he slams Sheamus’ head into the turnbuckle and follows up with a bulldog. Cena continues to pound on Sheamus, but when he charges Cena in the corner, Sheamus hits a shoulder block and follows it up with a big kick. Sheamus hits a suplex, and he mounts Cena, punching away at his head.

Sheamus goes to the outside for a table, but Cena is right behind him and he sends him into the announce table, slamming his head repeatedly into the table. Cena pucks up Sheamus and sends him chest first into the barricade. Sheamus battles back and sends Cena shoulder first into the steel ring post. Sheamust tries to Irish whip Cena, but Cena reverses it and sends Sheamus into the ring steps.

Cena pulls a table out from under the ring and he sets it up on the arena floor. Cena picks Sheamus up and props him on the table before he climbs to the top turnbuckle. Sheamus jumps off the table before Cena can jump, but Cena gives chase. Sheamus rolls back into the ring, and while Cena is climbing in, Sheamus stomps away at him. Sheamus picks up Cena and hits a big running powerslam.

Sheamus pounds away on Cena, who’s standing on the ring apron, holding onto the ropes so he won’t go through the table. Cena fights back and gets Sheamus in AA position, but Sheamus fights out and sends Cena head first into the turnbuckle.

Both men go to the outside, where Sheamus pushes Cena into the ring apron hard before slamming his head into the steel ring steps. Sheamus tries to punch Cena, but Cena blocks and hits Sheamus with a punch of his own before sending him head first into the ring steps. Cena gets Sheamus up into AA position again, but Sheamus fights out and gets Cena in powebomb position. Sheamus picks him up, but Cena counters out and fights Sheamus to the top of the ramps. Sheamus tries for a desperation suplex, but Cena reverses it and suplexes Sheamus on the entrance ramp.

Cena goes back to the ringside area to grab the table, which he puts on his shoulder. Cena tries to slam the table down on top of Sheamus, but Sheamus moves. Cena follows and quickly slams his head into the barricade. Sheamus and Cena fight out into the crowd, but it’s brief as Cena quickly clotheslines Sheamus over the barricade back into the ringside area.

Cena sends Sheamus back into the ring before going under the ring to grab another table. Cena sets up the table on the outside, but when he comes back into the ring he quickly falls victim to the Irish Curse kick.

Sheamus goes to the outside, where he grabs a table and makes his way back into the ring. Sheamus props the table up in the corner. Sheamus picks up Cena, but Cena counters out and hits a couple of big shoulder blocks before following up with a side belly to back suplex. Cena hits the five knuckle shuffle, but Sheamus gets to his feet and sends the table to the outside. Cena hits the AA and he drags Sheamus closer to the ring apron.

Cena goes to the outside where he grabs another table to bring back into the ring. Cena sets up the table in the middle of the ring (it seems like he’s moving in slow motion). Cena puts Sheamus on the top turnbuckle, and Cena tries to get Sheamus in Attitude Adjustment position on the second rope. Sheamus fights out and Cena falls to the mat. Cena and Sheamus trade blows with Sheamus still on the top turnbuckle. Cena tries for a superplex, but Sheamus pushes him off, through the table.

Winner and New WWE Champion: Sheamus

- After the match, Sheamus celebrates with the WWE Championship. The new Champion heads up the ramp and to the back. John Cena sits up in the ring and looks disgusted. We see a shot of a kid in the crowd crying. Cena picks something up from the smashed table and walks to the back with his head down.

Chairs Match for the World Heavyweight Title: Batista vs. The Undertaker

After some promos, we go to the ring for the next match where all chairs are legal. Out first is Batista. The bells toll and out comes the World Heavyweight Champion. The Undertaker makes his grand entrance before we get formal ring introductions.

Cole announces that while chairs are legal in this match for use as a weapon, you can be disqualified for other reasons and there are countouts.

Batista bails to the floor at the sound of the bell and goes right for a chair, but Undertaker doesn’t allow him to use it. Back in the ring Undertaker hits a quick clothesline before pounding on Batista in the corner. Taker stomps away at Batista for a bit before sending him head first into the turnbuckle. Batista is able to fight back with a clothesline of his own, but when he goes for the pin, Taker kicks out at one. Taker sends Batista to the outside.

Taker sends Batista head first into the steel steps, but when Taker goes for a chair shot, Batista buries his foot in Taker’s midsection and sends him head first into the stairs. Batista tries to send Taker into the barricade, but Taker reverses it and Batista ends up flipping over into the timekeeper’s area. Taker tosses a couple of chairs in the ring, but when he goes for a big kick on Batista, Batista ducks and Taker ends up being hung up on the barricade. Batista hits Taker with a big chair shot and uses the chair to choke the Undertaker.

Batista sends Taker into the ring post and he tries to hit him with a chair, but Taker ducks and the momentum shifts. Taker sets Batista up for his big apron leg drop and he hits it. Back in the ring, Taker goes for the cover but Batista kicks out at two. Taker tries for Old School, but Batista counters and Taker ends up sitting on the top turnbuckle. Batista tries for a superplex, and after a little bit of fighting, he’s able to connect, but again it’s only good enough for a two count.

Batista sets a chair down in the middle of the ring and he tries for the Batista bomb, but Taker counters with a back body drop sending Batista down on top of the chair. Taker and Batista trade blows in the middle of the ring with Taker getting the advantage, but it doesn’t last long as Batista fights back with a big spinebuster that’s good for a near fall.

Batista wedges a chair in between the top and middle turnbuckle before going back to pounding on Taker. Batista tries for a clothesline, but Taker ducks and comes back with a leaping clothesline of his own. Taker hits a nasty shoulderblock and goes for Old School again, connecting this time.

Taker hits snake eyes in the corner on Batista, but Batista comes right back with a spear. Batista tries for a cover, but he can’t hold Taker down for the three count. Batista picks up Taker and drives him down on a chair with a big spine buster. Batista teases the Batista bomb, but he finds himself caught in the Hell’s gate out of nowhere. Batista is able to fall over into the ropes and force a break of the submission.

Batista bails to the floor to recover and when Taker tries to follow out after him, Batista hits Taker with a chair shot to the throat. Back in the ring, Batista tries for a spear, but Taker moves and Batista connects with the chair he set up in the corner earlier. Taker tries for a pin but Batista kicks out at two. Taker signals for the chokeslam, and he connects, but again Batista kicks out at two.

Taker tries for the tombstone, but Batista counters out and pushes Taker toward the ref. The ref turns his back and Batista uses the opportunity to hit a low blow. Batista hits a huge chair shot straight to Taker’s head. He pins Taker and gets a three count.

Winner and New World Heavyweight Champion: Batista

After the match, Teddy Long is out and he says that even though the usage of chairs is legal, a blatant foul is not. Long says he won’t allow the World Heavyweight Championship to change hands on such a cheap act, so this match will be restarted.

Batista tries to get a quick chair shot, but Taker gets his foot up. Taker hits a chair shot of his own and follows up with a tombstone. Taker pins Batista and this one is over.

Winner: The Undertaker

- We go to a video package showing events leading up to this “rubber” match between Kofi Kingston and Randy Orton. We go backstage where Kofi is getting ready. Legacy walks up. Kofi refers to them as Orton’s sidekicks and they don’t like it. Kofi starts to give them a message for Orton but says he has a better idea. Kofi walks to Orton’s dressing room and confronts him. Kofi says Orton doesn’t deserve a title shot and talks about tonight. We go to the ring.

Randy Orton vs. Kofi Kingston

Voices plays as Randy Orton makes his way to the ring first for the next match. Kofi Kingston is out next to a nice pop from the crowd. Orton looks on as Kofi enters the ring.

Orton and Kingston are quick to lock up, with Orton locking in a side headlock and taking Kingston down to the mat, keeping the hold locked in. Kingston is able to fight out with a head scissors and both men make their way back to their feet. Orton locks in a quick hammerlock, but Kingston fights out of it. Orton backs Kingston up and he pounds on him in the corner for a bit.

Orton sends Kofi into the corner, but when he follows in Kingston hits him with a big kick. Kingston charges Orton, but he falls victim to a powerslam. Orton locks in a rear chin lock, cranking down when Kingston tries to fight out. Kingston is eventually able to get out of it and he hits Orton with a series of right hands in the corner, before trying for a quick sunset flip. Kingston hits a Russian leg sweep and he tries for the boom drop, but Orton bails to the floor. Kingston follows out and he tries to hit Orton with a crazy cross body block, but Orton counters with a sick drop kick to Kofi’s ribs.

Orton picks Kofi up and puts him down ribs first on the barricade, doing further damage. Orton sends Kingston back into the ring and he tries for the pin, but Kingston kicks out at two. Orton stomps away at Kingston’s midsection, continuing to work over the ribs.

Kingston tries to fight back with a couple of right hands, but it doesn’t last long as Orton suplexes Kofi ribs first into the ring ropes. Orton hits a high knee drop, and tries for a pin, but Kingston kicks out at two.

Orton kicks at Kofi’s ribs and hits a big European uppercut. Kingston works his way back to his feet, ducks a fist from Orton and connects with the SOS.

Kingston tries for a pin, but Orton is able to kick out at two. When Orton gets back to his feet, he’s quickly clotheslined to the outside. Kofi follows with a suicide dive through the ropes onto Orton. Kingston sends Orton back into the ring and he goes to the top turnbuckle. Kofi hits a beautiful cross body, but again it’s only good for two Kofi chops away at Orton’s chest before connecting with a leaping lariat. Orton sends Kingston into the corner, but Kingston counters by jumping off the ropes with a big chop to the head.

Orton is able to connect with his crazy backbreaker, and he begins stalking Kofi. Orton looks to be going to the RKO, but Kofi counters with a high dropkick. Kofi hits the boom drop, and follows with up with trouble in Paradise. Kingston goes for the pin, but Orton is able to grab the bottom rope and break up the pin. Orton bails to the outside and Kingston is quick to follow.

Kingston struggles to get Orton back into the ring, and when Kingston tries to follow, Orton springs up and hits his rope assisted DDT and both men are down.

Orton is back to his feet first and he’s stalking Kingston yet again. Orton goes for the punt, but Kingston is able to get up his arm to block the shot. Orton goes for a single arm DDT, doing even more damage to Kingston’s arm. Kingston gets back up and tries to surprise Orton with the trouble in Paradise, but Orton blocks. Orton picks Kofi back up, hits an RKO, pins Kofi and this one’s over.

Winner: Randy Orton

- We go backstage where Batista is yelling at Teddy Long. He says he was robbed and it was Teddy’s fault. Batista wants Teddy to make this right. Batista swings a chair at the wall and says if it’s not right, next time he will swing it at Teddy’s head.

TLC Match for the WWE Unified Tag Team Titles: DX vs. Chris Jericho and Big Show
We go to the ring where one set of the Unified Tag Titles are hanging above the ring. Out first for tonight’s main event is DX. There are tables and ladders setup around the ring. Out next are the WWE Unified Tag Team Champions Chris Jericho and Big Show.

All four men stare each other down at the beginning of the match, until Show shoves HHH and Michaels shoves Jericho. The fight is on as Show and HHH bail to the floor, where Show sends Triple H into the barricade. Back in the ring, HBK hits Jericho with a neckbreaker. On the outside, Show tries for a clothesline, but Triple H ducks and Show ends up in the crowd.

HHH grabs a table that he props up on the barricade as Michaels and Jericho continue to fight in the ring. Big Show is back up and he punches Triple H, fighting with him part of the way up the entrance ramp. Michaels and Jericho make their way to the outside, where HBK ends up eating ring post. Jericho tries to suplex Michaels through a table, but Michaels won’t go down. Michaels reverses out of the suplex and sends Jericho back in the ring.

Jericho tries for the Walls of Jericho but HBK fights out and heads to the top rope. Michaels tries for a top rope elbow drop, but Jericho is able to get his knees up. Jericho grabs a ladder while HHH and Show fight at the top of the ramp. Jericho tries to intervene, grabbing a chair and going after HHH, but HHH blocks and tries for the pedigree. Jericho counters out with a backdrop sending HHH crashing down on the entrance ramp.

Jericho and Michaels both go for chair shots, with the chairs colliding, and Michaels comes out on top, then turning to hit Show. Show puts down Michaels and he and Jericho make their way down to the ringside area. Show grabs a ladder and Jericho hops into the ring.
DX are down to break things up, and HHH pounds on Jericho in the corner. HHH picks up the ladder and drives it into Jericho’s midsection.
DX double team Jericho in the ring, Michaels puts him down with a body slam before DX slam the ladder down on top of Jericho’s back. DX then use the ladder as a battering ram straight into Show’s face. DX set up the ladder under the titles and HBK begins the climb. Show is back in the ring to break things up, sending HHH down and pulling HBK off the ladder. Show pounds on HHH in the corner while Jericho brings in another ladder and slams Michael’s head down onto it. Jericho hits a baseball slide into the ladder into Michaels, sending Michaels to the floor.

Jericho bulldogs HHH on top of the ladder, doing damage to the ribs. Show props the ladder up in the corner as Jericho sends Michaels back down to the floor. Jericho sends HHH into the ladder in the corner with an Irish whip, before Show body slams HHH into the ladder. Show hangs up HHH by his leg, upside down in the ladder, before sending HBK into the ladder, and HHH, with a big Irish whip.
Jericho gets HHH out of the ladder, and tries for another Irish whip into said ladder, but HHH reverses it, sending Jericho to the floor. HHH dodges a splash in the corner from show before hitting a facebreaker. HHH picks up the ladder and hits Big Show in the head before throwing it to the outside on top of Jericho. Show tries for a chokeslam, but HHH counters into a DDT, setting Show up for a top rope elbow drop from Michaels. HBK tries for Sweet chin music, but Jericho ducks it and hits a codebreaker. Jericho walks right into a spinebuster from HHH, who quickly falls victim to a spear from Show.

Show grabs a ladder and sets it up under the titles. Show starts the slow climb up the ladder, scared that the ladder will collapse, but HHH is in with a big chair shot. Big Show just looks angry as he makes his way down the ladder. Show hits HHH’s chair straight into HHH’s face. Show tries to climb the ladder again, but this time, both members of DX push the ladder over into the ropes. Show walks straight into a Pedigree with an assist from Michaels.

HBK sets up the ladder, and he almost gets to the top before Jericho tips the ladder over, sending Michaels crashing to the outside on top of Show. Jericho rights the ladder and starts to climb up, but HHH is in to break things up. HHH finally pulls Jericho off the ladder and plants him with a big powerbomb. Now HHH is going to climb the ladder for the titles, but Big Show is back in the ring and he plucks HHH off the ladder and takes him down with a big chokeslam.

Big Show destroys the ladder currently in the ring before tossing it to the outside. Show pounds on HHH in the corner with some massive right hands and a big headbutt. Show puts HHH down with a big body slam and Jericho grabs another ladder from under the ring. Jericho and Show wedge DX in between the ladder. Show holds the ladder down on top of DX while Jericho wails away at the ladder with a chair. Big Show rips the ladder apart with his bare hands, sending half to the floor and leaving half of it in the ring. JeriShow sends DX to the floor, where Show follows. Show chokeslams Michaels into HHH through a table.
Jericho climbs on top of Big Shows shoulders, trying to reach the titles, but DX make their way back into the ring. HBK hits Show with SCM, sending Jericho crashing to the outside. Michaels hits a second SCM on Big Show before DX pick up the half ladder and send Show over the top to the outside. HHH holds up the half of the ladder as Michaels climbs up toward the titles. Michaels is able to unhook the titles and we have new champions.

Traditional Survivor Series Match: The Miz, Dolph Ziggler, Jack Swagger, Drew McIntyre and Sheamus vs. John Morrison, Matt Hardy, Evan Bourne, Finlay and Shelton Benjamin

Out first for tonight’s opener is Team Miz. The WWE US Champion The Miz comes out first by himself. Dolph Ziggler is next followed by Jack Swagger, Drew McIntyre and then Sheamus. Cole, Jerry Lawler and Matt Striker are on commentary. The WWE IC Champion John Morrison is out first for his team followed by Evan Bourne, Finlay, Matt Hardy and Shelton Benjamin.

Bourne and Swagger look to start things out for their respective teams. Bourne uses his quickness to sidestep Swagger a couple of times before Bourne connects with a roll up. Bourne goes for a small package, but Swagger counters with a suplex and tags in Ziggler. Ziggler makes his way into the ring and hits a nasty neckbreaker variation on Bourne before sending him into the corner. Ziggler hits a crazy belly-to-back suplex and he tries for the pin but Bourne kicks out. Ziggler hits a series of elbows before taking off his elbow pad and hitting one more high impact jumping elbow. Ziggler makes the tag back out to Swagger.

Swagger makes his way in and tries to wear Bourne down with a chin lock but Swagger just pounds him down and tags in Ziggler. Bourne comes out of nowhere with a huge double knee drop on Swagger, but Ziggler is the legal man, and he locks in a nasty single leg crab. Ziggler pulls Bourne to the center of the ring, but Bourne fights out and hits a great hurricanrana from out of nowhere. Bourne is able to make the tag to Hardy and both Hardy and Bourne go to the middle rope to hit dual elbows on Ziggler. Hardy hits a side effect on Ziggler before tagging in Bourne who hits a beautiful shooting star press. Bourne pins Ziggler and he’s gone. McIntyre is in an he hits a double arm DDT on Bourne. He pins him and Evan is gone. Finlay is in like a house of fire on McIntyre.

McIntyre is able to make the tag to Sheamus, who comes in and hits a nasty kick to Finlay’s face. Sheamus pins Finlay and he is eliminated. Hardy is in to work on Sheamus, who he puts back in the corner with a lariat. Hardy goes for a side effect but Sheamus fights out of it and hits a big slam on Hardy.

Sheamus tags out to Miz who comes in and continues the assault on Hardy, pounding him down in the corner before distracting the referee to allow Miz’s team to take advantage of Hardy. Miz locks in a rear chin lock and the crowd tries to get behind Hardy. Hardy is able to fight out of the submission, but when he goes for a slam, Miz is able to hit a reverse neckbreaker, DDT combo. Miz goes for the pin but Hardy kicks out. Miz locks in another chin lock, but Hardy fights out yet again. Hardy hits a side Russian leg sweep and both men are down.

Miz is able to tag out to Swagger who tries to wear Hardy down in the corner. Hardy is able to surprise Swagger with a couple of blows, but Swagger pounds on Hardy’s back to put him down to the mat. Swagger locks in a rear chin lock on Hardy and he’s able to fight out again, this time into a sleeper/neckbreaker combination on Swagger.

Morrison is able to tag in and he comes in with some quick offense on Swagger. Morrison hits a beautiful dropkick and running knee, but Swagger is able to toss Morrison in the corner. Swagger goes for the Vader bomb, but Morrison moves out of the way. Morrison hits Swagger with a springboard kick to the head but McIntyre and Sheamus are in to break up the cover. Hardy and Bejamin are in to take out the heels, and the ref is taken out in the melee. Swagger almost hits the gut wrench powerbomb, but Morrison fights out of it. Morrison is able to connect with Starship, and another ref is down to make the count. Swagger is gone.

Miz is in from behind and he attacks Morrison. Miz connects with his corner lariat, before going to the top turnbuckle for a double ax handle. Miz locks in a rear chin lock but Morrison is able to fight out. Morrison makes the bling tag to Benjamin who comes in and surprises Miz with a roll up. Miz is able to kick out, but Shelton’s offense is too explosive and he hits a beautiful leap from the top rope, splash and Northern lights suplex in succession. Benjamin hits a German suplex, but he still can’t keep Miz down. Sheamus surprises Benjamin with a headbutt and Miz is able to connect with the skull crushing finale to take Benjamin out of the match. Hardy is in quickly but Miz makes the tag to McIntyre. McIntyre is able to work over Hardy with a couple of quick strikes, but Hardy is able to come back with a drop toe hold into the corner. Hardy hits a neckbreaker and he goes to the second rope for a big leg drop. Hardy covers McIntyre, but he kicks out.

Hardy goes for a moonsault, but McIntyre avoids it. McIntyre hits his big Kobashi DDT, pins Hardy, and Hardy is gone.

Morrison is in and pounding down on McIntyre in the corner, but when the ref breaks it up, McIntyre is able to get the upper hand with a sneak attack. McIntyre tags in Sheamus who comes in and continues the beat down on Morrison. Sheamus makes a quick tag out to Miz who’s in with a big kick to Morrison’s mid-section. Miz screams at Morrison, but Morrison blocks a punch and gets in a coupple of blows of his own. Morrison surprises Miz with a big heel kick, but Miz is able to tag out to Sheamus who is in with a big forearm to Morrison’s head. Sheamus distracts the ref long enough for both McIntyre and Miz to get a coupple of licks in. Morrison starts to fight against all three men, sending McIntyre and Miz to the floor. Sheamus counters a springboard kick with a kick of his own to Morrison’s knee. Sheamus hits a running Crucifix Powerbomb, pins Morrison, and this one is over.

Winners: Drew McIntyre, The Miz and Sheamus

- Team Kofi is backstage talking. Kofi wants Orton tonight. Christian tries to point out that he’s the only white guy on the team, it looks like but he says he’s the only one from ECW and they play it off. They tell Christian to get his “swag on” and he raps about the team. He says in his rap that he’s the only white guy and it causes an awkward moment. Weird segment here.

- We get a long video package showing the events leading up to Batista vs. Rey Mysterio.

Batista vs. Rey Mysterio

Rey Mysterio comes out for the next match to a big pop and his pyro. Out next comes Batista, in his hometown, to a big pop from the crowd. Batista hits the ring and tries to intimidate Rey. The bell rings and here we go.

Mysterio uses some of his quickness to duck Batista and scoe a couple of kicks. Rey fights out of a slam and hits a dropkick to Batista’s knee. Mysterio teases the 619, but Batista bails to the floor. Rey follows him out, only to be slammed back into the ring apron. Mysterio is able to surprise Batista with a quick kick and headbutt, but Batista comes out of nowhere with a huge lariat to put Mysterio down to the mat.

Batista teases the Batista bomb, but Mysterio is able to fight out and hit a chop block to Batista’s knee. Rey sends Batista into the ropes with a dropkick to the back, but when he goes for the 619, it’s blocked by Batista. Batista tries for the Batista bomb, but Mysterio pounds away and counters with a hurricanrana to the outside. Mysterio follows up with a baseball slide to send Batista into the ringside barrier. Batista fights back and sends Mysterio back into the ring, but Mysterio surprises Batista with a 619 to his back, then stomach, then a final 619 to Batista’s face before hitting a springboard senton. Mysterio goes for a frog splash but Batista gets his knees up.

Batista hits a giant spear and Mysterio is down. Batista picks up Rey and hits a huge spinebuster before stalking Mysterio and picking him up again. Batista takes his time executing a Batista bomb, but he doesn’t go for the pin.

Batista picks Mysterio up again and takes him down with a second Batista bomb. The referee checks on Mysterio for a bit before Batista picks up Mysterio for a third Batista bomb. The referee calls for the bell.

Winner by referee stoppage: Batista

- After the match, WWE officials check on Rey in the ring. Batista brings in a steel chair and sits down on it, staring at Rey. He stands up and tosses the chair. Rey’s leg goes out and he falls. Batista picks him up and hits a big spinebuster on the steel chair. WWE officials come back in to check on Rey as Batista walks up the ramp. They put a neck brace on Rey and load him on a stretcher as we go to replays.

- We go backstage with Team Orton in the locker room. Orton indicates that he’s disappointed with his team mates – Legacy, William Regal and CM Punk. Punk brings up Kofi beating Orton up in MSG. Orton says their team needs to win tonight to fix everything and he expects this from everyone. They all walk off and we go to a RAW promo.

Traditional Survivor Series Match: Randy Orton, Legacy, CM Punk and William Regal vs. Kofi Kingston, Christian, MVP, Mark Henry and R-Truth

Out first for Team Orton is CM Punk followed by William Regal, the team of Legacy and finally the captain, Randy Orton. Orton gets a nice pop from the crowd. Kofi Kingston’s music hits next and out he comes first for his team. We go to a replay of RAW last week where Kofi had his moment at MSG. The ECW Champion Christian comes out to a nice pop and greets Henry and MVP. R-Truth is out next, rapping his song. Orton and Kofi are going to start things off it looks like until Henry comes in. The bell rings and here we go.

Henry is quick to hit a big splash on Orton in his own teams corner, before sending all the other members of Team Orton to the floor. Henry locks in a bear hug on Orton, but the ref is distracted and Legacy breaks it up. Orton his an early RKO on Henry and pins him for the three count. Orton bails to the outside and confers with his team as MVP waits in the ring.

Orton backs up MVP into Orton’s corner where he tags in DiBiase who helps pound down on MVP. Really quick tags here as almost every member tags in to stomp away on MVP. Punk locks in a rear chin lock, but MVP fights out and hits a quick belly to belly suplex. Truth makes his way into the ring and hits Punk with a couple of quick right hands and a big hip toss. Truth ducks a clothesline from Punk, but he gets distracted and falls victim to a G2S from Punk. Punk pins Truth, and Truth is gone.

Christian is in and he is able to hold his own against Punk for a bit before falling victim to a body slam. DiBiase makes the tag into the match and executes a double stomp. He goes for the pin on Christian, but Christian kicks out at two. DiBiase hits a big scoop slam and he looks for the Dream street. Christian tries to counter with the Killswitch, but DiBiase counters with a slingshot into the corner. Christian launches himself over DiBiase and grabs him with a sunset flip. The ref counts three and DiBiase is gone. Regal is in quickly to pound on Christian, but Christian tags out to Kingston, who is all over Regal with some big strikes.

Regal tags out to Rhodes, who beats on Kingston for a bit, but when Regal tags back into the match, Kofi is able to fight back a bit with a couple of right hands, but he falls victim to an exploder bomb. MVP tags in and hits a Chono kick, and gets the pin to eliminate Regal.

MVP tags out to Christian who comes in and is beat down for a bit by Rhodes. Rhodes locks in a body scissors, but Christian is able to fight back and stand up, turning it into a roll up, but Rhodes kicks out at two and hits an explosive clothesline. Randy tags in and hits a beautiful dropkick, but it’s still not enough to keep Christian down for a three count. Orton stomps away at Christian’s midsection before tagging out to Rhodes. Rhodes misses a knee drop and Christian makes the tag to MVP. MVP comes in with a series of clotheslines, and a facebreaker. MVP hits the ballin’ elbow, but MVP is distracted by Orton. This allows Rhodes to hit cross Rhodes, and get the pin on MVP, eliminating him. Kofi surprises Rhodes with a roll up, but he can’t hold him down.

Kofi makes the tag to Christian who falls victim to a boot to the gut from Rhodes. Rhodes tries to leap frog Christian, but Christian connects with the Killswitch and pins Rhodes for the three. Christian hits Orton with a couple of big right hands, but Orton pulls Christian down face first into the corner.

Orton surprises Kofi and sends him to the floor, but it allows Christian to catch Orton is a surprise roll up. Punk distracts Christian and allows Randy to try for an RKO, but Christian counters with a Killswitch. Christian tries for the pin, but Punk breaks it up. Christian charges Orton in the corner, but Orton moves and Christian connects with the ring post. Orton connects with an RKO, pins Christian, and the ECW Champ is gone. Kofi is the lone man and Orton tags in Punk.

Kingston and Punk talk for a bit before trading blows. Kofi comes out on top, but Punk is able to get him in position for the G2S, Kofi fights out and tries for the Trouble in Paradise, but Punk ducks it. Kofi connects with a dropkick before hitting the SOS, but Punk is able to kick out of the pinfall attempt. Kofi tries for a splash in the corner, but Punk is able to move out of the way and the tide of the match turns. Punk lands a big kick to Kofi’s back, and he tries for a pin, but Kingston kicks out at two. Punk locks in a leg lock on Kofi’s neck, but Kofi fights out by kicking Punk in the head.

Punk connects with a powerslam and goes right back into a leg lock, this time it’s a body scissors on Kingston. Kingston fights out with a couple of elbows to Punk’s head. Kofi tries for a splash but Punk gets his knees up. Punk blows the fans a kiss before hitting a big falcon arrow, but Kofi is still able to kick out of the pin attempt.

Punk connects with the high knee to the jaw, but when he tries for the bulldog, Kofi counters with a belly to back suplex. Kofi goes for the top rope, but Punk catches him with a right hand. Punk goes up and tries for the superplex, but Kofi fights out of it and sends Punk back. Punk is quick to come back, but Kofi sends Punk down again and connects with a giant cross body, but again it’s only good for two. Kofi connects with a couple of strikes and a high kick to Punk before being distracted by Orton. Punk tries to roll up Kofi, but Kingston rolls through and ends up holding Punk down for a three count instead. Orton is in the ring and Kingston immediately connects with the Trouble in Paradise out of nowhere. Kingston pins Orton and this one is over.

- We get a short replay of events leading to the World Title match for tonight.

World Heavyweight Title Match: Chris Jericho vs. Big Show vs. The Undertaker

Out first for this next match is one-half of the Unified Tag Team Champions, Chris Jericho. The other half and second challenger in this match, Big Show, is out next. Feels like they might be rushing things here, maybe just with the entrances. Everything stops but a big Undertaker chant from the crowd. The bells start tolling, the flames rise and out comes the World Heavyweight Champion. We get formal ring introductions before the bell rings and we get ready to go.

Jericho and Show look like they’re on the same page to start things off as they catch Taker in the corner and beat down on him for a bit. Undertaker tries to fight back, but the teamwork of Jericho and Show is too much to overcome as they trade off with Jericho kicking and Undertaker punching Taker. Show launches Undertaker into the corner and he drops him with a clothesline. Jericho clotheslines Jericho over the top rope but Taker lands on his feet and drags Jericho to the outside. Taker pounds on Jericho for a bit, before working over Show’s midsection with lefts and rights. Undertaker goes for a big boot on Jericho, but Jericho moves and Undertaker ends up straddling the barricade. Jericho knocks Taker over the barricade and holds him up for Big Show, who hits a knockout punch to Taker’s stomach.

Show and Jericho are finally able to get Taker back into the ring, where Jericho stomps away at Taker. Jericho directs Show, telling him to stand on Taker’s throat. Jericho goes to the outside and punches away at him. Show pounds on Taker in the corner, and the Tag Champs send him across the ring. Show sends Jericho into Taker, but Taker moves and Jericho’s shoulder connects with the ring post. Undertaker is able to fight back against Big Show, connecting with a jumping lariat and sending Show to the outside. Undertaker hits a couple of big splashes on Jericho before sending his head into the turnbuckle, but he gets pulled to the outside by Show. Undertaker sends Show head first into the ring post and he goes back up to the ring apron. Jericho tries to surprise Taker with a springboard dropkick, but Taker connects with a big fist instead. Taker goes for Old School, but Jericho crotches Taker on the top turnbuckle.

Jericho tries for a superplex, but Undertaker fights out. Jericho is persistent, comes back, and connects with a superplex on the second attempts. Jericho tries for the cover, but Undertaker is able to kick out at two. Jericho mounts Undertaker and hits him with a couple of big rights before going for the lionsault. Jericho connects with Taker’s knees, but he’s able to immediately lock in the Walls of Jericho. Jericho keeps Taker in the middle of the ring, but Big Show makes his way into the ring and catches Jericho with a chokeslam. Show tries to chokeslam Taker, but Undertaker counters with a DDT and all three men are down.

Jericho tries to pin Taker, but he kicks out at two. Jericho tries for the pin on Show, but Show kicks out with so much force it sends Jericho to the outside. Show and Taker trade blows in the middle of the ring with Taker getting the upper hand. Show gets his hand around Taker’s throat and tries for the chokeslam, but Taker tries for one of his own. Jericho comes in and hits Show with the title belt, but falls victim to a big boot from Taker. Undertaker tries for the cover but Jericho kicks out at two. Taker sends Show to the outside. Taker picks up Jericho for the last ride, but Jericho has the belt and he smashes Taker in the head. Jericho slowly makes the pin, but Taker is able to kick out at two.

Jericho teases the Tombstone, but Taker reverses into tombstone position. Big Show catches Undertaker with the knockout punch and goes for the pin on Undertaker but Jericho breaks things up. Jericho goes for the cover but Show breaks things up. Jericho tries for the code breaker, but Show catches him and tosses him aside before hitting the knockout punch.

Big Show tries for the chokeslam on Taker, but the Undertaker is able to counter with Hell’s gate. Undertaker clamps down, and Big Show is forced to tap.

Winner: The Undertaker

- Josh Matthews interviews Sheamus, Drew McIntyre and The Miz backstage. Drew says tonight, everyone saw what Vince McMahon has seen all along. Sheamus talks about not being able to find competition in WWE and The Miz does his usual.

Traditional Survivor Series Match: Michelle McCool, Beth Phoenix, Layla, Alicia Fox and Jillian Hall vs. Mickie James, Gail Kim, Kelly Kelly, Eve and Melina
Out first for the next match is Michelle McCool with the rest of her Diva partners. Out next is Team Mickie with all the members in tow.
Kelly Kelly and Layla are starting things out for their respective teams. Layla takes Kelly down and pounds away at her head before trying for a quick cover. Layla hits a low dropkick to Kelly’s back and goes for another quick cover but it’s not enough to hold her down. Layla misses a kick in the cover but Kelly sells it anyways. Kelly starts to fight back, and is able to hit her step up leg drop, getting the pin and eliminating Layla. McCool is in and she pounds away at Kelly, who is forced to tag out to Kim. Kim tries for a hurricarana, but McCool turns it into the Styles Clash and eliminates Kim with a pin.

Melina sends McCool into the ropes and hits a double knee drop to her back. McCool goes for a kick but Melina ducks into a back bride to fight out of it. McCool grabs Melina by her hair though and slams her down to the mat. McCool picks Melina up, but Melina counters into a sunset flip powerbomb to put McCool’s shoulders to the mat for a three count.
Winners: Melina and Mickie James

- We go to ringside with Striker, Cole and Lawler. They replay Batista’s attack on Rey Mysterio earlier. Todd Grisham interviews Batista in the back. Batista says Rey was embarrassed tonight and Batista was embarrassed for him. Batista walks off.

WWE Title Match: Shawn Michaels vs. Triple H vs. John Cena
The DX music hits first for tonight’s main event as Shawn Michaels and Triple H come out together, as DX. They get a nice pop from the crowd. DX wait on John Cena and finally his music hits. Out comes the WWE Champion to a mixed reaction from the crowd. We get formal ring introductions as the match gets ready to begin.

HBK hits Triple H with Sweet Chin Music right off the bat and everyone is shocked.
Michaels and Cena square off with Micheals hitting a quick neckbreaker. Michaels chops away at Cena, and connects with a Thesz press. Michaels chops away at Cena in the corner, but Cena is able to fight back with a bulldog. Cena connects with a fisherman suplex, and he sends Michaels into opposite corners hard. Michaels ends up hung up on the top turnbuckle, and Cena kicks away at him, getting him right in position for the AA, but Michaels fights out into a modified DDT.

Michaels hits Cena with a chop block that puts him on his back, and he continues to work over the knee, kicking away at it, and hitting another chop block. Michaels locks in the figure four, and Cena screams in pain.

Cena is able to turn Michaels over, reversing the pressure and forcing Michaels to break the hold. Michaels and Cena trade chops and punches respectively, with Cena getting the upper hand with a shoulder block. Cena goes for another shoulder block, but Michaels side steps him and Cena flies to the outside. Michaels launches himself over the ropes and wipes out Cena with a slingshot cross body.
Michaels starts to take apart the announce table, but when he picks up Cena, Cena catches him in position for the AA. Triple H breaks it up, but Michaels turns right around into a spinebuster through the table from the Game.

HHH goes to work on Cena, sending him into the ring. Cena fights back with a couple of right hands, but he’s quick to fall victim to a spinebuster. HHH goes for the pin, but Cena kicks out at two. Triple H punches away at Cena, keeping him down on the mat, before picking him up and launching him into the corner. HHH pounds on Cena for a bit before launching him again into the opposite corner. Hunter goes for the pin again, but Cena is still able to kick out.

HHH hits a neck breaker, but it’s only good for another near fall. HHH charges Cena in the corner, but Cena gets his knees up and fights back. HHH surprises Cena with a predigree attempt out of nowhere, but Cena fights out and slingshots HHH into the corner. Cena is slow back to his feet, and he falls victim to a quick lariat from HHH, again good for a near fall.

Triple H and Cena trade blows in the middle of the ring and Cena is able to get the upper hand with dual shoulder blocks before his modified belly to back suplex. Cena hits the five knuckle shuffle before stalking Triple H for the Attitude Adjuster. Michaels breaks it up and sends Cena shoulder first into the ring post. HHH and Michaels stare each other down in the middle of the ring.

HHH sends Cena to the outside and that allows Michaels to hit a couple of inverted atomic drops and chops, but when Michaels comes off the ropes, HHH catches him with a high knee before following it up with a face buster. Michaels hits a flying forearm, and kips up, but it’s right into a spinebuster from HHH. Triple H tries for the pedigree, but Micheals counters into a backdrop.

Michaels goes to the top turnbuckle where he almost falls off before he’s crotched by John Cena. Cena goes up to a different corner, and goes for a top rope leg drop on HHH, but Triple H moves. Michaels connects with a big elbow drop, but he’s sent to the outside by Triple H. Cena locks in the STF on HHH out of nowhere in the middle of the ring.

Michaels comes in from behind and locks in the Crossface on John Cena, forcing him to break the STF. Cena stands up with Michaels on his shoulders, but Michaels battles out, only to be put into the STF.

HBK is able to make it into the ropes to force Cena to break the hold. Michaels connects with Sweet Chin Music on Cena and follows it up with another on Triple H, who lands on top of Cena. The ref starts the count, but Cena kicks out at two!

Both men are slow to get to their feet, but when they do, Cena catches Triple H with the Adjuster, but Cena looks exhausted. Michaels makes his way back into the ring, slowly, and both Cena and Michaels crawl to make the pin. Both men make the pin on Triple H but he kicks out at two.
Michaels tries for Sweet Chin Music again on Cena but he blocks. There’s a crazy series of events with everyone trying for their finisher. Michaels hits the superkick on Triple H again, and Cena connects with an Adjuster on Michaels on top of Hunter. Cena pins Triple H, gets the three, and retains the title.

Winner: John Cena

- We go to replays and the 2009 Survivor Series goes off the air with John Cena celebrating with his WWE Title on the ramp as DX tries to recover in the ring.

The show opened with a video hyping the Team Raw vs. Team Smackdown match and the supposed rivalry between the two brands… Pyro exploded on the stage to open the show. Michael Cole welcomed viewers to the show and then introduced the “Bragging Rights trophy.” Yes, they have a Bragging Rights trophy…

The Miz came to the ring. A video recapped the recent Dirt Sheet with Miz and Morrison arguing over which one of them was more like Marty Jannetty… Morrison came out and stopped dead in his tracks when he saw a middle-aged man dressed in Road Warrior gear standing in the front row. Funny…

1. John Morrison vs. The Miz in a non-title match. They lock up and Morrison with a waist lock and Miz tries to escape but Morrison continues to ride Miz. Miz makes his way to the ropes. Morrison with a double leg take down and he works on the arm. Morrison blocks a hip toss and hits a fireman’s carry for a near fall. Morrison with a side head lock and shoulder tackle. Morrison with another shoulder tackle for a near fall. Morrison with a side head lock and he backs Miz into the corner. Miz pushes Morrison on a break and then he goes to the floor. Miz with a kick and side head lock take down. Miz with a shoulder tackle but Morrison with a flap jack and a kip up. Morrison with a standing shooting star press for a near fall. Morrison with a forearm to the back but Miz with punches and kicks. Miz throws Morrison to the floor and then Miz poses in the center of the ring.

Miz tries to suplex Morrison back into the ring but Morrison blocks it and slides in and gets a near fall. Morrison with a cover but Miz with a bridge. Miz misses a knee lift and Morrison tries for the swinging neck breaker but Miz escapes. Morrison clotheslines Miz over the top rope to the floor. They return to the ring and Morrison gets a near fall. Miz sends Morrison to the floor when Morrison tries to float over on an Irish whip. Miz goes out to the floor and throws Morrison back in. They return to the ring and Miz with a knee to the back and a belly-to-back suplex for a near fall. Miz with a knee in Morrison’s back as he works on Morrison’s back. Morrison with a mule kick. Morrison with a forearm and punches. Miz with an Irish whip and he hits the running clothesline into the corner. Miz with a forearm to the back and then he hits a knee lift with Morrison’s head over the apron. Miz gets a near fall. Miz with a reverse chin lock. Morrison with a rollup for a near fall. Miz misses a charge and Morrison with another rollup. Miz with a kick to the ribs and Morrison responds. They exchange kicks and punches while the crowd boos and yays. Morrison with a series of kicks and a clothesline followed by a leg lariat for a near fall. Morrison misses the Shining Wizard and Miz with a rollup.

Morrison with another take down and he punches Miz. Morrison misses a charge into the corner. Miz misses a clothesline but Morrison does not miss the springboard spin kick and Miz gets his foot on the ropes. Miz rolls to the floor when he sees Morrison set for the moonsault. Morrison with a corkscrew pescado onto Miz. Morrison brings Miz back into the ring and gets a near fall. Morrison puts Miz on the top turnbuckle and Morrison tries for a superplex but Miz knocks Morrison off. Miz with a double sledge from the turnbuckles. Miz tries for the Skull Crushing Finale but Morrison escapes. Morrison with a side Russian leg sweep and Morrison goes up for the moonsault but Miz knocks Morrison off the turnbuckles and Miz gets the three count.

We see Team Raw, at least the male members of Team Raw celebrate while Team Smackdown is not happy.

Michael Cole reminds us of the challenge that Chris Jericho and Kane set up for the members of Team Smackdown and we see footage of their failure thanks to Finlay’s illegal shillelagh use.

Cody Rhodes is in the medical office getting ready. He says that it should be a clean sweep. R Truth enters and says that there are still two matches. Cody reminds Truth that he lost his match to qualify and then they had to get their team replaced. Cody calls Truth second rate and says that is the truth. Truth tells Cody that his daddy is the reason why he is on Raw. Randy Orton is the only reason why he has had any success. Truth tells Cody that he will be pinned tonight. Truth tells him that is the Truth and the Truth hurts.

Big Show comes up behind Truth and says that taking cheap shots shows that he learned a lot from Chris Jericho. Show tells Truth to go back to Kane, Jericho, and anyone in a blue shirt that Raw will let their actions speak.

Raw Divas vs. SmackDown Divas
WWE Divas Champion Melina, Gail Kim & Kelly Kelly vs. WWE Women’s Champion Michelle McCool, Beth Phoenix & Natayla
Beth Phoenix and Gail Kim start out things for their respective teams with Beth showing her power right off the bat. Kim is able to use her quickness to score a roll up, but she falls victim to an immediate clothesline. McCool tags in and goes to work on Kim, but she eats a hurricarana and goes back to her corner to tag in Natalya. Natalya takes down Beth with a couple of quick forearms and a big body slam, but she misses the elbow and a charge into the corner, leaving her open for a modified spear.

Kelly tags into the match and hits a big headscissors on Natalya, before getting hung up on the top rope by Natalya. Natalya goes for the pin but she can only get two. She backs Kelly up into her team’s corner before distracting the ref, allowing her teammates to work over Kelly. Kelly fights out, but McCool tags herself in and stomps away at her. McCool backs her up into the corner again and tags in Phoenix who hits a snap mare and goes for the pin, getting two. Phoenix locks in a modified chin lock, but Kelly is able to fight out, although she can’t make a tag.

McCool makes her way back in and dominates Kelly, slamming her down to the mat before hitting a big knee life. Beth tags herself in and slams Kelly’s head into the corner, but Kelly is able to hit a quick hurricana and a near fall. Kelly is finally able to make the tag to Melina who comes in and cleans house on Beth Phoenix, hitting a big dropkick and a drop toe hold into the ropes. Beth hits Melina with a suplex but Melina turns it into a roll up. McCool flips it over, but it’s only good for two.

Beth connects with an implant buster type maneuver on Melina, and pins her for the three count.

Winners: Team Smackdown

Backstage:

DX is shown backstage watching the monitor. They say that they have to win their match tonight. Swagger interrupts and says does it really matter, the team is better because they have him. Michaels says that Swagger needs to learn respect. Hunter says as a team, Raw shouldn’t even be able to get along. They talk about Mark Henry’s relationship with Mae Young, shoving McMahon into Big Show’s ass, and exposing Kingston as a fake Jamaican. HBK says if Swagger wants to walk out on the team, he can, and HBK will replace him with the first person he sees. Hornswoggle walks into the picture and Micheals says maybe not. Triple H says tonight is bigger than a match, it about honor and pride. Hunter says they have to win tonight, so he needs to know if his team is ready. Micheals puts his hand in the middle and everyone else follows. They all say Raw together, and it’s a very heartwarming moment. Kinda like the Mighty Ducks.

CM Punk vs. The Undertaker vs. Rey Mysterio vs. Batista

We get the formal introductions for everyone as they all stare each other down in their own corner of the ring.

Punk jumps Mysterio at the bell before bailing to the outside. He comes back into the ring where he forces the Undertaker to hit Batista with a clothesline. Punk pounds on Undertaker in the corner for a bit, but his advantage doesn’t last long before the Undertaker throws him over the top rope to the outside, where Mysterio hits a seated senton. Batista and Undertaker square off for a bit with Undertaker coming out on top. Undertaker then quickly dispatches Mysterio with a big boot before working over Batista’s arm. Taker connects with old school on Batista and turns his attention to Mysterio for another old school, but he gets sent down by Punk.

Punk tries for a superplex, but Taker fights him off for a bit, Punk eventually connects and Mysterio goes for a quick cover but Punk breaks it up. Batista comes back into the match, hitting a huge slam on Punk but he quickly falls victim to a big boot from Taker. Mysterio tries for a hurricarana on Taker but Taker catches him. Taker goes for the last ride but Batista connects with a spear. Mysterio goes for the cover but Taker sets him up for the chokeslam. Batista and Rey Mysterio hit a 619/spinebuster combo, but CM Punk breaks up Batista’s pin attempt.

Punk connects with a go to sleep on Mysterio but Batista breaks it up. Undertaker locks in Hell’s gate on Batista out of nowhere but CM Punk breaks it up and pounds away at Taker. Punk stomps away on Batista before connecting with his running knee in the corner on Taker. Taker holds on though and hits the last ride on Punk, but Batista breaks up the pin.

Batista and Taker square off with big right hands, Batista gets the best of it, but Taker connects with a big chokeslam out of nowhere. He goes for the pin but Punk breaks it up again. Punk picks up Taker and starts to pound away at him, but Taker goes for the chokeslam. Punk kicks away at his knees to break it up, but Taker sends Punk to the outside over the top rope. Taker signals for the tombstone and he gets Batista up, but Batista fights out and connects with the Batista bomb, but Mysterio breaks it up and goes for a cover of his own. Batista and Mysterio argue, and Batista shoves Rey down to the outside. Undertaker connects with a chokeslam on Batista and he goes for the pin but Batista kicks out.

Taker goes for another chokeslam but Batista fights out and both men his simultaneous clotheslines. Punk sneaks in and goes for a pin on both men but both kick out at two. Punk gets frustrated and allows for time for Batista to send him to the outside. Batista catches Mysterio and he throws his to the outside on top of Punk. Batista turns around straight into a tombstone from Taker. Taker pins Batista and the ref counts three.

Winner and STILL World Heavyweight Champion: The Undertaker

After the match, Josh Matthews is in the ring and he asks Mysterio how it feels to come so close to winning the World Championship. Mysterio says that he and Batista did their best to help each other out, he apologizes to Batista and gives him a hug. Mysterio says they were both close, but it didn’t work out tonight. Matthews asked at what point he felt the match slip away from him. Mysterio says whatever happened happened and tomorrow is another day.

Matthews asks Batista how he’s feeling. Batista asks Rey and the fans if they think they were close. Batista says he doesn’t think they were close, he thinks he was close, and that he’s tired of coming this close. He also says he thinks he’s tired of his best friend stabbing him in the back. Batista says he’s not playing, he says he’s going to rip his head off.

Batista drops the mic and stares down Mysterio before hitting a nasty lariat. Batista sends Rey out to the floor, where he follows stomping away and screaming at him. Batista screams in Rey’s face while Mysterio pleads with him to stop. Batista launches Mysterio into the ringside barricade and the ref is in to stop things. Batista attacks quickly again with another vicious clothesline and he leaves Rey laid out.

14-Man Raw vs. SmackDown Tag Team Match
Team Raw (Triple H, Shanw Michaels, Big Show, Cody Rhodes, Jack Swagger, Kofi Kingston & Mark Henry) vs. Team SmackDown (Chris Jericho, Kane, R-Truth, Matt Hardy, Tyson Kidd, David Hard Smith & Finlay)

DX’s music hits and Hunter and Shawn make their way out to the ring first for their team. to a huge pop from the crowd. The Raw music hits and the rest of the team make their way out to the ring.

Chris Jericho’s music hits and he makes his way to the bottom of the ramp where he waits for his co-captain Kane. One major difference between Team Raw and Team Smackdown is that at least the captains of Team Smackdown are wearing their shirts prominently. Smackdown’s music hits and the rest of the team makes their way down the ramp.

All 14 men square off in the ring and the referee holds the Bragging Rights trophy high. Cody Rhodes and R-Truth are going to start things off for their respective teams. Cody hits Truth with a quick kick and it quickly devolves into a fight. Truth hits a big back kick, but he gets caught with a big back elbow and Rhodes and Truth fight on the ground for a bit. Big Show tags in.

Kane tags in for Smackdown and the big men square off. Kane starts things off with some strikes and a kick, he avoids a Big Show splash in the corner and hits a lariat, but he falls victim to a big shoulder block and a leg drop from Show. Show tags in Swagger who comes in and works over Kane while talking smack. Kane comes back with a big right hand and tags in Matt Hardy. Hardy comes in and smashes Swagger’s head into the turnbuckle and hitting a big lariat. Hardy tries for a suplex but Swagger fights out. Hardy pulls Swagger’s shirt up and pounds away at him, hitting a big boot and following it up with a second rop leg drop.

Swagger bails to the floor and Hardy follows hitting a big lariat. all 14 men square off on the floor and the ref tries to keep things separate. Hardy and Swagger make their way back into the ring where Swagger works over Hardy’s arm with a single arm DDT. Swagger tags in Henry, who comes in and pounds on Hardy in the corner before continuing to work over Hardy’s arm. Henry hits a big head butt on Hardy, but when he tries for an elbow drop, Hardy rolls out of the way. Hardy can’t make the tag though before Henry flings him back across the ring and tags in Michaels.

Michaels chops away at Hardy before sending him into the corner. HBK sends Hardy into the ropes, but he falls victim to a kick and a side effect from Hardy. Hardy makes his way to his corner and tags in Finlay who comes in and quickly slams Michaels down to the mat. Michaels fights back though, but not for long as Finlay sends him hard into the corner. Finlay connects with a short arm clothesling and a quick European uppercut before pounding away at HBK in the corner. Micheals sends Finlay into the corner but Finlay turns around and both men crack heads and go down.

Both men get to their feet at the same time, but HBK hits sweet chin music. Smith makes a blind tag and they hit the Hart attack and go for a quick pin but HBK kicks out. Smith tags in Jericho who smirks and throws his shirt in Michaels’ face. Jericho locks in a modified sleeper but HBK is quick to fight back. He fights his way out of the hold and he rolls up Jericho, but he falls victim to a quick lariat.

Jericho stomps on Micheals and tags in Kane who comes in and hits a low kick to HBK’s face. Kane goes for the pin but Micheals kicks out at two. Kane punches Michaels in the face before tagging in Smith, who locks in a sleeper. The crowd gets behind Micheals, who makes his way to his eet and fights out of the hold, but Smith quickly retaliates with a side belly to back suplex, which is good for another near fall. Smith slams Michaels down and tags in Kidd, who goes for a springboard elbow drop, but he misses. Michaels is able to make the tag to HHH who comes in and cleans house on the Hart Dynasty and Finlay with a couple of big spinebusters. He turns right around though into a big chokeslam from Kane.

Kidd pins Hunter, but Triple H kicks out at two. Both men go for their corners. Kidd tags in Jericho who comes in and hits a bull dog on Hunter. Jericho goes for a lionsault but Hunter rolls out of the way. Hunter tags in Kingston who comes in and works over Jericho with a big dropkick, lariat and boom drop. Jericho blocks the boom drop though and almost locks in the walls of Jericho but Kofi fights out and is able to connect with trouble in paradise. The Hart Dynasty comes in to break up the pin and things begin to break down. All 14 men are fighting. Swagger hits his gut-wrench powerbomb, but he falls victim to a big boot from Kane, who falls victim to a spear from Big Show.

Kofi goes up top and Big Show grabs him by the throat and hits a big chokeslam. Show hits the knockout punch on Hunter and leaves the ring. Jericho pins Kingston, and gets the win for his team.

Winners: Team Smackdown

Randy Orton (c) vs. John Cena
Cena and Orton and lock up, Cena goes for an arm bar and turns it into a side headlock. Orton backs Cena up into the corner where he fights out of the hold and pounds down on Cena. Orton locks in a side headlock of his own, taking Cena down to the mat. Cena is quick to fight out, sending Orton into the ropes. Cena hits a big hip toss, but he’s sent into the corner by Orton.

Orton stomps away at Cena in the corner, but he takes too much time and he’s sent into the opposite corner by Cena. Cena goes for a bull dog but Orton launches him across the ring instead. Orton stomps away at Cena on the mat before rearing back and punching him square in the face. Orton takes his time and stares at Cena for a little while, which leads to him falling victim to the STF. Orton taps out quickly, and the first fall goes to Cena.

Orton – 0 : Cena – 1

Both men square off with right hands and Orton gets the advantage with a scoop slam. Orton kicks at Cena’s shoulder before blatantly choking him. Orton continues to wear down Cena, stomping away at him. Orton sends Cena to the apron and suplexes him back into the ring. He goes for the pin, but Cena is able to kick out at two. Orton locks in a rear chin lock and takes Cena down to the mat.

Cena is able to get back to his feet, but Orton clamps down and Cena alls back to the mat. Cena looks to be fading, but he once again is able to make his way back to his feet. Cena fights out of the hold this time, and he’s able to kick Orton in the midsection and hit a quick blockbuster. Cena goes up to the top rope and connects with the leg drop to the back of Orton’s neck. Cena goes for the five knuckle shuffle, but when he turns around he’s surprised by an RKO from Orton. Orton pins Cena and gets the three.

Orton sends Cena to the floor and he follows out. Orton slams Cena’s head into the steel stairs before dragging him over to the announce table area. He slams Cena’s head into the apron and begins disassembling the announce table. Orton grabs a monitor and he whacks Cena in the skull. Orton goes for the pin but Cena kicks out.

Orton sends Cena back into the ring and he goes for a mic. Orton hits Cena square in the head and he goes for another pin but Cena is able to kick out again. Cena is actually busted open on the top of his head and Orton punches away at the wound. The ref tries to get the medic to check out Cena’s cut and they stop the clock, but Cena attacks Orton and the clock starts again. Cena launches Orton over the top rope and to the floor. He follows out and slams Ortons head into the steel stairs, but Orton is able to reverse an Irish whip and send Cena into the stairs. Orton goes for the cover but Cena kicks out.

Orton puts Cena’s head on the stairs and stomps on it. He goes for the pin again, but Cena is able to kick out at two. Orton rolls Cena back into the ring where he continues to pound away at the top of Cena’s head.

Orton starts to stalk Cena and looks to be setting up for the RKO,but when he goes for it, Cena pushes him off and hits a duo of shoulder blocks and a side belly to back suplex. Cena fires himself up and connects with the five knuckle shuffle. Cena goes for the AA, but Orton counters into the RKO. Both men’s shoulders are down and both have an arm across each other, and the ref counts three for both men.

Orton – 2 : Cena – 2

The medics continue to check on Cena and he tries to wave them off, but they insist on toweling the blood of Cena’s head. Orton charges Cena when the match starts again but Cena avoids it and Orton’s shoulder connects with the steel ring post. Cena puts Orton on the top turnbuckle and he looks to be going for a second rope AA, he connects, and both men are down. Cena is able to cover Orton, and the ref counts to three.

Orton – 2 : Cena – 3

Legacy run down to the ring where they assault John Cena, beating him down. Dibiase connects with the dream street and the drag Orton on top of Cena. The ref counts three and that’s another fall. Kofi Kingston runs down to the ring with a chair and chases off Legacy.

Orton – 3 : Cena – 3

Cena starts the next fall off with a quick high knee and both men are down. Cena takes Orton down to the mat and he starts to pound on him but Orton bails to the floor. Cena follows out and he slams Orton’s head into the guardrail. Cena and Orton fight up the ramp, with Cena throwing right hands all the way. Cena sends Orton into another guard rail on the other side of the ramp, but the third time Cena tries, Orton counters and sends Cena in instead.

Orton goes for a pin but Cena is able to kick out at two. Both men fight over into the tech area. Orton slams Cena’s head into some controls and some of the pyro on the entrance ramp goes off. Orton sends Cena into some of the set lighting and there’s a big hokey explosion. Orton pulls Cena back out and goes for the cover, the ref counts to three.

Orton – 4 : Cena – 3

Orton goes back over to the pyro controls and he starts pressing random buttons. He follows Cena to the top of the stage, but he grabs a chair first, making sure to whack Cena upon catching up to him. Orton drags Cena over the pyro strip, and goes back to the controls. Orton presses down on the button, but it doesn’t work, so he slams down on the controls and sets off a whole load of other pyro.

Cena apparently rolled out of the way of the pyro and Orton is livid. Orton pounds on Cena and beats him back down the ramp, stopping at the half-way point to pound on the top of Cena’s head. Orton hits a big European uppercut and pounds on Cena. Orton launches Cena into the steel ring steps with an Irish whip.

Cena makes his way to his feet, but Orton sends him right back down with another punch. Orton picks up some of the stairs and he throws them straight at Cena’s head. Cena’s able to get his hands up though, and when Orton goes for the pin, Cena is able to kick out at two. Orton looks to be getting frustrated.

Orton punches away at Cena, putting him down on the ground and trying to wear away at Cena. Orton grabs another chair and he whacks Cena across the back. Orton goes for a pin but Cena is able to kick out at one. Orton sends Cena back into the ring. Orton picks Cena up, but Cena is able to lock in a small package. Orton won’t break for the interval and he pounds away at Cena instead. The ref is able to break it up and Orton bails to the outside.

Orton – 4 : Cena – 4

Orton throws a tantrum on the outside, but he’s slow to start at the next fall. He stalks Cena from the outside, pulling him toward the ring apron. Orton gets Cena in DDT position, and he sends Cena crashing down headfirst to the floor. Orton pins Cena and the ref counts to three.

Orton – 5 : Cena – 4

Orton goes for another pin, but Cena is able to kick out at two. Orton picks Cena up and sends him back into the ring. Orton stomps away at Cena’s limbs, working him over methodically. Orton locks in a chin lock and pounds on Cena’s chest. He goes for a cover but Cena kicks out at two. Orton hits Cena with another big right hand and Cena falls to his back. Orton goes for a pin but Cena is able to kick out again.

Cena makes his way back to his feet where Orton is waiting behind him. Orton his yet another big right hand and he goes for the pin, but Cena kicks out at two. Orton goes for another big punch, but Cena ducks it and connects with a right hand of his own. Orton bails to the floor and goes all the way up to the top of the entrance ramp.

Cena follows Orton up the ramp and they meet at the top where Orton kicks Cena and works him over with punches and kicks. Cena is able to fight back and Orton walks back down the ramp and into the ring.

Cena makes his way back down to the ring, but when he slides into the ring, Orton beats down on him. Orton continues to wear down Cena with some nasty stomps. Cena rolls out to the apron, and Randy Orton sets him up for the rope assisted DDT, but Cena fights out and goes for the AA. Orton fights out of that and bails out into the crowd.

Cena follows Orton all the way to the top of the stairs of a section and he connects with a garbage can shot. Cena sends Orton head first into a wall, and he stomps away at Orton. Cena punches Orton and Orton stumbles down the stairs away from Cena. Orton and Cena slowly make their way back to the ringside area, but the continue to fight in the crowd for a bit. Cena sends Orton back over the guard rail with a hip toss and he goes for a pin, but Orton kicks out at two.

Cena sends Orton head first into some steel stairs and goes for the cover, but Orton is able to kick out again. Cena beats Orton around the ring and sends him into one of the ringside barricades.

Cena sends Orton into the barricade again and Orton is down on the ground. Cena picks Orton up, and he sends him through one of the barricades, just absolutely launching Orton.

Orton’s head. Cena hangs on to the stairs, setting them on top of the other stairs he already put next to the table.

Cena dead lifts Orton up into body slam position and quickly tosses him up on his shoulders into AA position. Cena climbs the stairs that he just set up and hits the AA on Orton through the announce table and the crowd goes nuts. Cena pins Orton and the ref counts three.

Orton – 5 : Cena – 5

Cena goes for another pin as soon as possible, but Orton is able to kick out at two and Cena looks shocked. Cena begins looking under the ring and he grabs a table. Cena slides the table into the ring, where he sets it up in the middle of the ring.

Cena picks Orton up to his feet, but Orton can’t stand. Cena carries Orton and rolls him back into the ring. Cena lays Orton down on the table. Cena goes up to the top rope and he dives off with a leg drop, but Orton is able to roll out of the way and Cena crashes through the table.

Both men are very slow to get up. Orton punches Cena from his knees, and Cena retaliates. They continue to trade punches, but both seem exhausted. Both men are back to their feet, and they continue to punch away at each other.

Cena gets in a flurry of strikes and he connects with one shoulder block, but when he goes for another he connects with the ref. Cena is distracted and when he turns around Orton hits a big RKO. Orton calls another ref down and he goes for the cover but Cena kicks out at two.

Orton is upset and he attacks the other ref, sending him down to the mat. Orton appears to be extremely upset. Orton backs up and sets up for the punt, but Cena avoids it and is able to counter with the STF. Orton tries to make it to the ropes and he looks up at the scoreboard.

Orton is finally forced to tap with four seconds on the clock and John Cena ekes out another fall.

Cena poses with the title for a bit in the ring and the announcer recap some of the bigger spots in the match. Cena makes his way to the top of the ramp, and walks out tall with the title over his shoulder. The PPV ends with Orton shown recovering in the ring.

WWE’s first-ever Hell in a Cell pay-per-view opens up with a video package hyping the Cell matches. We go to the arena as the pyro explodes and Michael Cole welcomes us to the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey. We see the massive Cell structure hanging above the ring. Cole and Jerry Lawler hype the RAW brand matches before we go to Jim Ross and Todd Grisham for hype on the SmackDown matches tonight.

Hell in a Cell for the World Heavyweight Title: CM Punk vs. The Undertaker

Tonight’s first match will be inside the Cell for the World Heavyweight Title. We get a long video package showing events leading to this match and then the Cell is lowered over the ring. Out first is the World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk.

Punk comes out to some boo’s and enters the Cell for the first time. The bells toll and out comes The Undertaker with his grand entrance. Taker finally enters the Cell and slams the door shut behind him as we get ready to start the match.

Punk tries to stay away from the Undertaker at the outset of the match, hitting him with a couple of quick strikes before bailing to the floor. Undertaker follows Punk to the outside and sends him into the cage multiple times, sending him crashing headfirst into the cell wall. Undertaker props Punk up in the corner of the cell and pounds on him for a little bit before sending him head first into the cage yet again.

Taker sends Punk back into the ring, but things spill outside again when Undertaker boots Punk off the apron into the cell wall. On the floor, Taker goes after Punk, but Punk dropkicks the steel stairs into Taker’s knees, sending him down. Punk continues to work over Taker’s legs, stomping away. The crowd starts a dueling Undertaker/CM Punk chant as Punk tries to wrap Taker’s leg around the ring post. Taker fights out though, and Punk and Taker fight on the apron. Punk hits the running knee, but when he tries for the bulldog off the apron, Taker holds on and shoves Punk into the cage.

Taker hits the big leg drop on the apron and both men are on the floor again. Taker rolls Punk back in the ring and attempts to follow, but Punk kicks Taker back into the cage wall and follows after him with a suicide dive and both men are down.

Punk is first to his feet and he quickly sends Undertaker back into the ring. Punk and Taker fight each other while on their knees, neither man gaining a true advantage. When they make their way back to their feet, Taker gets the advantage with a couple of quick punches and he tries for the Tombstone, but Punk fights out. Taker continues to dominate Punk and even scores a near fall, but he can’t keep Punk down. Taker tries for the chokeslam, but Punk targets the knee again and tries for the G2S, Taker counters into tombstone position, but Punk counters out and attacks the legs yet again.

Punk goes under the ring and grabs a chair, back in the ring he swings for the fences and cracks Taker over the head. Punk goes for the pin but he can only get a two count. Undertaker pulls himself up in the corner just in time to get caught with a running knee, but Taker holds on to Punk and hits him with a big Last Ride, but Punk kicks out!

Taker picks Punk off the mat and goes for Old School, but Punk catches Taker with a kick as he comes off the top rope. Punk goes for a quick set of pins, but he can’t keep Taker down for more than two. Punk looks to be getting frustrated as he goes for the steel chair. Punk charges Taker in the corner, but Taker gets his boot up and sends the chair back into Punk. Taker hits a big chokeslam and signals for the tombstone. Taker connects with the tombstone, pins Punk, and we have a new World Heavyweight Champion.

Winner and New WWE Heavyweight Champion: The Undertaker

- After the match, the Cell is lifted back up and the lights go out as The Undertaker celebrates with his World Heavyweight Title. Jim Ross says this is the first time the World Title has switched hands inside the Cell.

WWE Intercontinental Title Match: Dolph Ziggler vs. John Morrison

We go right to the next match and it’s for the WWE Intercontinental Title. Out first is the Champion, John Morrison to a nice pop. Out next is the challenger Dolph Ziggler.

Both guys talk trash to each other before locking up. Morrison takes Ziggler to the mat and the two start some serious ground wrestling, trying to tie each other up with various pins and submissions. Ziggler makes his way to the ropes, causing a break, and both men are back to their feet.

Ziggler catches Morrison with a punch to the face, and he takes him down to the mat, locking in a front face lock. Morrison makes his way back to his feet and sends Ziggler into the ropes, but he quickly falls victim to a shoulder block, it’s not long before Morrison comes back with a beautiful dropkick though. Morrison hits his break-dance-y leg drop before locking in a modified sleeper.

Ziggler fights back and locks in a sleeper of his own, taking Morrison down to the mat and applying pressure. Morrison tries to fight out, but Ziggler takes him back down to the mat and switches things up into a front face lock.

Morrison finally fights out before tripping up Ziggler and hitting a big springboard cross body. Morrison goes for the Star Ship Pain, but Ziggler moves out of the way and goes for a quick cover. Morrison kicks out at two, and Ziggler goes for his high impact elbow drop.

Ziggler locks in another modified sleeper, but Morrison fights out and catches Ziggler with a big European uppercut. Morrison tries to follow up, but Ziggler hits him with a power slam and a quick running neckbreaker. Ziggler chokes Morrison on the bottom rope, using the five count to his advantage. Ziggler sends Morrison into the corner and follows up with a big splash. Ziggler tries for another pin, but he can’t keep Morrison down. Ziggler starts to get a bit frustrated and pounds away on Morrison, but he still can’t keep John Morrison down for the three.

Ziggler hits a couple of impressive fireman’s carry takeovers, but while going for a big move, Morrison counters into a DDT and both men are down. They get to their feet at about the same time and square off with punches, with Morrison getting the advantage. Morrison hits a big standing shooting star press, but again, it’s not enough to keep Ziggler down. Ziggler rolls up Morrison and grabs the ropes but the ref sees it and doesn’t allow it. Morrison gets a roll up of his own, but can’t hold Ziggler down.

Morrison and Ziggler duke it out on the top turnbuckle. Morrison jumps off the top rope, and Ziggler tries for something, but Morrison grabs his legs instead and catapaults him into the corner turnbuckle. Morrison goes for his springboard kick, but he misses and Ziggler hits a big German suplex for a quick near fall.

Ziggler is up first and he hits a big rocker dropper, but again it’s only good for a near fall. Ziggler charges Morrison in the corner, but Morrison gets his feet up. Morrison goes for Star Ship Pain, but Ziggler sees it coming and launches Morrison across the ring instead. Ziggler tries for the Zig Zag, but Morrison holds on to the ropes and hits Ziggler with a big kick to the head. Morrison follows up with his finisher, Star Ship Pain, and pins Ziggler for the three.

Winner: John Morrison

- Josh Matthews is backstage with Batista and Matthews tries to introduce his partner, but Batista interrupts and introduces Mysterio himself. Matthews asks the two men if they will be able to re-create the magic from a couple of years ago when they won the tag titles. Mysterio says they’re not re-creating anything, they’re reuniting. Mysterio says a few months ago, Jericho tried to take away his make, but tonight, he and Batista can and will take away the Unified Tag Team Titles. Batista says JeriShow says they’re the greatest tag team in history, but they’ve never beat Batista and Mysterio. Tonight, Batista says we’ll see new Tag Team Champs.

- We see some Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles in the crowd dancing before we go to a preview of their new video game, which is sponsoring the pay-per-view tonight.

WWE Divas Title Match: Mickie James vs. Alicia Fox

The next match is for the WWE Divas Title and out first comes the challenger, Alicia Fox. Mickie James is out next to a nice pop from the crowd.

Alicia goes to work on Mickie’s arm, but James counters out with a cartwheel and a leg sweep. James in tuen goes to work on Fox’s arm, hitting Fox with a monkey flip when she tries to counter out. Mickie hits a snap mare and follows it up with a low dropkick that’s only good for a one count.

Mickie hits a neckbreaker and goes up to the top rope, but Fox is right there, sweeping her off the second turnbuckle and down to the mat. Fox pulls Mickie’s hair and uses as much of the five count as she can. Mickie tries to fight back, but Fox hits a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker before locking in a body scissors.

Mickie connect with a couple of big forearms to Fox’s head and begins to mount her comeback. Fox charges James in the corner, but Mickie stops her and hits a hurricarana. Mickie goes back to the top and hits a Thesz press. Mickie tries for a DDT, but Fox fights back and counters with a Northern Lights suplex. Fox goes for the scissors kick, but she misses and Mickie connects with her big DDT. James pins Fox, and gets the three count.

WWE Unified Tag Team Title Match: Big Show and Chris Jericho vs. Batista and Rey Mysterio

Out first for the next match are the WWE Tag Team Champions, Chris Jericho and Big Show. They make their way to the ring before Batista is out next and his partner, the returning Rey Mysterio.

Mysterio and Jericho start things out for their teams, with Jericho getting the advantage right off the bat. When Jericho sends Mysterio into the ropes though, he caught with an arm drag and monkey flip. Mysterio goes for the 619 early, but Jericho moves and Rey connects with a standing Lionsault instead. Batista tags in and immediately begins pounding on Jericho.

Batista doesn’t stay in the ring long, just long enough to hit a couple of shoulder blocks in the corner, and tag Mysterio back in. Mysterio comes in, hits a quick flurry of offense, and tags right back out to Batista who comes in and hits Jericho with a big suplex. Batista and Mysterio connect with an impressive double team splash, with Mysterio leaping off Batista’s shoulders. Jericho finally makes the tag, and it’s Mysterio and Show.

Mysterio goes after the Big Show’s legs, but Show picks up Mysterio by the next and sends him to the mat. Big Show steps on Mysterio’s stomach, and sends him to the floor with a big chop to the chest while Mysterio sits on the top turnbuckle.

Show brings Mysterio back into the ring, from the ring floor, with one hand, and takes Mysterio down to the mat. Jericho tags back into the match and he slingshots Mysterio between the bottom two ropes. Mysterio locks in a modified half nelson, but Mysterio fights out and connects with an enzugiri. Mysterio tries for another 619, but it’s a trap by Jericho, who hits Mysterio with a big lariat.

Mysterio and Jericho go up to the top turnbuckle, where Jericho goes for Mysterio’s mask, but Mysterio fights out, sends Jericho to the mat, and follows up with a sit down senton. Mysterio tags in Batista, who comes in a cleans house on Jericho before sending Big Show down to the floor. Jericho tries for a crossbody, but Batista catches him. Jericho fights out but immediately falls victim to a spear. Batista teases the bomb, but Big Show makes his way into the ring. Batista sends Jericho into Show and follows up with a spinebuster, but it’s only good for two. Show distracts Batista and Jericho hits a code breaker, but again, it’s only good for a near fall.

Jericho tags out to Big Show who comes in and starts stomping away at Batista. Big Show tries for a leg drop, but Batista rolls out of the way. Both men make their way to their feet and Batista hits Show with a couple of right hands. Show connects with a choke slam out of nowhere, but Mysterio breaks up the pin attempt with a springboard splash.

Jericho tags back in and tries for a lionsault, but Batista rolls out of the way. Batista makes the hot tag, and Jericho tags in Show. Mysterio uses his speed to try and take Big Show off his feet. Mysterio stands on the top rope and hits a big time DDT, but he can’t keep Big Show down for the three. Mysterio sends Show to the outside with a low bridge and sets up Jericho for the 619. Jericho moves and Mysterio connects with Show. Mysterio back drops Jericho on top of show and Batista hits both men with a big spear. Show makes his way back in the ring where he’s caught with a 619, but when Mysterio comes off the top rope, Show connects with a big right hand. Show pins Mysterio for the win.

- We get a long video package showing events leading to tonight’s Hell in a Cell match between Randy Orton and John Cena for the WWE Title.

Hell in a Cell for the WWE Title: John Cena vs. Randy Orton

The Cell has been lowered over the ring and Voices starts playing as Randy Orton makes his way out to the ring. Orton enters the Cell and out comes WWE Champion John Cena to a mixed reaction. Center enters the Cell for the first time ever on pay-per-view. The bell rings and we get formal introductions.

Cena and Orton start things out with punches, and Orton immediately bails to the floor to try and escape the cell. Back in the ring, Orton catches Cena off guard and stomps away at him.

Cena fights back and tries for the AA, but Orton fights out and connects with a scoop slam for a quick near fall. Cena starts to fights back with rights hands, and hits a shoulder block, but he goes to the well once too often and when he tries again, Orton ducks and Cena crashes and burns. Cena pulls himself up on the apron and Orton quickly launches him off into the cell wall.

Orton grinds Cena’s face into the cell, burying his knee in Cena’s back and pushing his face into the cell wall. Orton tries to send Cena face first into the cage, but Cena fights back and picks Orton up in scoop slam position. Cena slams Orton into the cage twice, shoulders Orton and tries to ram him into the cage, but Orton fights out and pushes Cena into the steel stairs. Orton stomps at Cena’s wrist while it’s on the stairs before doing the same with Cena’s head.

Orton picks up stairs and throws them into the ring (although they almost fall back on his head). Orton climbs in the ring, and positions the stairs. Cena climbs to the apron and Orton grabs him for the rope assisted DDT on to the stiars. Cena counters thought, by putting his hands down, and he sends Orton to the floor with a back body drop over the ropes. Cena picks up the stairs and throws them over the ropes at Orton, but Orton ducks out of the way and the stairs connects with the cell. Back in the ring, Cena tries to maintain his advantage, but he quickly falls victim to the Orton backbreaker.

Orton charges Cena in the corner, but Cena gets his boot up. Cena connects with a couple of shoulder blocks and a side belly to back suplex before going for the five knuckle shuffle. Cena goes for the AA, but Orton grabs the ropes and reverses. Orton climbs back in the ring and hits the rope assisted DDT and both men are down.

Orton tries for a cover, but Cena kicks out at two. Orton begins his RKO set-up of pounding his fists on the mat. Orton tries for the RKO, but Cena counters straight into the AA. Cena goes for the pin, but Orton kicks out. Cena puts Orton on the top turnbuckle, and he goes for a top rope AA, but Orton counters with an electric chair drop instead. Orton tries for a cover, but again Cena kicks out at two. Orton punches at Cena, who’s standing on the apron, before slamming his head into the turnbuckle. Orton pulls Cena up to the top turnbuckle and tries for the superplex, but Cena fights it off. We get a Greco-Roman knuckle lock on the top rope and Cena gets the advantage. Cena tries for a top rope rocker dropper, but Orton moves out of the way and Cena crashes and burns yet again.

Orton goes under the ring to grab a chair and he slowly makes his way back into the ring. Cena jams the chair down into the back of Cena’s neck before rolling him over and hitting the front of Cena’s neck. Orton goes for another pin, but he only scores a near fall.

Orton tries for a chair assisted knee drop, but Cena moves and Orton connects with the chair. Cena locks in the STF, and even though Orton makes it to the ropes, Cena isn’t forced to break the hold. Orton eventually works his way out of the hold by crawling under the bottom rope. Orton launches Cena into the ref, and Cena locks in another STF. Orton taps, but the official is still out, so he can’t make the call. Cena tries to revive the ref, but he turns around right into an RKO, but Cena kicks out at two.

Orton traps Cena’s arms in the ropes, and Orton locks in a sleeper hold. Cena looks to be fading quickly, and he looks to be out when Orton releases the hold. The ref helps Cena out of the ropes, but Cena just falls face first to the mat. Orton punts Cena in the side of the head, and he covers Cena for the three count. Too bad the punt kick was a huge botch.

Winner and New WWE Champion: Randy Orton

- After the match, Randy Orton takes his WWE Title belt up the ramp and stares back at the ring while John Cena tries to get to his feet. Cole and Lawler try to say Orton didn’t have all the power in that leg for the punt and it’s a good thing he didn’t or John Cena wouldn’t be standing right now. We go to a WWE DVD promo.

- Josh Matthews is backstage with R-Truth, he talks about Truth’s recent feud with Drew McIntyre. Truth says life and opportunities is what you make of them. Truth says he’s been disrespected by McIntyre one time too many. Truth says he’s been fighting all his life, and he’s about to give Drew McIntyre what he’s earned.

R-Truth is out first for this next match, rapping and dancing for the crowd. Out next is Drew McIntyre in his WWE pay-per-view debut. Jim Ross notes that Drew was personally signed by Vince McMahon.

The two men lock up. McIntyre takes Truth over with a headlock, but he quickly falls victim to a dropkick from Truth. Truth connects with a big hip toss, but it’s only good for a near fall.

Truth and McIntyre fight in the corner, but back in the middle of the ring, McIntyre gets the advantage, mounting Truth and wailing away at him. McIntyre locks in a modified face lock and the ref asks Truth if he wants to give it up.

Truth and McIntyre collide in the middle of the ring when both men go for cross body blocks at the same time. McIntyre charges Truth, but truth grabs the leg and takes McIntyre down. Truth hits a big scissors kick, which is good for another near fall. Truth tries for the axe kick, but McIntyre dodges it.

- Randy Orton is shown with his title and Legacy comes up to him. Ted says that that was a classic match. Cody says that tonight they’ll all have to go out and celebrate their victories. Orton says that this is Hell in a Cell and whether you win or lose, you don’t just walk away. Ted says they know what they’re getting into, they’re younger and hungrier than DX. Cody says Orton is starting to sound like his old man. Orton says they’re cocky, but they have no idea what they’re getting into. Orton says that he’s not Cody’s old man, he’s the WWE Champion, and if he has something to say, Legacy should listen. Ted says Orton shouldn’t underestimate them.

WWE United States Title Triple Threat: Kofi Kingston vs. The Miz vs. Jack Swagger

The Miz is out first for this match. He takes the mic and says he will be United States Champion tonight and cuts a promo ripping on the city of Newark. He asks the mayor to ban him from the city forever. Out next is the other challenger, Jack Swagger, followed by the WWE US Champion Kofi Kingston to a nice pop.

The heels look to gang up on Kingston to start things out, but Kingston fights them both off at the beginning. It’s not long though, before Swagger catches Kofi with a lariat to the back of the head and the heels team up, stomping away at Kingston.

Miz and Swagger connect with a big double suplex, and Miz goes for the pin, breaking down the team dynamic a little bit. Miz and Swagger continue to double teamm Kingston, sending him into the corner with a double Irish whip. Miz and Swagger go for another double team move, but it’s just a trap by the Miz as he wails away on Swagger. Miz begins his assault on both Swagger and Kofi, looking fairly dominant.

Kingston is the first to fight back against Miz, and the two fight on the top rope. Miz tries for a suplerplex, but Swagger gets him in electric chair position and Kingston hits a cross body. Kingston and Swagger fight in the corner, with Swagger getting the upper hand when he hot shots Kingston on the top turnbuckle. Swagger sends Kingston into the Miz and tries for a pin, but Miz breaks it up.

Swagger ties Miz up in a tree of woe, which Miz gets out of just in time to be caught with a back suplex from the second rope. Swagger hits a Vader bomb on Miz, but it’s only good for a near fall. Kingston hits Swagger with a flurry of moves before hitting the boom drop. Miz connects with his finisher on Kingston, but Swagger gets Kingston’s foot on the ropes to break things up. Swagger connects with a lariat on Kofi and a gut wrench powerbomb on Miz. Kingston hits trouble in paradise on Swagger, pins Miz, and gets the win.

Winner: Kofi Kingston

Hell in a Cell Tag Team Match: DX vs. Legacy

The Cell is lowered over the ring and we cut to a video before DX makes their way to the ring first. Nice pop from the crowd. Before DX can make it into the Cell, Legacy attacks them from behind. Ted and Cody begin the beatdown of DX outside the Cell.

HHH clotheslines Ted over the RAW announce table and DX mounts their comeback against Cody Rhodes. Hunter clocks Cody with the monitor and DX hits a double suplex on Rhodes on to the SmackDown announce table (it doesn’t break). Ted is back in the match and he attacks Hunter out of nowhere, throwing him into the crowd.

Ted suplexes Hunter back to the ringside area just as HBK throws Cody into the barricade. Cody and HBK brawl out into the crowd, but it’s not long before HBK back body drops Rhodes back to the ringside area. Rhodes grabs the chain from the door lock and hits Michaels in the knee before running up the ramp and hitting Hunter with the chain. Cody and Ted hit Hunter with a double DDT on the entrance ramp. Rhodes connects with cross Rhodes on Hunter on the ramp and Legacy makes their way back down toward HBK. Ted and Cody double team HBK, slamming his leg in the cell door.

Legacy lock themselves in the cage with Michaels while HHH is still prone at the top of the ramp. The bell rings and this one has officially started. HBK finally realizes that he’s locked in the cage with Legacy. Legacy continue to work over Michaels, hitting a chop block/shoulder block combo. but Michaels will not stay down.

HBK grabs a chair from under the ring and throws it at Cody, but Ted is quick to the rescue, slamming HBK’s head into the cell. Cody slingshots HBK into the Cell, and Triple H has finally made his way down to the Cell. Michaels fights back against Legacy, but only for a second, as the double team advantage is just too much to handle. Hunter tries to find a way in, and HBK sends Ted into Cody, launching Cody into the Cell wall.

Legacy takes Michaels down with a well placed chair shot. Hunter grabs a chair and tries to wail away on the door lock, while Cody powerbombs HBK into the cell wall. Ted then gets HBK in powerbomb position and slams him into the other side of the cage. Hunter looks at HBK and walks up the ramp to the back. Legacy continue to taunt and work over Michaels.

Cody and Ted work over HBK’s back, sending him crashing into the cell wall multiple times. Legacy sends Michaels back into the ring where they stalk HBK. Michaels starts to fight back yet again, catching both Cody and Ted with right hands before Ted takes him down with a lariat. Rhodes stands up HBK with a chair in front of his face and DiBiase hits a big dropkick.

Rhodes and DiBiase lock in the same ring post assisted Figure Four/Million Dollar Dream submission that won them Breaking Point, and Triple H finally makes his way back to the ring with bolt cutters. Hunter is in the cage just as Ted hits the Dream Street. Hunter comes in and immediately begins to clean house on Legacy, connecting with a facebreaker on Ted before throwing Cody into his partner. Hunter hits a spinebuster on Cody and tries for the pedigree, but Dibiase is quick to break it up. HBK is back in it, back body dropping Ted out to the floor.

Hunter grabs the chain from the ref and wraps it around his fist. Michaels holds up Ted and Hunter lays into him with a big right hand. Hunter connects with a Pedigree to DiBiase on the floor and HBK drags Ted out of the Cell. Hunter and HBK make their way back into the cell with the bolt cutters and lock the door behind them. Hunter hits a big spinebuster on Cody. Hunter traps Cody’s neck in a folding chair and Michaels connects with a top rope elbow drop.

Triple H goes under the ring and grabs the sledgehammer while HBK tunes up the band. HBK connects with Sweet Chin Music just as Triple H hits Cody with the sledgehammer. HBK pins Cody and DX gets the win.

Winners: DX

- After the match, the Cell is raised and Ted rushes the ring to check on Cody. Shawn Michaels lays him out with Sweet Chin Music. DX poses over Legacy and does a few crotch chops. Hell in a Cell goes off the air with DX celebrating in the ring.

WWE Unified Tag Team Title Match: Big Show and Chris Jericho vs. MVP and Mark Henry

We open tonight’s pay-per-view with a Unified Tag Team Title match. Out first is the Champions, Big Show and Chris Jericho. Michael Cole and Jerry Lawler are on commentary. Out next is MVP followed by his partner, Mark Henry.

Jericho and MVP start things out for their teams. Jericho is slow to start, and actually bails to the floor before coming into contact with MVP. Jericho makes his way back into the ring at three and the two men lock up.

MVP is able to surprise Jericho with a quick flurry of right hands and a hip toss. Jericho stumbles into MVP’s corner and gets clocked by Henry. Jericho starts to fight back with a couple of right hands, but his rally is quickly stopped by a drop toe hold and neckbreaker from MVP.

Henry tags in and Jericho is quick to make the tag to Show. Show makes his way into the ring and both men square off, eventually locking up. Neither man is able to get much advantage off the bat, but Show suckers Henry in with a test of strength, kicking Henry. Show sends Henry into the corner and goes for a splash, but Henry catches Big Show, puts him in the corner and hits a splash of his own. Henry goes for a body slam, but Jericho comes in and knocks Henry down.

Big Show pounds on Henry in the corner before tagging in Jericho who quickly beats on Henry with forearms. Jericho gets shoved down by Henry and it’s not long before Show is back in the match. Each man hits a big lariat at the same time and both are down.

Jericho and MVP both tag in and MVP comes up with the advantage, surprising Jericho with a jumping clothesling and a ballin’ elbow. MVP goes for the cover but Jericho kicks out at two. Jericho pops up out of nowhere and goes for the Walls of Jericho but MVP fights out.

Jericho makes the blind tag and Show comes in and hits a huge spear on MVP. Big Show locks in a front face lock and attempts to wear MVP down. Jericho tags back into the match and kicks away at MVP’s head and side. Jericho locks in a modified sleeper and tries to wear MVP down even more. MVP is finally able to fight out of the submission attempt, and he surprises Jericho with a quick near fall and lariat. MVP almost makes the tag but Jericho is able to prevent it, propping MVP up in the corner and choking him with his boot. MVP hits a quick DDT and both men are down in the middle of the ring.

MVP makes the hot tag and Henry comes in and goes to work on Jericho. Jericho tries to hit a second rope cross body block, but Henry grabs Jericho out of mid air and hits a gorilla press slam. Henry follows up with a big splash, but Big Show breaks it up. Show sends MVP to the outside, Henry sends Show to the outside and goes for another pin but Jericho gets his foot on the rope. Jericho goes for the code breaker out of nowhere, but Henry wont go down and he tosses Jericho aside instead. Big Show is up on the apron where he hits the knock out punch, Jericho makes the pin and the ref counts to three.

Winners: Big Show and Chris Jericho

- Josh Matthews is backstage with Legacy, he asks them about their match tonight. Cody says tonight won’t be a match, it’ll be a fight. Cody says that there are variables in finding a man’s breaking point. Dibiase says they will make DX tap for the first time ever. Ted says that DX is the past and that Legacy is the future.

WWE United States Title Match: Kofi Kingston vs. The Miz

Out first for the next match is the challenger, The Miz. His opponent, the WWE United States Champion Kofi Kingston is out next to a nice pop.

Kingston and Miz lock up right away with Kingston backing the Miz up into the corner. Miz returns the favor by grabbing Kofi’s hair and shoving him in the corner, but instead of breaking clean he hits a kick to the mid-section. Miz locks in a headlock, and when Kofi fights out, he puts Kingston down with a shoulder block. Miz goes for his finisher, but Kofi fights out and hits Miz with a flurry of kicks and a big European uppercut.

Miz fights back with a quick snap suplex, but when he sends Kingston into the ropes, Kofi counters with two cross body blocks and a single leg drop kick. Kingston sends Miz into the corner and charges after him. When Kofi goes to the top rope though his legs are swept out from under him and Miz kicks away at Kofi’s back. Miz slingshots Kofi on the bottom rope and locks in a rear chin lock.

Kofi tries for another cross body block but the Miz gets his boot up and catches Kofi in the chest. Miz locks in another rear chin lock, but it isn’t long before Kingston fights out. Kingston’s advantage doesn’t last long and the Miz is kicking away at Kingston on the ground. Miz tries to grab Kofi around the waist, but Kingston sends Miz to the outside. Kofi tries to follow on the apron, but Miz sweeps Kingston’s feet out from under him.

Miz sends Kingston back into the ring and goes for a couple of quick pins but Kingston will not stay down. Miz sends Kofi into the corner and beats down on him before hitting his signature clotheslining in the corner. Miz goes up top and hits a double ax handle smash, but when he pins Kofi, Kingston kicks out again.

Miz kicks away at Kofi’s sides and makes a belt motion across his waist. Kofi and Miz get into a kick battle in the middle of the ring with the crowd solidly behind Kingston, who gets the advantage, almost holding the Miz down for a three count. Miz hits a backbreaker reverse DDT combo and goes for the pin, but Kofi kicks out at two. Kofi goes for his big leg drop, but the Miz is able to get his knees up to counter. Miz and Kofi trade near falls, but neither man can hold the other down for three. Kofi hits a side Russian leg sweep and follows up with the boom leg drop, but when he pins Miz, Miz kicks out at two. Kofi goes up to the top rope and hits a big splash, but Miz rolls through and pins Kingston for a two count.

Miz rolls up Kingston and pulls on the tights, but Kingston still kicks out. Miz starts getting frustrated and he pounds on Kingston. Miz goes for his high knee/neckbreaker combo, but Kingston counters with Trouble in Paradise out of nowhere. Kingston pins the Miz and gets the three count.

Winner: Kofi Kingston

Submissions Count Anywhere Match: DX vs. Legacy

Lilian Garcia announces the rules for this match as Shawn Michaels and Triple H make their way to the ring to a nice pop from the Montreal crowd. They take the mic for their usual pre-match DX stuff. A “you screwed Bret” chant breaks out and Triple H talks about the Montreal “incident” and says it was all Shawn’s fault. The crowd pops. Shawn says it wasn’t him. “You screwed Bret” breaks out again. Out next is Cody Rhodes and Ted DiBiase.

Things start out quickly with DX jumping Legacy and pounding on them in the corners. Rhodes is sent out to the floor and DiBiase falls victim to a face breaker and chop block. Rhodes is back in and he falls victim to a shin breaker and a chop block. The action spills outside and bear with me as this one will be mighty hard to cover.

Michaels and Rhodes spill out into the crowd and it’s not long before Hunter and Dibiase follow. This is really just a brawl with all four men wailing away at each other. Hunter and Rhodes start to climb the stairs with HBK and Ted following close behind, brawling all the way. Hunter and Rhodes are out of sight, apparently at a concession stand, as Michaels has a submission locked in using one of the hand rails on the staircase. Dibiase fights out and the cameras cut to Hunter and Rhodes who are fighting in front of a crowd going nuts.

HBK and HHH lock in dual figure fours, but Legacy is able to fight out. The crowd starts some kind of chant. The fight goes back into the arena proper and all four men start the fight down the staircase. Both members of DX have submissions locked in again, but neither man submits. DX clotheslines Legacy over the ringside barricade and the action spills back into the ringside area. Hunter grabs a chair and thrusts it into Cody’s throat, before pulling Cody through the chair and locking in a modified sharpshooter. Michaels locks in a camel clutch, but Dibiase is in to break it up. Dibiase throws HHH into the ringside stairs before sending him back into the ring.

HHH surprises Ted with a spinebuster out of nowhere and he locks in the crossface. Rhodes breaks it up, and he tries to send Michaels to the outside, but Michaels skins the cat, grabs Rhodes around the neck with his feet and sends him to the outside. DiBiase sends Michaels to the floor where Rhodes locks in a Gory special, but it’s broken up by Triple H who sends Rhodes into the steel steps.

DiBiase and HHH fight in the ring while Rhodes and Michaels fight out to the entrance ramp and back into the crowd. Rhodes tries to go up the stands through the fans, but Michaels follows. Cody and HBK fight to the side of the stands where Cody pushes Michaels about eight feet down off the side. Referees yell for help and Hunter looks on at HBK while Legacy regroups. Hunter spots Legacy and attacks them like a man possessed.

Hunter goes for a pedigree on the entrance ramp on Rhodes, but DiBiase breaks it up. Hunter and Rhodes fight to the back when DiBiase runs in to quickly break things up again. Legacy double team Hunter with Cody pounding on Triple H while DiBiase holds him. DiBiase locks in the million dollar dream, but Hunter fights out of it.

Hunter hits DiBiase with a spinebuster through a table full of food, and Michaels is up. Hunter has a submission locked in on Rhodes but it’s so dark I can’t see what it is. DiBiase hits Hunter with a big cooler and breaks things up before Rhodes can submit. DiBiase grabs a chair and whacks HHH over the head and it looks like Hunter is out. Rhodes and DiBiase leave Hunter and go back to the entrance ramp to deal with HBK.

Legacy beat Michaels all the way back to the ring where they punch and kick away at him. Michaels actually begins to fight back a bit, dodging an elbow drop and sending DiBiase to the floor. Michaels turns his attention to Rhodes, but Rhodes surprises him with an ankle lock. HBK gets to the ropes but it doesn’t break the submission, Michaels gets to a single leg, still in the ankle lock, fights off DiBiase, sends Ted to the outside and hits Rhodes with a superkick.

Cameras show Hunter stirring in the back, as Rhodes and HBK make their way to their feet. Michaels locks in the figure four on Rhodes, but Dibiase is in to break up yet another submission attempt. Legacy try to double team Michaels, going for a spike pile driver, but HBK fights out, sending Rhodes to the floor and backdropping DiBiase. Michaels begins to tune up the back, but Rhodes sweeps out his legs from behind. Rhodes wraps Michaels legs around the post before pounding away at his head. Rhodes locks in a ringpost assisted figure four and Dibiase comes in from behind to lock in the Million Dollar Dream. Triple H comes rolling (literally) down the aisle, but it’s not enough as Michaels taps out.

Winners: Legacy

- Backstage, Josh Matthews tries to get a reaction from Orton about Legacy’s victory over DX. Orton tells Matthews if he wants to talk to him to have a seat. Matthews asks if Orton has a reaction to Leagacy’s victory. Orton says he has no reaction because he knew Legacy would win. Matthews tries to ask another question, but Orton cuts him off. Matthews tries to ask him a question again, but Orton interrupts, saying that John Cena says that can’t say the words ‘I quit’. Orton says Cena can’t know that, he can’t be sure. Orton says tonight he’s going to make Cena feel like every bone in his body is about to shatter. Orton gets in Matthews face and tells him to watch his match tonight, because John Cena says one thing, but tonight he’s going to make him say something else. Tonight he’ll make him say ‘I Quit’.

Singapore Cane Match: Kane vs. The Great Khali

Jim Ross and Todd Grisham are on commentary as Kane makes his way out for the Singapore Cane Match. Out next is The Great Khali. The ringposts have several canes attached to them.

Kane tries to get the jump on Khali going right after a cane, but Khali attacks, chopping him in the corner. Khali and Kane both grab canes and swing at each other. Khali connects with Kane’s back and the action spills out to the floor. Kane attacks Khali’s legs and grabs the cane, whacking Khali across the back a number of times. Back in the ring, Kane continues to wail on Khali with the cane.
Khali grabs Kane around the throat, but Kane continues to work over Khali’s knee and hit at him with the Kane, maintaining his advantage. Kane uses the cane to assist in an arm lock and he tries to hit Khali again but Khali grabs the cane. Khali uses to the and whacks away at Kane about ten times. Khali hits the big over hand chop and tries for the pin, but it’s only good for a two count.

Khali grabs Kane in the vice grip but Kane grabs a cane and hits Khali over the head to break the hold. The crowd starts a boring chant and Kane climbs to the top rope. Kane comes off and hits Khali with the cane. Ranjin is in and he hits Kane with a cane, and almost falls victim to Kane before Khali breaks things up. Kane attacks Khali from behind, hitting him with a cane and wrapping it around his neck before dropping him backwards over the top rope. Kane hits a big chokeslam and pins Khali for the three count.

Winner: Kane

- Eve is backstage with CM Punk. She asks him about his last minute thoughts before his match with the Undertaker. Punk says no one gives him a chance. He says it’s funny because no one gave him a chance at SummerSlam, but he proved everyone wrong and then he got rid of Jeff for good. Punk says that three weeks later, Hardy did what he does. Punk says it’s all in black in white. He says that you’ll never see his mug shot on TV. Punk says that if you live a good life, good things will happen to you, and that if you live a clean lifestyle, you can overcome the Undertaker. The lights go out and Punk freaks out, it turns out to be Jimmy Wang Yang who’s playing a prank. Yang wishes Punk luck, and shakes his hand, but Punk takes out Yang, before saying that the Undertaker should be worried about him.

ECW Title Match: Christian vs. William Regal with Vladimir Kozlov & Ezekiel Jackson

Out first is ECW Champion Christian to a huge pop from the Canadian crowd. Regal with Kozlov and Jackson come out next.

Ring announcer Tony Chimmel announced that interim general manager Tiffany had banned Zeke and Vlad from ringside. They head backstage. The match starts out quickly and Christian almost surprises Regal with an early killswitch again, but Regal fights out. Christian locks in a wrist lock, but Regal fights out. Christian connects with a dropkick and goes for the pin but Regal kicks out at two. Regal sends Christian to the outside, but Christian is quick to make his way back into the ring with a cross body onto Regal.

Christian goes to the top turnbuckle, but Regal catches him with a couple of big forearms, the last of which sends Christian to the floor. Regal sends Christian back into the ring where he locks in a modified choke hold. Christian goes to the top turnbuckle, but Regal catches him with a couple of big forearms, the last of which sends Christian to the floor. Regal sends Christian back into the ring where he locks in a modified choke hold. Christian fights out of the submission attempt and surprises Regal with a monkey flip. Regal hits Christian with a head butt, and follows up with an exploder suplex before pounding on Christian with forearms to the head. Regal locks in a modified surfboard with a dragon suplex for good measure.

Christian fights out and hits a springboard sunset flip, but Regal rolls through and hits a big running knee. Regal locks in a full nelson, but Christian fights out, only to get caught with a modified Regal-plex. Regal goes for the pin and as soon as Christian kicks out, Regal locks in a submission.

Regal puts Christian up on the top, where Christian fights back and connects with a tornado DDT, Christian goes for the cover, but Regal kicks out at two. Regal surprises Christian with a big forearm out of nowhere and he grinds his forearm into Christian’s face on the mat. Christian goes for the killswitch, but Regal counters with the Regal-plex. Christian kicks out and Regal starts to get frustrated.

Christian begins to fight back with a flurry of quick offense that ends in a running knee. Christian goes up top and hits a missile dropkick. Christian goes up to the top again for another missile dropkick, but Regal moves out of the way and hits a rolling senton. Regal props Christian up in the corner but when he charges in Christian gets his feet up. Christian goes for the Killswitch but Regal fights out. Christian goes for the Killswitch again and connects this time, he pins Regal and gets the three count.

Winner: Christian

- Pat Patterson, the first Intercontinental Champion ever is introduced and makes his way to the ring. Patterson takes the mic and thanks the crowd in English and French. Patterson addresses the crowd in French and since I don’t speak French, we’re all in the dark on this one. Patterson says it’s not too bad for him starting out in Montreal and now he’s the Intercontinental champion. Patterson says he’s happy to introduce, but he’s interrupted by Dolph Ziggler’s music.

Patterson says there’s no need to shake hands because he knows who Dolph is. Patterson says he talked to a lot of people in Montreal last night and Ziggler won’t be able to believe who asked about him last night. Nobody. Patterson says he’s only having fun. Patterson says Ziggler has a great future ahead of him, and if he’s good enough, he’ll be IC Champion. Ziggler grabs Patterson before he can leave and asks for the mic. Ziggler says first Bob Barker, now Patterson, when did this company get taken over by senior citizens. Ziggler asks Pat if the retirement home knows he snuck out. Ziggler says he’s just having fun.

Ziggler says before tonight, he thought Pat was dead. Ziggler says that Pat looks good though, even his hairpiece. Ziggler says he can’t believe that they’re wasting time on a fossile like Patterson. The crowd starts a ’shut the f*** up’ chant. Ziggler continues to make fun of Patterson’s age. Ziggler pushes Patterson and calls him a coward before kicking him in the stomach. Ziggler starts to leave the ring but he goes back toward Patterson, John Morrison is out to make the save and he helps Patterson back to his feet.

I Quit Match for the WWE Title: Randy Orton vs. John Cena

Lilian Garcia begins the introductions as the WWE Champion Randy Orton makes his way to the ring first. Orton takes his time getting to the ring. John Cena is out next to a big pop. Lilian does the formal ring introductions and we get ready to go.

Cena and Orton stare each other down for a little while before Cena backs Orton into a corner and puts him down with a belly to belly suplex. Cena hits a (kind of) fisherman suplex and he tries for a diving shoulder block, but Orton ducks and sends Cena to the outside. Orton picks up one of the announcers monitors and hits Cena in the head.

Orton and Cena make their way back into the ring and Orton hits the rope assisted DDT, but not before the ref shoves the mic in Cena’s face for him to say ‘no’. Orton goes to the outside and grabs a chair. Back in the ring, Orton locks in a front face lock and tries to go for an RKO on the chair, but Cena fights out of it, hits two shoulder blocks and a belly to back suplex.

Cena hits the five knuckle shuffle, and tries for the AA, but Orton fights out and snaps Cena’s neck against the top rope. Orton sets up to punt Cena but Cena moves out of the way. Cena tries for the STF, but ORton fights out and rolls to the outside. Cena follows and is quickly sent into the steel ringside stairs. Orton picks up one of the sets of steps and blasts away at Cena. Orton places Cena’s head on the set of stairs and stomps down hard on Cena’s temple. The ref asks if Cena quits and Cena says ‘no’. Orton rolls Cena back into the ring and begins to look under the ring, finally grabbing a black bag. Back in the ring, Orton pulls out a pair of handcuffs and places the key, on a chain, around his neck. Orton handcuffs one of Cena’s hands and puts the other end on the top rope. Orton pounds away on Cena, punching and kicking, telling the ref to ask Cena, but Cena refuses to quit. Orton grabs the mic from the ref and hits Cena square over the head before unlocking the handcuff from the top rope and handcuffing Cena’s hands together. Orton hangs up Cena on the ringpost by the handcuffs and punches away at Cena’s midsection.

Orton grabs a bottle of water to douse over Cena’s head to keep him awake and the ref asks Cena if he quits, but Cena still will not. Orton looks under the ring again and comes up with a pair of Singapore canes. Orton whacks away at Cena’s midsection and legs, causing Cena to scream in pain. Cena takes another whack at Cena’s head before the ref can ask, but Cena will still not quit.

Orton starts to choke Cena with the cane, but Cena catches Orton with a low blow and he’s able to get himself off of the ringpost. Cena is first to his feet, but he’s blasted with a steel chair to the head from Orton. Orton uncuffs Cena’s hand and this time cuffs it to the bottom turnbuckle. Orton grabs a chair and hits Cena across the back. The ref asks but the answer is still no. Orton tries to catch Cena’s head between the steel post and a chair, but Cena ducks and backdrops Orton. Cena grabs the key from around Orton’s nexk and unlocks himself from the top turnbuckle, handcuffing himself to Orton.

Cena starts pounding on Orton, bringing him back in the ring and hitting a belly to back suplex. Cena buries his knees in Orton’s back. Cena stands Orton up and goes for the AA, but Orton fights out and hits the RKO. Orton looks around for the key, which is on the other side of the mat, and he tries to go for it, but Cena pulls on the handcuffs. Dueling chants from the crowd and Cena locks in a handcuff assisted STF, forcing Orton to quit.

Winner and New WWE Champion: John Cena

- After the match, John Cena celebrates as Orton heads to the back. Cena grabs the mic and yells ‘I did not quit.’

- We get a video with highlights of CM Punk winning the World Heavyweight Title and The Undertaker returning.

Submission Match for the World Heavyweight Title: CM Punk vs. The Undertaker

Out first is the World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk. CM Punk waits and finally the bells toll as The Undertaker’s entrance begins. Taker doesn’t waste too much time getting to the ring as Punk waits on the floor. We go to formal introductions.

Punk bails at the very beginning of the match as soon as the Undertaker charges at him. Back in the ring, Punk continues to try and stay away from Taker, catching him in the corner with quick strikes and kicks. Undertaker grabs Punk around the throat and throws Punk to the outside. Back in the ring, Undertaker catches Punk with a jumping clothesline.

Undertaker props Punk up in the corner and grinds down on him with forearms and elbows. Undertaker sends Punk to the outside and follows him out. Both men try to send each other into the ring post, but neither is successful. Undertaker catches Punk with a big knee and launches him into the barricade.

Undertaker charges Punk but ends up crotching himself on the barricade. Punk takes advantage with a couple of running knees. Punk grabs a chair and buries it in Taker’s midsection before hitting him over the head. Both men make their way back into the ring and Punk hits his corner running knee strike. Undertaker fights back and begins to go to work on Punk’s arm, wrenching it. Undertaker tries for Old School, but Punk fights back and causes Undertaker to crotch himself on the top turnbuckle. Punk tries for a superplex but Taker fights out. Punk catches Undertaker with a kick to the side of the head and tries for another superplex, which is successful this time. Punk kicks away at Taker’s midsection and the two square off in the middle of the ring, with Taker getting the upper hand with his big right hands.

Undertaker press slams Punk into the top turnbuckle and tries for the chokeslam, but Punk catches Undertaker with a roundhouse kick to the head. Out of nowhere, Undertaker locks in the triangle choke and Punk taps immediately.

Winner and New World Heavyweight Champion: The Undertaker

No wait. After the match, Teddy Long’s music hits and Long says that the Hell’s Gate was banned on Smackdown a long time ago by Vickie Guerrero, so the match has to continue.

The bell rings and Punk attacks the Undertaker. Punk locks in the Anaconda Vice out of nowhere and the bell rings but Undertaker DID NOT submit at all… The ref and Punk both book it to the ramp with the title where Teddy Long is standing. Taker is pissed as the pay-per-view goes off the air. Montreal Scewjob, Part 2.

HUGE RAW/CENA/TRISH NEWS, THE SECOND MONTREAL SCREWJOB, SMACKDOWN SPOILERS, MORE!

- Beth Phoenix won a 15-Diva Battle Royal prior to tonight’s WWE SummerSlam pay-per-view with Chavo Guerrero as the special referee. Beth was able to get the win after Chavo Guerrero interfered and eliminated Kelly Kelly and Even. The face Divas beat Chavo up until Hornswoggle speared him and hit a Tadpole Splash.

WWE SummerSlam Opener:

- The particiapnts for tonight’s show are shown on graphics and DX is making shadow figures on it. They do a little skit where they basically announce they’re back. The pyro hits and we go to the Staples Center in Los Angeles where Jim Ross welcomes us to SummerSlam.

WWE Intercontinental Title Match: Rey Mysterio vs. Dolph Ziggler

Mysterio is out first with yellow and purple gear to a big pop.

Ziggler is out to not much of a reaction at all, but he still plays up his cocky heel persona. Grisham reminds us that the last time these two met at a PPV, Mysterio came out on top with the 619. We get the opening bell and Ziggler immediately beats on Rey in the corner. Rey tries to turn the tide, but Ziggler hits a powerslam for a couple of near falls.

Ziggler stomps on Rey in the corner, but when he goes for an Irish whip, Mysterio reverses, and hits a standing moonsault off the top turnbuckle for a near fall. Myster sends Ziggler to the outside with a low bridge, and follows him out with a hurricarana to the floor. Back in the ring, the two men fight it out on the top turnbuckle, with Mysterio sending Ziggler to the mat. Rey almost botches a hurricarana, but Ziggler catches him, and powerbombs him in the corner for another near fall. Ziggler pounds on Mysterio while Mysterio lays on the mat before locking in a rear chin lock.

There’s a small Ziggler chant surprisingly. Ziggler continues to beat down on Rey landing a jumping elbow and going right back to the rear chin lock. Ziggler locks in a body scissors and Rey refuses to quit. Rey fights out of the chin lock and sends Ziggler into the corner, but Ziggler manages to catch Rey with a nasty lariat and a single leg gut buster. Ziggler goes for what has to be his tenth pinfall, but when Mysterio kicks out again, Ziggle locks in the rear chin lock with a body scissors once more.

Rey manages to fight out of the submission again and he ducks a running Ziggler, who hits the top turnbuckle. Mysterio hits a seated senton, and a kick to the side of Ziggler’s head that puts Ziggler down for a two count. Rey goes for a springboard dive, but gets caught mid-air by a dropkick from Ziggler.

Ziggler misses Rey in the corner again and almost falls victim to a roll up, but Ziggler sits down on Mysterio and gets a two count himself. Ziggler throws Mysterio into the corner and goes for the belly to back suplex, but Mysterio reverses out and hits an enzugiri. Ziggler ducks a 619 attempts and pulls Mysterio’s feet out from under him. Ziggler charges Mysterio in the corner, but Mysterio gets the boot up. Ziggler is getting a pretty surprising amount of love from these fans here tonight, as he hits a running kick to the side of Mysterio’s head. Both men are on the top turnbuckle. Ziggler looks to be going for a second rope gut buster, but Mysterio reverses out with a hurricarana. Mysterio pins Ziggler and gets the three to retain.

- Jack Swagger and MVP are backstage with Josh Matthews. Matthews says some people would consider this match a culture clash. Swagger says that on one side you have the All American American, and on the other side you have an ex-con. Swagger says MVP may have some talent, but all he amounts to is a stepping stone for Swagger. MVP says he wishes he had all the things Swagger had growing up. MVP says he made some bad decisions, but he paid for that. MVP says that when Swagger was in the NCAA, he won a trophy, when MVP was in DOC, he fought for his right to live. MVP says tonight Swagger goes back to school and gets taught by MVP.

MVP vs. Jack Swagger

Jack Swagger is out first followed by MVP to a nice pop. MVP and Swagger lock up, but it’s not long before Swagger bails to the floor. MVP follows him out though with a dive over the top rope.

Swagger is able to get an advantage though back in the ring, as he press slams MVP into the top turnbuckle. Swagger sends MVP into the ropes and hits him with a couple of forearms to the lower back. Swagger locks in an abdominal stretch, pounding on MVP’s ribs to cause even more damage. MVP fights out of the hold, but gets caught immediate with a huge lariat from Swagger. Swagger tries for a pin twice, but he can only come up with a two count.

Swagger locks in an abdominal stretch, but MVP is able to stand up with Swagger on his back, and send Swagger crashing to the mat, falling on his back. Swagger and MVP duke it out in the middle of the ring with MVP getting the advantage.

MVP hits the Ballin’ elbow, and goes for the pin, but Swagger kicks out at two. MVP goes for the playmaker, but Swagger counters out and sends MVP into the turnbuckle. Swagger rolls up MVP and grabs the tights, but MVP still kicks out. Swagger goes for the Vader bomb, but MVP gets his knees up and hits the big boot in the corner. MVP hits the playmaker, covers Swagger and gets the three.

- Lawler and Cole hype the ‘celebrities’ on hand tonight like Luke Perry of 90210 fame. This leads us into a video package running down the list of celebrities that have come to host Monday Night RAW over the past few weeks. Nancy O’Dell from Access Hollywood takes a mic at ringside and thanks WWE for helping with her charitable causes. She talks to Freddie Prinze Jr. at ringside, who says he can’t wait to see John Cena take the WWE Title from Randy Orton tonight. Not a good segment on Nancy’s part.

WWE Unified Tag Team Title Match: Big Show and Chris Jericho vs. Cryme Tyme

Out first is the WWE Unified Tag Team Champions with a new, much better theme music. Jericho cuts a promo on all the celebrities in attendance and says he and Show are the biggest celebrities and most known. Out comes Cryme Tyme.

Jericho and JTG are the men that are going to start things off here tonight. The two lock up and Jericho locks in a headlock. JTG sends Jericho into the ropes, but he gets taken down by a shoulder block. JTG is quick to recover though with a spinning elbow and modified neck breaker. Jericho almost catches JTG in the walls of Jericho out of nowhere, but he can’t quite get it. He tries to slingshot JTG into the corner, but JTG lands nimbly and hits Jericho with a crossbody.

Jericho is able to make the tag to Big Show, who comes in and immediately starts dominating JTG. Show locks in a standing side headlock and buries a right hand in JTG’s stomach. Show stands JTG up in the corner and hits a huge chop, but when he charges JTG, JTG is able to get his feet up and make the hot tag. Shad comes in and cleans house on the champs, but gets caught with a spear that quickly kills his momentum. Big Show tags out to Jericho, but makes sure to get one more big chop on Shad before exiting the ring. Jericho and Show double team Shad, sending him to the mat. Jericho kicks away at Shad’s head, but when he charges Shad, Gaspard is able to get a big boot up. Jericho is able to prevent a tag, and he tags out himself to Show, who comes in and locks in a full nelson on Shad. Big Show slams Shad down to the mat, and he tags out to Jericho who comes in and promptly misses an elbow drop. Shad is still not able to make the tag though, as Jericho locks in a modified million dollar dream on Shad.

Shad is finally able to make the tag to JTG who comes in with a lot of quickness, stunning Jericho with a mug shot and even getting in a cheap shot on Big Show. JTG goes for a pin on Jericho, but Show breaks it up. Shad sends show to the outside with a big lariat, and JTG is able to get another near fall. Jericho is able to lock in the walls of Jericho and JTG will not give up. JTG reaches the ropes, but he gets caught with a big right hand from the Big Show. Jericho pins JTG and keeps him down for the three count.

Winners: Big Show and Chris Jericho

- Josh Matthews is standing backstage with CM Punk. Matthews asks him about the TLC match tonight, but Punk says he’d rather talk about something else. Punk says he found a screenplay about Jeff Hardy with an ending where Hardy ends up conquering his demons and beating Punk tonight at SummerSlam. Punk says it’s a nice story, but the only thing that’s wrong with it is that it’s fiction. Punk says that kids worship that hip cool star, and that nothing matters as much as it’s cool. Punk says they don’t make movies about guys like him because he doesn’t support their poison society. Punk says tonight he’s going to rewrite the end of the Jeff Hardy story, and it may be graphic, but it’ll have a happy ending, with CM Punk winning the Heavyweight Championship.

Kane vs. The Great Khali

We get a video showing the feud between Kane and The Great Khali. Out first is Kane followed by The Great Khali with his brother and translator, Runjin Singh.

Kane tries to avoid Khali for the first bit of the match, and when he tries for a bit of offense, Khali beats him down in the corner. Kane tries to Irish whip Khali, but Khali throws Kane over the top rope to the outside instead.

Back in the ring, Khali misses a leg drop, and Kane tries to take advantage hitting a lariat and following it up with a trio of elbows. Kane signals for the chokeslam, but Khali fights it off and tries for the choke bomb. Kane counters out of it, but gets caught with a huge clothesline. Khali pounds down on Kane and goes for a quick pin, but Kane kicks out at one.

Khali hits Kane with a big chop to the chest, but Kane fights back with a big boot. Kane goes up top and hits the leaping lariat, but when he pins Khali, he can only hold him down for two. Kane locks in a reverse chin lock and pounds down on Khali’s head with big forearms.

Khali fights his way back to his feet and sends Kane into the ropes, taking him down with an elbow and a big boot. Khali hits a chop to the top of Kane’s head, but it’s only good to keep him down for a two count. Khali locks in the vice grip but Kane is able to make it to the ropes to force a break. While he’s in the ropes, Kane grabs a hold of Khali’s brother. He uses that as an opportunity to distract Kane. Kane hits a low dropkick, follows it up with a DDT, and pins Khali for the three, and the win.

Winner: Kane

- Lawler and Cole hype more of the celebrities in attendance, Maria Menounous, Slash, and Robert Patrick. This, somehow, leads us into a video package about DX and Legacy.

DX vs. Legacy

Shawn Michaels and Triple H as DX are out first to a huge pop, lots of pyro and a new theme song. A US Army Jeep rolls out and ’soldiers’ make their way out, ’shooting’ up into the rafters. Hunter and Shawn finally show up at the top of the stage riding in on a tank. Wild stuff here.

Hunter and Shawn pose on the tank, which shoots it’s cannon as they do their crotch chop. DX throw out glow sticks to the crowd and they pop huge again as Lilian announces them. Hunter grabs a mic a says it’s been a long time coming, so ‘are you ready?’ he does the typical ‘for the thousands in attendance’ speech, throwing in Cody and Ted saying ‘you girls want a war, you got a war, so let’s get ready to SUCK IT’. Michaels grabs the mic and says if you’re not down with that, they have two words for you, letting the crowd finish it off. Long entrance. Legacy make their way out to the ring in much less impressive fashion. Hunter and Ted are going to be the two men to start things out tonight.

The two men lock up, going into the ropes a couple of times, forcing a break from the ref. DiBiase sends HHH into the corner, but Hunter comes right back out with a big lariat before taking DiBiase down with a suplex and hitting a running knee drop. DiBiase makes the tag, but Rhodes runs straight into a big knee from Hunter. Rhodes stands up and finds himself in between Hunter and Shawn. Rhodes slaps Michaels, prompting HBK to tag into the match. HBK takes Rhodes down immediately with a shoulder block, but Rhodes is able to duck a right hand and slap Michaels again.

DiBiase tags back into the ring, where he falls victim to chops from Michaels in the corner. Michaels is caught off guard though, and DiBiase takes advantage, sending him into the corner with a hard Irish whip. DiBiase tags out to Rhodes, who comes in and tries to make a quick pin, but can only come up with a two.

DiBiase makes his way back into the match and he locks in a rear chin lock. It’s not long though, before HBK is able to fight his way out of the submission attempt and catch DiBiase with a neckbreaker. This allows HBK to tag out to Hunter who comes in and cleans house on both members of Legacy. Rhodes is able to distract Hunter though, who falls victim to a slingshot into the corner. HHH is fast to recover though, hitting spinebusters on both members of Legacy.

DX sends Rhodes to the floor, they follow it up with HHH back body dropping Michaels over the top rope on top of Rhodes. DiBiase is able to take advantage of Hunter though while he’s distracted, and he and Rhodes double team HHH, stomping away on him in the corner. Ted locks in a rear chin lock and Michaels tries to get the crowd going. Hunter is almost able to make the tag, but Ted cinches in on the hold and takes HHH down to the mat.

Hunter is able to fight his way out of the submission attempt with a side belly to back suplex. DiBiase is able to make the tag first though and Rhodes makes his way in and hits a quick DDT on Hunter before locking in a front face lock. HHH continues to try and reach his corner but Rhodes will not let up on his front face lock. HBK is able to get the crowd behind Triple H, who lands a big overhead suplex on Rhodes. Rhodes is able to make the tag first and DiBiase runs in and quickly takes out Michaels on the ring apron.

Hunter and DiBiase trade right hands in the middle of the ring, with HHH getting the advantage by sending Ted to the outside. Rhodes sends DiBiase back into the ring where he makes the tag, but it’s too late as HHH is able to make the hot tag. HBK comes in and makes quick work of both members of Legacy. The numbers game catches up with Michaels though, as he’s caught from behind with a lariat by DiBiase.

Rhodes goes up top and tries for the flying elbow, but HBK rolls out of the way and Rhodes crashes and burns. Michaels goes up to the top himself, but he ends up getting crotched on the top turnbuckle by Rhodes. Rhodes attempts a superplex, but Michaels fights his way out, sending Rhodes to the mat. Michaels goes for the flying elbow himself, but Rhodes is able to get up his knees. Rhodes goes for a pin, but HBK kicks out at two.

HBK locks in the figure four out of nowhere, but DiBiase is able to make his way in and break it up. HHH goes for the pedigree on DiBiase, but Rhodes is able to break it up and hit a neckbreaker on Hunter. Rhodes hits the cross Rhodes on HBK, but Hunter is able to break up the pin attempt.Hunter makes his way in and hits the pedigree on Rhodes, but then Dibiase makes his way in and hits the dream street on Michaels. Hunter and Dibiase brawl to the outside where they end up on the wrong side of one of the broadcast booths. Both men are able to make it up before the ten count. HBK hits sweet chin music on Rhodes out of nowhere, he goes for the pin, and wins the match for his team.

Winners: DX

ECW Title Match: Christian vs. William Regal

Matt Striker and Josh Matthews take over commentary as the ECW Champion Christian makes his way out to the ring. Out next is William Regal and he has Vladimir Kozlov & Ezekiel Jackson with him.

As soon as the bell rings, Christian hits Regal from behind as he’s walking to take his coat off with the Killswitch. Christian gets the pin for the pinfall and win. Kozlov and Jackson come in the ring and the three beat Christian down. Regal, Kozlov and Jackson stand over Christian and raise their hands.

Winner: Christian

WWE Title Match: Randy Orton vs. John Cena

Cole and Lawler go over the rivalry between Orton and Cena, highlighting their tag match from earlier this week on Raw. No video package as we’re going straight into this match. Cena is out first to his usual big pop from the crowd. Out next is the WWE Champion Randy Orton.

Lillian does the formal introductions for Cena and Orton. Both men actually get a mixed reaction, with Orton getting a bit warmer of a reaction from these LA fans.Both men lock up with Cena quickly taking Orton down and locking in a front face lock. Orton is quick to get out of it though, and both men end up where they started on opposite sides of the ring. Orton catches Cena with a big fist to the face, and he follows it up by stomping down on Cena in the corner. Cena is quick to recover though as he pounds on Orton with big right hands and hits a bulldog. Cena sends Orton into the ropes, but he eats a high elbow that sends him to the mat.

Orton hits Cena with a big European uppercut and pounds down on Cena some more in the corner, sending him across the ring into the turnbuckle with a hard Irish whip. Orton kicks at Cena’s head and sends him across the ring again with another hard Irish whip. Orton circles Cena, stomping on his arms and legs. Orton hits Cena with a huge knee drop, and he goes for the quick cover, but he can only hold Cena down for two. Cena tries to get back into things with a couple of right hands, but he falls victim to an Orton backbreaker. Orton locks in a rear chin lock and we get a dueling Orton/Cena chant.

Orton continues to apply pressure by locking in a body scissors on Cena. Cena is able to fight his way out, standing up and backing Orton into the corner, forcing him to break the hold. Cena hits a couple running shoulder blocks and a side belly to back suplex. Cena hits the five knuckle shuffle and tries for the FU, but Orton fights out and hits a big powerslam that puts Cena down for a near fall. Orton stomps away on Cena’s arms and legs again before going for another knee drop. Cena avoids the knee drop this time, and tries to shift the momentum, but when he goes for a cross body block, Orton ducks the attempt and Cena flies to the outside.

Cena is able to make his way back to the ring, but Orton catches him with the rope assisted DDT. Orton pins Cena, but Cena is able to kick out at two. Orton sets up for the RKO, but Cena is slow to get up. Orton tries to punt Cena, but Cena moves out of the way. Cena hits a blockbuster and a top rope rocker dropper, but his pin attempt only gets him a two count. Cena tries for the FU, but Orton grabs onto the ropes. Cena drops Orton and both men charge into each other with clotheslines. Both men make it back to their feel before the ten count and the trade right hands in the middle of the ring with Orton getting huge cheers. Cena gets the advantage however with a big back body drop.

Orton gets himself DQed by shoving the ref, and the bell rings and Orton leaves with his belt. Lillian announces that Mr. McMahon has announced the match be restarted and if Orton gets DQed he will lose his belt, after she botches the announcement the first time. Really I don’t think anybody knows what just happened.

Cena immediately takes the fight to Orton and the fight spills to the outside. Cena sends Orton into the barricade, but Orton retaliates by sending Cena into the Steel ringside stairs. Orton sends Cena back inside and covers Cena, but Cena kicks out. Orton goes to the outside and grabs the belt, walking up the ramp and getting himself counted out. Orton makes it to the top of the ramp and the bell is rung again. Lillian announces that the match will be restarted once again with the stipulation that if Orton is DQed or counted out, he will lose the title.

Both men go for their finishers but neither are able to connect. Orton rolls Cena up out of nowhere, uses the ropes for assistance, and is able to hold Cena down for the three count. Another ref comes out and tells the first ref what happened. The first ref orders the match be restarted. Cena immediately locks in the STF, and when Orton goes for the ropes, Cena pulls him back into the ring. A fan jumps in the ring and attacks the referee, which allows Orton to roll to the outside.

Orton catches Cena with a shot to the face, enters the ring and hits the RKO for the pinfall and the win. Insane ending here.

Winner: Randy Orton

- We get a video package highlighting the feud between Punk and Hardy, focusing on the last month.

TLC Match for the World Heavyweight Title: Jeff Hardy vs. CM Punk

The Title is hanging over the ring and ladders, chairs and tables are set up in intricate formations up and down the ramp as CM Punk makes him way to the ring. Out next is the World Heavyweight Champion Jeff Hardy to a big pop. We get formal ring introductions.

Both men lock up with Punk pushing Hardy back into a corner where he beats down on him with knees and big right hands before stomping down on him. Punk sends Hardy to the outside, then goes outside himself and grabs a chair. Punk hits Hardy in the stomach with the chair before hitting him again across the back.

Punk grabs a ladder and quickly makes his way back into the ring trying to grab the belt, but Jeff is able to push the ladder over. Hardy is able to come back with some offense of his own, including a dropkick in the corner. Hardy goes for the ladder himself, but Punk makes his way back into the ring and kicks the ladder out from under CM Punk. Punk tries for the G2S, but Hardy fights out of it and shoves Punk into the ladder.

Hardy grabs a chair and sets it up in the middle of the ring. He charges Punk in the corner, but Punk catches Hardy and Slams in into the upright narrow end of the chair. Punk picks up a ladder and slams it down repeatedly on Hardy. Punk sends Hardy to the outside again, this time following him out with a suicide dive between the ropes on top of Hardy. Punk throws a chair into the ring and sets up a table beside one of the ring posts. Punk tries to wrap a chair around Hardy’s neck, but Hardy fights out, and then ducks a chair shot. Hardy tries to fights back against Punk. Hardy sends Punk into the stairs but Punk jumps up and back toward Hardy, where he’s met with a chair to the face. Hardy sets up a chair and uses it as a launching pad to hit Punk with a big kick. Hardy sets Punk up on a table on the floor and climbs up to the top rope. Hardy dives off with a big splash, but Punk rolls out of the way and Hardy falls through the table down to the floor. Punk grabs an even bigger ladder than the one already in the ring and he makes his way back into the ring. Punk sets up the ladder under the belt and begins to make his way up.

Hardy makes his way back into the ring and jumps over Punk on the ladder, almost reaching the belt. Punk tries for a G2S off the ladder, but Hardy is able to counter into a sunset flip powerbomb off the ladder. Hardy begins to make his way slowly up the ladder and he gets his hands on the title, but Punk tips the ladder over, sending Hardy into the top turnbuckle. Punk grabs Hardy by the hair and pulls him up to the top turnbuckle. Punk superplexes Hardy off the top turnbuckle with both men landing on the ladder.

Punk tries to suplex Hardy on the ladder again, but Hardy fights out and surprises Punk with a twist of fate. Hardy goes to the top turnbuckle and tries for the swanton bomb, but Punk is able to get his knee up to cause more damage to the back of Jeff Hardy. Punk hits the high knee in the corner, but when he goes for the bulldog, Hardy picks him up, and sends him to the outside, through the table that Punk set up earlier. Hardy sets up the ladder and Punk makes his way up to the ring apron. Punk springboards off the top rope and hits a flying forearm on Hardy before sending him to the outside. On the outside Punk wraps a chair around Hardy’s neck, but Hardy is able to avoid being run into the ring post. Hardy grabs a chair himself and wails away on Punk. Hardy grabs a table, and starts dismantling the ECW announce table, hitting Punk with a moniter before hitting Punk with another chair.

Hardy sets Punk up on the announce table, whacks him in the head with a chair and pulls out a HUGE ladder. Hardy climbs to the top of the HUGE ladder and jumps off nailing Punk with a sick swanton bomb.

Medics come out to the announce table area and put Jeff in a neck brace and on a stretcher. Punk makes his way back into the ring and Hardy fights his way off the stretcher. Punk starts to climb the ladder just as Jeff falls back into the ring. Hardy makes his way up on the other side and the two slug it out and both grab for the belt. Punk kicks Hardy in the ribs, punches him in the face and sends him to the mat. Punk rips down the title for the win.

Winner and NEW World Heavyweight Champion: CM Punk

After the match, Punk stands over Hardy and celebrates with his World Title. The lights go out and The Undertaker’s bells start tolling. The lights come back on and CM Punk is smiling with his belt. He is no longer standing over the body of Jeff Hardy – it’s The Undertaker. Taker chokeslams Punk and lays him out. The Undertaker’s music hits and he makes his way up the ramp, knocking down ladders as Punk lays in the ring. SummerSlam goes off the air.

HUGE DX SPOILER FOR RAW, PLANS FOR MATT HARDY, HOT NEW WWE SUMMERSLAM PARTY PIX, TAKER-PUNK PLANS AND MORE…

- WWE’s Night of Champions 2009 kicks off with a promo based around winning gold featuring the Superstars in action on tonight’s pay-per-view.

- The pyro explodes inside the Wachovia Center as Michael Cole welcomes us to Night of Champions in Philadelphia, PA. Cole announces 17,774 fans in attendance tonight for a sell out.

WWE Unified Tag Team Title Match: Legacy vs. Chris Jericho and Big Show

Lilian Garcia does the intros for tonight’s opener as Cody Rhodes and Ted DiBiase make their way to the ring. Out next is Chris Jericho, by himself. Lilian introduces his partner but he takes the mic from her. Jericho says before he introduces his partner, let’s remind everyone of what happened to Edge. Jericho plays the Edge surgery video on the screen.

Jericho says it was wrong for him to choose Edge as his partner in the first place. Jericho cuts a promo on Edge. Jericho introduces his tag team partner – Big Show. Show comes out with his half of the belts to a big pop. Legacy looked shock in the ring.

Show starts out with Cody Rhodes. Big Show is wearing new tights tonight. Big chops by Show in the corner and a body blow to Cody. Show tosses Cody across the ring by his neck. Cody manages to tag in DiBiase. Dibiase comes in but gets dropped by a big shoulder from Show. Show with body blows in the corner now on Ted. Jericho is tagged in and Show laiunches him into Ted in the corner. Jericho with a shoulder take down on Ted. Jericho slams Ted’s head into Show’s boot and Show is tagged back in. Show with a head butt and more shots on Ted.

Jericho gets a 2 count on Ted after a tag and double team shot from Show. Cody comes in but he gets double teamed for another 2 count by Jericho. DiBiase pulls the ropes and Jericho goes to the floor. Ted goes to the floor and works over Jericho before taking him back in the ring. Ted is tagged back in for some double teaming and a 2 count on Jericho. Cody is tagged back in for more double teaming. Cody with an elbow to the head and the fans start chanting for Jericho. Cody stomps away and Jericho tries to fight back. Cody with a headlock now.

More back and forth by Cody and Jericho. Ted is tagged back in and they work Jericho over in the corner. Jericho tries to make a tag but Ted rams him back in the opposite corner. Cody is tagged back in with more shots on Jericho in the corner. Cody misses a clothesline in the corner and Jericho starts to fight back. Jericho runs into a boot. Cody goes to the top and hits a nice moonsault for a 2 count. Jericho with an enziguri and Cody goes down. Ted is tagged in and stops Jericho from tagging in Show. Jericho rolls Ted up out of nowhere for a 2 count. Ted with a clothesline and Jericho goes back down. Ted catches Jericho and powerslams him for a 2 count.

Another 2 count by Ted. Ted misses a dive in the corner and Jericho grabs him for the Walls of Jericho. Ted counters it and locks on his Dream Street. Jericho ends up going for the Walls of Jericho again and locks it this time. The ref is distracted when Cody comes in and DDT’s Jericho, breaking the hold. Ted with a 2 count on Jericho. Jericho runs the ropes and tags in Show. He comes in and grabs Cody and Ted for a chokeslam. They double team him. Show spears Ted while Cody heads for the floor. Show with a 2 count on Ted as Cody made the save. Show tosses Cody over the ropes but he hangs on. Cody dropkicks Show in the back into a kick to the knee from Ted. Jericho comes in and hits the Codebreaker on Ted while the ref is distracted. Show locks on what is now called his Colossal Clutch to make DiBiase submit for the win.

Winners: Chris Jericho and Big Show

- Josh Matthews is backstage with the World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk. Punk asks the fans after everything he’s done for them, why they still support Jeff Hardy. Punk walks out to the stage and addresses the fans, asking them why they continue to support a man who can’t support himself, Hardy. Hardy talks about the fans who have Hardy shirts on and their faces painted, and asks them to stand up and let the world know they support Jeff Hardy. Punk tells the camera men to get a good shot of the Hardy fans. Punk says he doesn’t blame the fans who support Hardy – he blames their parents. He says he should have said parent – because it’s obviously a single parent situation, the same way Jeff Hardy grew up, Punk says. Punk cuts a mean heel promo on the parents in the crowd and calls them enablers. Punk talks about kids, Hardy fans, growing up into drinking and using drugs. Punk says all of this can be stopped if the parents just sit down and talk to their kids. Punk says everyone should just say yes tonight to the future of a straight edge America and say yes to the World Heavyweight Champion. Punk thanks everyone and that’s it.

ECW Title Match: Christian vs. Tommy Dreamer

We go back to the ring where the ECW Champion Tommy Dreamer is making his way to the ring to a nice pop from the Philadelphia crowd. Out next is the challenger, Christian, to a much bigger pop.

The bell rings and we’re ready to go. They lock up and go to the corner. They come out of it and Dreamer slaps Christian. Christian slaps Dreamer. They go back and forth and Dreamer goes for a quick cover. Christian with a spin kick and a 2 count of his own. More back and forth. Dreamer with the neckbreaker off the ropes for a 2 count. The crowd starts chanting ECW. Christian comes off the second rope with the uppercut. Dreamer goes to the apron. Christian charges but Dreamer takes him down with a shoulder thrust. They fight on the apron. Christian goes to the floor and pulls Dreamer down with him. Christian knocks Dreamer back into the announcer table. Christian with a move off the top to the floor. They go back in the ring now.

Christian ends up on Dreamer’s back with a sleeper hold. Dreamer falls back and breaks the hold. Christian locks on another sleeper hold. Dreamer just leaps over the top rope and Christian tumbles with him to the floor. The ref begins to count them out. They make it back in the ring. Christian comes off the top but Dreamer hits him in the gut. Christian gets dropped on his face and a 2 count by Dreamer. Dreamer takes Christian to the top and puts him in the tree of woe. Dreamer gets the crowd to chant ECW and nails the dropkick to the face on Christian.

Christian counters the DDT by Dreamer. More back and forth when my TV goes out. When it comes back on we have a new ECW Champion, Christian after a Killswitch.

Winner and New ECW Champion: Christian

Six-Pack Challenge for the WWE United States Title: Kofi Kingston vs. Jack Swagger vs. MVP vs. The Miz vs. Carlito vs. Primo

Lilian does the introductions for the next match as Jack Swagger makes his way out to the ring. Out next is Carlito followed by The Miz. Primo is the next man out, apparently replacing Big Show after he was picked as Chris Jericho’s partner earlier. MVP is out next followed by the WWE United States Champion Kofi Kingston.

More problems with my feed tonight. Everyone’s brawling as Swagger tosses Carlito over the top. He goes at it with MVP but gets dropped. MVP and Swagger fight on the floor now. Swagger works MVP over now. Carlito comes over the top and takes out MVP on the floor. Kofi kicks Carlito back into the announcers table. Kofi off the top with a dropkick on Swagger in the ring. Kofi with a 2 count on Swagger. Miz comes in and hits his bronco buster move in the corner.

Lots of back and forth here. MVP takes Carlito out. Carlito and Primo collide in mid-air and go down. Kofi and Swagger go at it now. Series of near falls between Kofi, Primo and Carlito. Swagger pulls Primo and he falls on his face while running the ropes. Primo and Carlito are working together until Swagger clotheslines both of them. Swagger dominates everyone until MVP comes in and takes him down. MVP hits the Ballin’ elbow on Swagger and goes for the Playmaker until Miz makes the save. Miz gets a close 2 count. Everyone gets involved and Kofi Kingston gets the pin on Carlito after a kick to the back of the head to retain his title.

Winner: Kofi Kingston

- Josh Matthews is backstage with Randy Orton. Orton talks a bit about Cody and Ted losing earlier. He says he’s counting on the ego of his two opponents tonight in the WWE Title match to help him win. He says one day the fans will stop disrespecting him.

WWE Women’s Title Match: Michelle McCool vs. Melina

Jim Ross and Todd Grisham are on commentary as we get replays of the events leading to this match. Out first is the WWE Women’s Champion Michelle McCool. Melina, the challenger, is out next with her usual red carpet entrance.

Melina is doing her entrance when McCool attacks before the bell rings. The match gets started and Melina unloads on McCool. Melina with kicks and punches in the corner now. McCool tries to escape the ring but can’t as Melina pulls her back. Melina keeps in control of McCool until she gets dumped out to the floor. McCool hits Melina with a running knee into the fan barrier. 2 count. McCool applies a leg submission on Melina now.

McCool works the leg over until the hold is broken. McCool traps Melina in the ropes and works her over and they go back to the floor. McCool misses a running kick and gets caught on the fan barrier. Melina and McCool brawl on top of the fan barrier now. McCool counters and DDT’s Melina on top of the wall. McCool misses a sliding kick on the apron and flies out to the floor. Melina wraps her legs around the neck from the apron and throws McCool around. Melina flies off the apron to the floor and onto McCool.

Back in the ring, Melina takes McCool down again and puts her knees in her back. Melina rams McCool into the corner with shoulder thrusts. Melina with a spinning kick and a 2 count. More kicks from Melina. McCool catches her with a belly to belly suplex for a 2 count. McCool rams Melina back in the corner but gets caught with the legs again. Melina with a pin from the top rope but McCool reverses it with a roll up for the pinfall and the win.

Winner: Michelle McCool

- John Cena is seen backstage warming up for his match tonight. Michael Cole plugs the WWE Title Triple Threat, which is apparently next. We cut to a promo video.

WWE Title Match: Randy Orton vs. John Cena vs. Triple H

Out first is John Cena to a big pop. Cena rushes the ring before Triple H makes his entrance. The WWE Champion Randy Orton is out next as Cena and Triple H look on, but not after having a few words with each other. The match starts and Orton ends up sliding out to the floor early on.

Triple H and Cena surround him on the floor and they all go back in the ring. Triple H and Orton go at it. Cena goes out to the floor after Orton and they come right back in. Triple H with right hands on Orton in the corner. Orton runs into a boot from Triple H and Cena hits the bulldog. Triple H and Cena take turns knocking Orton around.

They take it to the ramp and continue to beat Orton up. Cena and Triple H end up going down on the floor and Cena hits hard. Orton takes Cena in the ring and mounts him with right hands. Cena runs the ropes and takes Orton down with the shoulder. Cena hits the Five Knuckle Shuffle and Cena goes for the Adjuster. Triple H comes in and stops things. Cena gets dumped to the floor. Orton clotheslines Triple H for a 2 count. Orton works HHH over in the corner with stomps now.

Orton with a dropkick on Triple H and another 2 count. Headlock by Orton now. They trade right hands on their feet. Orton with a scoop slam off the ropes on Triple H. Triple H counters an RKO attempt and drops Orton with a DDT and both go down. Cena comes up and goes to the top rope. He hits the big leg drop on both Orton and Triple H. Cena gets boo’d as he takes out Orton and Triple H. Orton gets up with a neckbreaker that sends Cena back to the floor. Triple H goes for a Pedigree on Orton but gets dumped over the top to the floor.

Cena comes back in but Orton stops him on the ropes. Orton tries to hit his DDT off the ropes on Triple H and Cena at the same time but they back drop him over the top rope and to the floor. Cena and Triple H come face to face in the ring and mock each other. They trade big right hands and the crowd is all into it. Cena hits two shoulder blocks but Triple H stops the third with a high knee. Triple H with the knee to the face now. Cena and Triple H go back and forth with their signature moves until Triple H hits the spinebuster. Triple H nails the Pedigree on Cena but only gets a 2 count as Orton pulls his legs from the floor.

Orton throws Triple H into the steel steps and slams him into the announcer’s table head first a few time. They fight on top of the table until Cena interrupts them. Orton gets knocked off the table and into the fan barrier. Triple H goes for the Pedigree on Cena on the table. Cena counters it and locks on the STF on top of the table. The crowd boo’s. Orton decks Cena and breaks the hold. Orton and Cena go back in the ring and trade right hands. Orton runs the ropes and kicks Cena in the head, he goes down. Orton goes for an RKO but Cena pushes him off in mid-air.

Cena takes Orton to the top for a superplex but Triple H comes in. He puts Cena on his own shoulders but Cena falls off. Cena lifts Triple H for the Adjustement. Triple H slides out with a Pedigree attempt. Cena counters and slingshots Triple H into Orton who is on the top turnbuckle. Orton falls and Cena locks the STF on Triple H again. Triple H gets out of the hold but Cena pulls him back and locks it again. Orton comes in the ring and goes for a punt kick on both. Cena moves and rolls Orton up for a 2 count. Cena goes down off a clothesline and all three are down.

Orton gets to his feet and starts stomping on Triple H’s limbs. Then he goes over to Cena and starts stomping on him as well. Orton goes back and forth between the two. Now the crowd starts chanting for Cena. Orton starts dropping knees on Cena. Orton with more stomps on Triple H. Cena ends up getting a back drop on Orton while Triple H gets up. Cena calls for the Five Knuckle Shuffle but Triple H dumps him over the top and to the floor. Triple H goes for a Sharpshooter on Orton and locks it. Cena comes in and locks on the STF on Orton while he’s still in the Sharpshooter. Orton taps out. Legacy rushes the ring and starts the beat down on Triple H and Cena.

Orton gets up and nails an RKO on Cena out of nowhere. Orton pins Cena and somehow is still the WWE Champion after the referee counts the pin. Didn’t Orton just tap out?

Winner: Randy Orton

- Backstage we see Maryse warming up when The Miz walks up. He says he can’t wait to see her in action later on. Miz goes for a kiss on her and she says nope. Maryse says Miz lost tonight and she doesn’t want to date a loser. She goes to walk off and he grabs her arm. He says he can get any chick he wants. He says he wasted his time with her on RAW last week. He says she’s not a Champion, she’s a tease. Miz says one night, maybe tonight, she will lose her belt and come crawling to him. He says she will have butchered her shot like she butchers the English language every time she talks. Miz walks off and we cut to a Shaq promo for RAW.

WWE Divas Title Match: Maryse vs. Mickie James

Out first for the next match is the challenger, Mickie James to a nice pop. The WWE Divas Champion Maryse is out next. Maryse taunts Mickie before the bell rings and they almost start brawling. The bell is called for and they still taunt each other. Maryse dodges a clothesline and poses some. They lock up and go to the ropes. Mickie takes Maryse down first.

Lots of stalling here in the early part of the match. Mickie catches her in the ropes by h er hair. Mickie with a bridge pin for a 2 count. Maryse with forearm shots on Mickie now. Mickie takes Maryse back down and dropkicks her low for a 2 count. Mickie tries to come in off the apron with the ropes but Maryse kicks her in mid-air hard. Mickie falls out to the floor as the ref starts counting.

Mickie comes back in and Maryse keeps in control. Mickie fights back but Maryse hits her with an elbow and a knee to the face for another 2 count. Maryse mounts Mickie with the clutch and rubs her face into the mat. Mickie fights out of it but Maryse throws her through the ropes and out to the floor. Mickie goes back in the ring while Maryse pulls the can of hairspray from under the ring. Maryse comes in but Mickie kicks her down. Mickie picks the can up and goes back to the floor. The referee takes the can from her. Mickie drops Maryse on the floor and nails a bunch of right hands. Mickie rams Maryse back into the apron. They go back in the ring.

Mickie comes off the top but Maryse moves. Maryse locks on her clutch move again but Mickie fights out and back drops her. They trade shots on the mat and get to their feet with the same. Mickie with running forearms and a clothesline. Mickie hits a neckbreaker on Maryse and picks up a 2 count. Mickie with a head scissor take down out of the corner. Maryse trips her up on the ropes and gets a 2 count of her own. Maryse pulls Mickie off the top now and down to the mat. Mickie counters a move and nails her signature DDT on Maryse. Mickie covers for the pinfall and the win.

- Josh Matthews is backstage with Cody Rhodes and Ted DiBiase. Josh says they failed tonight but they bring up Randy Orton winning his match tonight. Cody says they have a great sense of accomplishment tonight. Cody says step by step, they’re cementing their legacy and they walk off.

- Jim Ross and Todd Grisham plug the WWE Intercontinental Title Match as we go to a promo video.

WWE Intercontinental Title Match: Rey Mysterio vs. Dolph Ziggler

Out first is the challenger, Dolph Ziggler. Maria is going to sit at ringside for this match. Out next is the WWE Intercontinental Champion Rey Mysterio to a big pop. The bell rings and they lock up. Dolph takes it to the corner and they break it up. They go to lock up again but Dolph dropkicks Rey for a 2 count.

Now Mysterio picks up a quick 2 count. They lock up again and Dolph applies a side headlock. Dolph with a shoulder block and a 1 count. Another shoulder and another pin attempt. Dolph with a headlock on Rey now as Maria cheers him on from ringside. Dolph runs the ropes and kicks Rey in the gut. Rey runs the ropes now and takes Dolph down. Rey jumps on Dolph’s shoulders but gets powerbombed back into the turnbuckle pad. Dolph with another 2 count. Dolph stomps on Rey now.

Dolph with more offense and another 2 count. Dolph with another headlock on Rey. Dolph kicks his legs in the air and puts his weight down on the headlock. Rey to his feet, fighting out of the headlock. Rey comes off the top and throws Dolph head first into the steel ring post by his legs. Rey nails a springboard leg drop and a splash off the second rope for a 2 count. Rey kicks Dolph in the face but gets caught in a big powerslam for another 2 count by Dolph. Dolph goes for a suplex but Rey slides out. Rey dumps Dolph through the ropes and to the floor. Rey comes flying over the top to the floor and onto Ziggler.

Rey goes back to the top but Dolph catches him in the ring. Dolph goes for a double underhook powerbomb but Rey takes him down into the ropes for the 619 but can’t hit it. Dolph takes control back and sits on Rey’s back with a chinlock. Dolph has a full nelson applied as he takes it to their feet. Rey fights back with kicks and elbows. Dolph catches him off the ropes with another powerslam and a 2 count. Dolph drops a big elbow on Rey for another 2 count. Dolph kicks away at Mysterio now and taunts him. Rey gets up and fights back. Another full nelson by Dolph, wearing Rey back down into a submission. Rey fights out again but Ziggler goes back to the full nelson again. Dolph turns it into a 2 count but Rey counters with a 2 of his own. Rey with a kick to the face for another quick pin attempt.

More back and forth, another 2 count for Ziggler. Dolph beats Rey down in the corner with right hands. Rey trips Dolph into the turnbuckle pad. Rey ends up on the apron and knocks Dolph back. Rey leaps off the top rope but Ziggler dropkicks him in mid-air. Another 2 count by Dolph and another. More stomps by Dolph. Dolph charges but Rey moves. Dolph goes down in the corner. Rey takes Dolph to the top and they fight there. Dolph grabs Rey and hits a nasty gut buster off the top rope. Dolph covers for a 2 count. Dolph gets kicked by Rey and an enziguri drops him into the ropes. Rey hits the 619 and splash off the ropes for the pinfall and the win.

- We get a promo hyping the Jeff Hardy and CM Punk feud.

World Heavyweight Title Match: CM Punk vs. Jeff Hardy

Out first for tonight’s main event is the World Heavyweight Champion, CM Punk. Out next is the challenger, Jeff Hardy, to a big pop from the Philly crowd.

We get the formal introductions for this match with Hardy’s name getting a much bigger pop than Punk’s. Punk actually get boo’d mostly. The bell rings and the crowd is chanting Hardy’s name. Punk strikes first with a big kick. More kick attempts by Punk and some taunts to Hardy. They lock up and Punk applies a headlock.

They grapple for a second before breaking it up again. Some stalling here by Punk. They lock up and another headlock by Punk, this time taking it to one knee. Punk with a shoulder off the ropes and Hardy goes down. Punk goes for GTS but Hardy slides out and goes for Twist of Fate. Punk counters but Hardy drops him with two clotheslines. Hardy with shoulders in the corner now. Roll up for 2 by Punk. Punk with another headlock on the mat now. Hardy gets to his feet and fights out of the hold. Hardy dives, Punk moves and Hardy goes rolling to the floor. Punk goes diving and ends up hitting the fan barrier head first.

2 count by Hardy now. Hardy hits a neckbreaker before climbing to the top. Punk rolls to the floor. Hardy leaps off the top to the floor but Punk moves and Hardy lands on the fan barrier. Punk gets back in the ring while the ref starts the count on Hardy. Punk starts celebrating as Hardy rolls right in at 9. Punk covers for a 2 count. Punk with knees to the back now. Another 2 count by Punk. Punk with more kicks and another 2 count. And another 2 count by Punk. Punk locks on a surfboard submission hold on Hardy. Hardy fights out of it but Punk kicks him in the ribs and keeps in control.

Punk takes Hardy to the top and they fight it out. Hardy counters and pushes Punk to the mat, they both go down. They get to their feet and Punk slaps Hardy. They trade right hands. Hardy with some forearm shots off the ropes and an inverted atomic drop. Hardy with the double leg drop and a 2 count. Hardy goes for Whisper in the Wind but Punk pushes him down from the top. Hardy gets up and Punk hits the running knee to the face in the corner. Hardy counters the bulldog and nails Whisper in the Wind for a 2 count.

Hardy drops Punk again and goes to the top. Hardy misses the Swanton Bomb as Punk moved out of the way. Punk lifts Hardy and drops him with a back breaker. Punk locks on a Dragon sleeper hold. Hardy gets up and Punk starts kicking and punching him in the head. Hardy out of nowhere hits the Twist of Fate. Hardy goes to the top and goes for the Swanton. Punk puts his knees up and Hardy lands on them. Punk with a 2 count. Punk jumps off the ropes and Hardy kicks him in the gut. Punk counters with the GTS. 2 count by Punk. And another 2 count by Punk. Another pin attempt, three in a row by Punk.

Punk rolls out to the floor and grabs his World Heavyweight title belt. Punk starts walking to the back as the crowd boo’s. Hardy gets up and attacks from behind, bringing Punk back to the ring. Hardy nails the Twist of Fate again and goes to the top. Hardy nails the Swanton for the pinfall and the win.

- After the match, we go to replays. Jeff Hardy celebrates his big win in the ring as CM Punk tries to recover on the floor at ringside. Night of Champions goes off the air with the new World Heavyweight Champion celebrating with the fans.

ECW Championship Scramble: Tommy Dreamer vs. Christian vs. Finlay vs. Mark Henry vs. Jack Swagger

Tony Chimel is in the ring announcing as Matt Striker and Josh Matthews take over commentary. Out first is Christian followed by Jack Swagger. These two will start the match off. They lock up and go at it. Swagger tries to dump Christian on his back but he slides out of it. Christian with a boot in the corner and chops.

Swagger gets an early 2 count on goes to work on Christian. He ends up taking him to the top turnbuckle and they go at it. They do some counters and Swagger hits a big neckbreaker. Swagger wrenches the neck now. Christian fights back as the clock starts counting down. Out next is Finlay. Finlay rushes the ring and cleans house. He puts Swagger on his shoulders and drops him with his signature move. Finlay stomps on Swagger and drops a big leg on Christian for a 2 count.

Christian comes back with a 2 count of his own on Finlay. Finlay dumps Swagger to the floor. Back in the ring and Swagger goes for the eye, getting a pinfall on Finlay. Swagger is the current ECW Champion. Swagger works over Christian as officials check on Finlay’s eye. Christian goes for a Killswitch but it’s reversed. More reversals and Christian drops Swagger for a 2 count. The clock counts down and Tommy Dreamer comes in. Dreamer takes out Swagger and Christian. Big neckbreaker by Tommy. He tries a DDT on Christian but it’s reversed. Dreamer with a sitdown powerbomb on Christian. Dreamer wraps Christian up in the corner and hits the running dropkick to the face.

Swagger ends up throwing Christian and Dreamer in the corner which looks like a botched spot. Swagger takes Dreamer to the floor and works him over. Swagger brings Finlay back in and they go at it. Finlay goes for the Celtic Cross. Christian comes in and breaks everything up, getting a 2 count on Finlay. Finlay got the pin before and is the current ECW Champion. Dreamer goes for a superplex on Christian from the top. Dreamer goes back down to the mat and Swagger clotheslines him. Swagger goes to the top where Christian is as the clock counts down again. Mark Henry comes in and takes out Dreamer. Henry takes Swagger and Christian down and lifts Christian above his head. Henry presses Christian over the top rope and down onto the floor. Henry scoops Dreamer and slams him hard with the World’s Strongest Slam. Henry pins Dreamer and is the current ECW Champion. Finlay comes in after Henry. Henry fights him and Swagger off, then Christian. Henry with a headbutt on Christian. Finlay and Swagger beat down Henry. Christian comes over and trades shots with Finlay. All three of them kick on Henry now.

Finlay, Henry and Swagger end up on the floor. Dreamer and Christian take turns leaping from the apron onto them. Henry goes back i the ring but Swagger takes him down by the knee. Swagger with a splash off the top rope and he pins Henry to become the current ECW Champion. Swagger takes out Dreamer. The clock has 2 minutes left as he kicks Christian to the floor. Henry drops Swagger from behind and he’s leaned on the ropes. Henry runs and splashes all his weight onto Swagger’s back with a guillotine slide. Finlay meets Henry on the floor and throws him into the steps. Christian hits the Killswitch on Swagger but Dreamer stops the pin. Dreamer DDT’s Christian to become the current ECW Champion. Finlay tries a pin but can’t get it. Swagger tries a pin on Finlay. Finlay drops Dreamer but gets a 2 count. 45 seconds left and they’re all trying to get pins. Finlay DDT’s Swagger for a 2 count. Henry with a 2 count on Swagger, or a 1 count as Dreamer stopped it. Dreamer with a 2 count on Henry. 10 seconds left. They all get quick pins in as the clock runs out and Tommy Dreamer manages to get the last one in on Christian to retain the ECW Championship.

Winner: Tommy Dreamer

- We actually get a commercial break. The Gillette commercial with John Cena and Vince McMahon.

- Backstage we see Teddy Long sitting there. Edge walks in and talks about how Vince put him on probation this past week and says the fact he is not on a pay-per-view tonight is a crime. He wants Teddy to put him in the Edge vs. Jeff Hardy match later tonight. Teddy says he shouldn’t have told his wife off and he’s not going to help Edge. Edge says he better reconsider his decision or he will find himself out of a job.

Mask vs. Title Match: Rey Mysterio vs. Chris Jericho

Rey Mysterio is out next in new gear as Jim Ross and Todd Grisham hype the match. Out next is the WWE Intercontinental Champion Chris Jericho. The ref holds up the title and we get ready to go.

The bell rings and they go at it. Jericho strikes first and goes to the corner and then into a headlock, all while yelling taunts at Jericho. Jericho knocks Rey down with a big shoulder block. Jericho runs the ropes and kicks Rey in the gut and to the corner. Mysterio puts a boot up and nails a hurracanrana off the top. Jericho goes to the floor to regroup. Rey comes sliding with a baseball slide but Jericho catches his legs and slings him by his legs into the fan barrier. Rey’s head hits hard. Jericho goes back in the ring and the ref counts on Rey.

Jericho hits a long suplex on Rey and another headlock. They fight it out on the top and Jericho is still in control. He dumps Rey to the floor and gets lots of heel heat from the crowd. Jericho tries to suplex Rey back in the ring but he slides behind Jericho’s back. Jericho catches him with a back elbow and a nasty kick for another 2 count. Jericho with another submission move now. Rey fights out with back kicks and keeps kicking. Jericho charges and Rey dumps him to the floor this time. Rey comes leaping off the top to the floor on Jericho. Rey fights back in the ring and hits two nice springboards for a close 2 count.

They go back and forth and Jericho nails a big powerslam for another close 2 count. Jericho looks frustrated now as he works on Rey in the corner. The crowd chants 619. Rey moves out of the way and Jericho runs into the ringpost. Rey hits a big moonsault from the top rope for another 2 count. Jericho reverses a move and locks on the Walls of Jericho, trying to make Rey tap and lose his mask. The ref checks on Rey.

The hold is broken and they go back and forth with several near falls. Jericho rips off Rey’s mask but he had another one on underneath. Rey nails the 619 as Jericho is stunned and the senton for the pinfall and the win.

No DQ’s and No Countouts: Dolph Ziggler vs. The Great Khali

Out first for our next match is The Great Khali with Runjin Singh. Khali gets a pop. Out next comes Dolph Ziggler. Dolph slides onto the apron and poses. The bell rings and we’re ready to go. Dolph runs around Khali and kicks him a few times and unloads with rights. Khali tosses Dolph by his head and whips him hard in the corner. Khali drops Dolph with a huge chop.

Khali ends up dumping Ziggler to the floor and goes out after him. Khali with a huge clothesline on the floor and another massive chop. Khali goes for another chop but Dolph moves and he chops the ringpost. Dolph leaps off the apron with a dropkick and staggers Khali. He goes for another but Khali chops him back into the ring. Khali continues to dominate Ziggler in the ring. Khali goes for a big boot but Khali ducks and he gets hung on the ropes. Dolph with a move on his leg. Dolph brings a chair in the ring and cracks Khali with it a few times. Dolph continues working on the leg and hits a leg drop for a 2 count.

Dolph with a front face lock applied until Khali powers out and slams him. Khali with a big boot. The fire explodes in the arena as Kane makes his way to the ring! Ziggler wacks Khali with the chair some more. Kane enters the ring and Ziggler backs out of the ring. Kane grabs the chair and cracks Khali with it twice, sending him to the mat. Kane continues unloading on Khali with the chair before leaving the ring and heading to the back. Ziggler takes advantage, gets back in the ring and pins Khali for the pinfall and the win.

Winner: Dolph Ziggler

- Teddy Long is backstage again when Vince McMahon walks in. Vince came to apologize for putting him on probation on SmackDown this week and blames it on his state of mind from the whole Trump thing. Vince said he was going to apologize until he heard Long’s words to Jericho about being the longest reigning GM in WWE history. Vince tells Teddy he has accomplished absolutely nothing. Vince brings up Regal, Heyman, Bischoff and Adamle – former GM’s and says they all were leaders. Vince says some more stuff and Long is still on probation.

WWE Unified Tag Team Title Match: The Colons vs. Legacy vs. Edge and Chris Jericho

Legacy and the WWE Unified Tag Team Champions The Colons come out first. Before the match, Teddy Long comes out on the ramp. He introduces a new team to the match – Edge and Chris Jericho. The match starts with Ted and Carlito.

Carlito works over Ted and takes control before tagging in Primo. Jericho tags himself in by tagging Primo. He goes at it with Ted until Cody tags Jericho out and himself in. Cody and Primo go at it until Ted comes back in. He and Primo trade shots. Primo with some nice kicks and a leg take down for a 2 count. Carlito comes back in and does a double team move with Primo for a 2 count on Ted. Primo is back in now going at it with Ted. Ted lays him out and tags back in Cody for some double teaming. Cody stomps away on Primo.

More double teaming by Legacy now. Ted is in working over Primo on the ropes. Cody comes back in and wears down Primo with a knee to the back. Primo fights out of it and drops Cody. Edge tags himself in and goes for a spear on Primo. Primo dodges it and Ted tags Edge and now he is back in with Primo. Ted with a series of elbow drops on Primo for a 2 count. Primo rolls Ted up for another close 2 count. Ted with a huge clothesline on Primo and Cody comes back in for some double teaming. Cody with a nice dropkick on Primo and another 2 count. Cody with a jacknife cover for another 2 count. Cody drops knees and stomps on Primo now.

Primo reverses a hold and rolls Cody up for a 2 count. Cody drops Primo again for another 2 count. Edge and Jericho just can’t seem to get a tag. Cody with a surfboard looking move on Primo. Edge runs in and breaks the hold right in front of the referee. Cody tags in Ted yet again and Ted starts working over Primo. Primo dumps Ted to the floor. Cody rolls him back in and tags him in as Primo tags in Carlito. Carlito comes off the top on Cody. Carlito with a big knee to the face and a clothesline. Carlito hits the back elbow off the second rope for a pin but Ted makes the save. Primo dumps Ted. Primo turns around to a Codebreaker from Jericho. Carlito dumps Jericho out of the ring. He hits Edge on the apron. Rhodes gets thrown into the ringpost. Carlito hit the Backstabber on Rhodes but he didn’t see Edge tag in. Carlito gets up and turns to a spear from the legal man, Edge. Edge covers Carlito for the pinfall and the win.

Randy Orton is backstage when Cody Rhodes and Ted DiBiase walk up. He tells them not to worry about just what happened and Ted doesn’t like this. Randy says he has more to worry about tonight – his WWE Title defense. Ted asks if that’s all they are to him – lackies. Ted says he joined this group because he wanted to further his career. Ted is in Orton’s face talking before he storms off. Orton yells to not talk to him like that and Cody says he will talk to Ted.

WWE Women’s Title Match: Melina vs. Michelle McCool

Out next is the WWE Women’s Champion Melina looking hot as always. Her challenger Michelle McCool is out next with Alicia Fox right behind her. The match starts and they go at it. McCool goes for a big move but Melina turns it into a DDT. More brawling here and shots from Melina.

Melina keeps in control with big shots until McCool turns it around. McCool mounts Melina with forearm shots and a 2 count. McCool works on Melina’s leg now and throws her into the corner. Melina’s leg gives out and she just falls. McCool uses the legs on Melina’s leg. McCool rams Melina back in the corner now and starts slamming her leg into the ring post and the steel steps. McCool taunts Melina in the ring now and covers her for a 1 count.

McCool with another counter and she nails the Faith Breaker to get the pinfall and the win. McCool makes history as the first ever to win both the Divas and Women’s Title.

- We get some more promos including a Jeff Hardy vs. CM Punk promo.

World Heavyweight Title Match: CM Punk vs. Jeff Hardy

Out first is the World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk to a nice pop. Out next is his challenger, Jeff Hardy, to a much bigger pop. Hardy is without his face paint tonight.

Justin Roberts does the formal ring introductions as we get ready to go. Hardy’s name gets a big pop while Punk gets some boo’s and not much positive reaction. The bell rings and they get a feel for the crowd before locking up. They lock up and Punk takes it to the corner until the ref breaks it up. They locok up again and go to the mat. Punk fights out of a headlock and we get some back and forth action here. Punk with a big shoulder sends Hardy to the floor. They lock up again and more back and forth.

Hardy keeps a headlock applied and they do some more back and forth mat wrestling. They come out of it and Punk with another shoulder as the crowd boo’s him. Punk goes for an early GTS but Hardy counters with a 2 count. Punk counters a Twist of Fate but Hardy sends him over the top and down to the floor. Hardy comes over the top and lands on Punk on the floor. Hardy throws Punk into the fan barrier. Hardy runs and jumps off the steel steps onto Punk but Punk moves and Hardy lands hard. Punk goes back in the ring as the ref counts on Hardy.

Hardy makes it back int he ring at the 9 count. Punk covers him for a 2 count. Punk argues with the referee some. Punk kicks Hardy in the back now and locks a Figure Four headlock on. Punk breaks the hold and gets another 2 count. Punk hits a backbreaker and another 2 count. Punk wraps the legs around Hardy’s neck again and holds it, taunting him. Hardy makes it to the ropes and the hold is broke. Seems like they’re just not clicking in this match. Punk scoop slams Hardy and the crowd boo’s him. Punk comes off the top rope but Hardy moves out of the way. Punk runs at Hardy but splashes the turnbuckle. Hardy hits Whisper in the Wind for a 2 count.

Hardy with a clothesline and another followed by another. Hardy with an inverted atomic drop and a double leg drop to the mid section. Hardy with a 2 count. Hardy with a front suplex. Hardy climbs back to the top but Punk rolls to the floor. Hardy leaps off the apron with a clothesline on Punk and both men are down on the floor. Hardy brings it back in the ring and dropkicks Punk into the corner. Hardy goes for his double kick in the corner but Punk catches him in the GTS. Hardy stops the GTS and holds the ropes. Punk with a high knee in the corner and the running bulldog for a close 2 count.

Punk unloads with big kicks on Hardy and chops. Hardy nails the Twist of Fate out of nowhere and climbs back to the top. Hardy goes for the Swanton Bomb but Punk rolls out of the way. Punk signals for GTS. Punk lifts Hardy to his feet but Hardy rolls him up for a close 2 count. Punk gets up with a big roundhouse kick to the head. He goes for GTS again but Hardy slides out of it and nails another Twist of Fate. Hardy goes back to the top and hits the Swanton this time. Hardy covers Punk for the pinfall and the win. Or did he? Punk leg was right under the ropes when the pin was counted. Hardy’s music starts playing but the referee calls everything off. Punk’s leg was under the rope. Hardy argues with the referee.

The match is not over and Hardy is pissed. He grabs Punk for another Twist of Fate but Punk counters and goes for the GTS. Hardy slides out of it and Punk gets poked in the eye. Punk scrambles to the corner and the ref checks on his eye. Punk nails the referee and knocks him down, while holding his eye. Jeff Hardy looks on stunned as the referee calls for the bell. Punk got disqualified and is still selling the eye injury, probably blaming not being able to see on hitting the referee. The crowd starts chanting Bullshit. Punk retains the World Title.

Winner by DQ: Jeff Hardy

- After the match, Punk starts walking to the back. Hardy comes after him and tells him he knew what he was doing. Punk blames it on his eye. Hardy attacks him and drags Punk back to the ring. Hardy unloads on Punk, beating the hell out of him as the crowd chants his name. Several WWE officials have to pull Hardy off of Punk. Punk gets up staggering around. Hardy breaks free and nails another shot on him, Punk goes to the floor. An official helps Punk to the back while he holds his eye and the crowd boo’s.

Teddy Long is backstage again when Carlito and Primo Colon walk in. They’re not happy with what happened earlier. Teddy says Vince told him to shake things up and that’s just what he did. He says he did the right thing. Teddy tells them to get to stepping, they argue a bit before leaving.

- Randy Orton is backstage pacing. He picks up his phone and makes a call. He leaves a message for Cody and asks where they are at, telling Cody to call him back. Orton looks worried. We cut to footage from the concert earlier outside of The Bash.

- We cut to a promo of the feud between John Cena and The Miz.

The Miz vs. John Cena
Bands Rev Theory and Adetas Way are at ringside as The Miz makes his way to the ring first. Miz is wearing his anti-Cena shirt. Out next is John Cena to a nice pop from the crowd. The bell rings and they go at it. Cena takes Miz down first and they lock up. Cena with another take down and elbow drop.

Cena keeps in control and works on Miz’s hand. Cena with a headlock takedown. Cena dodges a move and takes Miz down with another headlock. Cena backs therm to the corner and the ref counts. Miz with a side headlock now. They run the ropes and Cena hip tosses Miz. Miz kicks him in the head but it doesn’t phase Cena. Miz leaves the ring and Cena chases him back in the ring. Miz manages to drop Cena’s neck over the ropes and takes control. Miz with shoulder thrusts in the corner and right hands. Miz hits the running forearm in the corner.

Miz comes off the top with a takedown and a 2 count. Miz has Cena on his knees and rocks him with a right and kicks. Miz with another takedown and a close 2 count. Miz hits a running dropkick on Cena and sends him to the floor. Miz brings him back in and covers for a 2 count. Miz wastes time and just stands over Cena. He picks him to his feet and hits him with a right. Cena blocks it and fights back. Cena with the flying shoulder and another. Cena with the back drop. Cena hits the Five Knuckle Shuffle and goes for the Attitude Adjuster. Cena nails the Adjuster and locks on the STF. Miz taps out quickly. What was the point of this?

- We cut to a promo for the Three Stages of Hell match for the WWE Title with Randy Orton defending against Triple H.

Three Stages of Hell Match for the WWE Title: Randy Orton vs. Triple H

Out first is the WWE Champion Randy Orton without Ted DiBiase or Cody Rhodes. Orton looks a bit worried as he stalks to the ring with his WWE Title belt. Orton poses in the corner with his belt as Voices plays. It takes a while but Triple H’s music finally starts playing and out he comes to a nice pop from the crowd.

Match #1: Singles Match
Lilian Garcia does the formal ring introductions as we get ready to go. Orton strikes first and they trade shots in the middle of the ring. Orton with a big shoulder block but he runs into a big knee from Triple H. Triple H comes out of the corner with another clothesline. Triple H beats Orton down in the corner. Triple H runs into a big boot in the corner. Orton pulls him down by his legs and tries to wrap them around the ring post. Triple H counters and pulls Orton’s face into the ring post.

Triple H with a 2 count now and more offense on Orton. Orton kicks Triple H in the face. HHH comes back with a Pedigree attempt but Orton takes his leg out. Orton works on the leg now and smashes it into the apron. More shots on the leg by Orton and he finally slams them against the ring post. Back in the ring and Triple H is limping. Orton works him over in the corner and continues working on the leg. Orton stomps away on Triple H now and drops his weight on the leg.

Orton goes for a RKO but Triple H blocks it. Triple H with a big spinebuster. Orton drops his signature backbreaker move on Triple H and both of them are selling. Triple H is on the floor as the ref starts counting. Triple H gets on the apron but Orton kicks him right back off to the floor. Orton tries to pull Triple H back in the ring but The Game cracks him in the head with a steel chair. Triple H gets DQ’d.

Match #2: Falls Count Anywhere Match

Randy Orton is announced as the winner of the first fall. Triple H brings the steel chair back in the ring and starts wailing on Randy Orton with it. Orton is in pain from all the chair shots as he rolls to the floor. The second fall is a Falls Count Anywhere match. Triple H hits a Pedigree on the concrete and gets the pinfall and win of the second fall.

Match #3: Stretcher Match
WWE officials bring the stretcher down to ringside. Orton is laid out as Triple H puts him on it and starts pushing it up the ramp. He almost reaches the winning mark when Orton gets up and kicks the stretcher into Triple H. They go back down to ringside as Orton takes out the leg again. Both men are limping. Orton kicks Triple H into the fan barrier, over it and into the crowd. Orton controls Triple H in the crowd now with punches and they fight through the fans.

More brawling through the fans. Triple H fights back and starts making their way back to ringside. Triple H clotheslines Orton over the fan barrier and back to ringside. Orton lands hard but ends up dropping Triple H on the floor also. They fight back to where the stretcher is. Orton throws Triple H into the steel steps and ring post. Triple H rolls in the ring and Orton brings a piece of the steel steps in. Orton grabs the steps and goes to deck Triple H with them. Triple H trips Orton and Orton’s face smacks into the steps. Triple H grabs the steps now and rams them into Orton’s head.

Triple H brings Orton out of the ring and puts him on the stretcher. He starts rolling it up the ramp to cross the line at the top. Orton kicks Triple H in the head and makes the save. Both are down on the ramp. Orton puts Triple H on the stretcher and DDT’s him off of it onto the steel ramp. Orton steps back and goes for the punt kick but Triple H moves out of the way. Triple H goes for a Pedigree on the ramp but Orton backdrops him onto the stretcher. Orton starts pushing the stretcher up the ramp. Triple H slides off it just in time and Orton starts wailing on him.

Orton gets down and in Triple H’s face. He goes for an RKO but Triple H pushes him face first into the stage set. Triple H nails the Pedigree on the top of the stage, right on the stretcher finish line. Triple H puts Orton on the stretcher, about three feet in front of the finish line. Cody Rhodes comes out and stops the stretcher at the last second. He starts brawling with Triple H and beats him down. Triple H throws Cody into the stage set. Triple H goes to pull Orton over finish line until Ted DiBiase runs out. DiBiase beats Triple H down and Cody joins in on the beating. They put him on the stretcher but he gets up. The beating continues.

Triple H gets his sledgehammer out of nowhere and takes out Ted and Cody. Randy Orton gets up and nails Triple H with a piece of the stage that Triple H had removed. Triple H falls on the stretcher and Orton pushes him across the line to retain the WWE Title.

Winner: Randy Orton

- After the match, Randy Orton is posing with his WWE Title belt on the ramp. Triple H comes up from behind with the sledgehammer. Orton turns around to a big shot to the mouth and he’s laid out, face down. Triple H poses over a down Randy Orton before limping off to the back. Triple H comes back out and crotch chops Orton. After replays, the WWE Champion Randy Orton is helped up off the stage by WWE officials. The Bash goes off the air with Randy Orton on his feet with the WWE Title belt.
