Another $25 Million Awarded In Hulk Hogan – Gawker Case

– A jury in St. Petersburg, Florida just awarded another $25 million to WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan.

The Gawker website was slapped with another $15 million in punitive damages and its owner with $10 million, adding to the $115 million Hogan was awarded last week for the website publishing his sex tape.

Gawker’s lawyer argued earlier today that the verdict was “debilitating” for the company as the website is worth $85 million.

Hogan’s lawyers told the jurors that they were in a position to send a message to others in the media.

  • WWE SUCKS!

He’ll be lucky if he see’s even half of it after lawyer, court fees, and taxes. Plus that’s only if Gawker doesn’t get a lower amount, in a appeal. Still a nice chuck of change for him, but nowhere near the 100+ million that so many people thinks that he’s getting.
