The Rock’s latest movie, “Journey 2: The Mysterios Island”, has already brought in over $50 million overseas. Debuting last night garnering $6.5 million in the US is projected to gross over $20 million by the end of this weekend. The movie is expected to surpass other movies starring Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson.

Apart from wrestling at this year’s WrestleMania, the Rock will be filming two new movies in 2012 – “Pain and Gain”, a new Michael Bay film also featuring Mark Wahlberg, and “Empire State”.
