Draw; Double Count Out, Still WWE Champion: The Miz

– After the match, The Rock’s music hits and out he comes.

Cena and Miz are still laid out over the wall as the RAW General Manager’s e-mail alert goes off. The Rock walks to the podium and prepares to make the announcement. The Rock stops after a few words and says it doesn’t matter what the GM thinks, then throws the laptop off the podium. Rock enters the ring and says there’s no way WrestleMania is over and restarts the match – no DQ’s, no count outs, no time limits, no crying to your mama. Rock says there’s no way this match will end like that. Rock tells everyone involved to stick something up their candy ass and says it’s time to give the people what they want.

Cena and Miz are at ringside now as the bell rings. Cena goes for an Attitude Adjustment in the ring but Miz hangs on. Cena turns around and The Rock lays him out with a Rock Bottom. The Miz takes advantage and covers Cena for the pin and the win.

Winner: The Miz

– After the match, The Rock goes to the foot of the ramp as The Miz celebrates in the ring. Miz and Rock have a staredown as the crowd chants “Rocky.” Rock rushes the ring and unloads on The Miz. Rock lays him out and hits The People’s Elbow as the crowd pops. The Rock climbs the turnbuckle and poses for the fans as his music hits. We go to replays. WrestleMania 27 goes off the air with The Rock posing for the fans. The last we saw of John Cena was him getting pinned.

Overall, not bad. The only match worth watching was the Undertaker Vs. Triple H. That seemed to be the only match to have real emotion in it and looked what “wrestling” used to be. This shit with celebrities is getting old, they don’t bring any new viewers or more buys. Who the hell is gonna pay $55 for them to be on TV for less than five minutes? Edge Vs Del Rio wasnt a bad match either. Other than that, I dont think this was worth my $55.

i saw the trainer actually check Undertakers pulse after the match. I could have sworn he wasnt breathing for a couple of seconds. I have to admit i marked out when Triple H was in complete control. I seriously thought that he was gonna win.

I cant believe that the World Heavyweight title was the first match! and Daniel Bryan vs Sheamus wasnt even shown! thats a disgrace right there

the end to the WWE Championship match was crap too. Probably in the top five WORST WrestleMania main events of all time.

And they completley cut out the match between Daniel Bryan Vs. Sheamus

What a disappointing Wrestlemania! It definitely didn’t live up to any of the hype, first of all the card to begin with was pretty, neither of those tag matches needed to exist. They didn’t “have time” for Sheamus vs Daniel Bryan but they had time for Hornswoggle to rap? They had time for Snooki and Pee Wee Herman? What a joke. Oh and since when does someone who’s “hosting” something sit backstage all night? Del Rio vs Edge was quality, Cody vs Rey might have been the best actual wrestling match on the card to me absolutely NOTHING else lived up to the hype, Lawler loses his first and only WM match, The Rock comes out for 5 seconds to do a couple moves. HHH vs Taker could have and should have been way better. (oh by the way where was HBK?…told ya not to hold your breath)

Lamest Wrestlemania in years in my honest to God opinion. I was as excited as anyone too, I’m not just looking for a reason to be negative, I honestly think this years Wrestlemania was lacking, big time. It was GREAT to hear J & King though, that’s for damn sure. :)

Cenas entrance was longer than the whole match, hah.

Did anyone else see Miz’s head bounce off the arena floor like a basketball when they went over the guard rail? That had to be extremely painful, if you didn’t see it check it out when you can…it looked like he HAD to have been pretty shaken up after that hit, I can’t imagine hitting your head that hard and NOT being concussed. Ouch.

It was nice to see a chairshot to the head too, but I really can’t get over the fact that they cut Sheamus vs Bryan, in all honesty that was the match I was looking forward to the most, I was even talking about it before ‘Mania began, total bummer. I feel like they really didn’t try too hard this year. Can’t wait for tomorrow though, HOF ceremony, Sin Cara debut on Raw, and Tough Enough. Should be a good Monday night. :)

I am sorry folk, but with the exception of 2 matches(HHH v Taker and Del Rio v Edge, the rest of the PPV was just a Monday Night Raw,,,In Other words, Wrestlemania was a waste of time and money,,and it blew whale dong,,LOL

I though Rhodes vs Mysterio was absolutely great, but other than that I could not agree with you more man, perhaps the most disappointing Wrestlemania yet.

I hope more people feel this way and it gets back to Vince, to cut Sheamus and Bryan (who intended to steal the show) is just ridiculous, and why didn’t his “Chosen One” have a match? Makes little to sense to me.

I’m sure he’s fine (hopefully) he’s always been great at “selling” his “injuries”. I’m willing to bet that if it were something very serious the word would be out by now and we’d know. I hope he was just doing his job well as usual.

THAT WAS IT?! the only match that caught my attention was the taker-hhh match. I thought cody was going to unmasked rey? I thought they’re going to air bryan-sheamus match?! They also had the worst segments for wrestlemania, mae young, hornswoggle, snoop dog, pee wee herman?! WTF! and in the main event, cena-the miz match sucks big time. What’s with the choir gimmick?! I’ve waited for months, and it’s a total disappointment to watch wrestlemania.

  24. brett

    Date: Apr 03, 2011 at 11:13 pm

yeah i hope so too but its not like taker to leave the ring on a stretcher and never a wrestlemania that aint taker and the fact hhh looked so concerned

  25. vinnydictive

    Date: Apr 03, 2011 at 11:15 pm

maan, i can’t remember a time we all agreed on something like this. seems like everyone was let down. way to go Vince. I agree with every single word M. Those segments were AWFUL, even The Rock himself was just …blagh. Kinda over it, I guess, enough with the catchphrases just have a match already. Cena/Miz was a total let down. Actually I must commend Snooki on her very quick very impressive cartwheel handspring backflip thingy, very smooth, that finishing “splash” was a dud though. sorry i can’t stop complaining :/ Mania really kinda sucked this year, I’m bummed.

Did love the Stone Cold/Rocky face off though, that was a great touch. :)

yeah i know but i took the day of work to watch and ill do it again next year there is no other way id love to spend my day even if the HHH vs Undertaker was the only good match i still love it one thing i really am getting sick of is the mystery Raw GM about time we found out who it is or get rid of him/her/ it time to stop the stupid games

  27. Willy316

    Date: Apr 03, 2011 at 11:57 pm

Well, at least this WM has got everyone agreeing on the same thing !! Like some one mentioned, it was RAW on an extravagant and wasted scale. And since when does a match go missing??!! Sheamus and Daniel would have been awesome !!

Just a thought it seemed to me that the last two times we seen mastero that it didnt look anything like him in the face at all. whats up with that does anyone know. Plus I am done with cena and others all year losing because of interferance everytime its getting old I thought riley was fired cause he lost and why wast five minutes for the rock to come down at the end and restart the match just to interfer in two min and end the match this is the last one I pay for and they are about to lose me for good if they dont change raw or smackdown.

GLAD I DIDNT PAY $60 FOR THAT CRAP..THAT WASNT NOTHING BUT RAW MATCHES AND THEYLL PROB DO A COUPLE REMATCHES FROM WM..GA FIRST WM AND WWE DROPPED THE BALL ON THIS ONE..NEXT MNTHS PPV WILL PROB BE BETTER THN WM .CAUSE ROCK VS CENA WILL MST LIKELY HAPPEN.WHICH THEY SHOULD HAVE MADE IT HAPPEN AT WM..THEY SHOULD HAVE TRIED TO BRING IN GOLDBERG OR SOMEBODY TO HYPE IT UP A BIT..IM NO MATCH MAKER BUT I COULD A MADE A BETTER CARD THAN THT.

  30. tampaglen

    Date: Apr 04, 2011 at 8:40 am

How weak was that? I paid $65 for this?! I’ve seen better shows on Monday Night.

People – come on! “HHH and Taker match was amazing” Like hell it was! It’s was one of the most boring matches I’ve seen in a long time. UT threw HHH out of ring a few minutes into the match and HHH was out there for like 20 minutes. HHH fell off a table and sold it like he feel off the cell. The last 30 minutes of the match was finishing moves followed by long periods of lying there. Lame.

And Rock – “give the people what they want” ? The people wanted to see the main event of Wrestlemania become a triple threat match where The Rock walks out as WWE Champ.

Even King and JR were having trouble – the King kept flubbing up his words and calling the wrong names. JR was way over-selling everything, especially HHH v UT.

i wish we could petition enough people to convince WWE officials to give Sheamus & Bryan Danielson 20minutes or so on RAW. They owe it to them AND their fans.

The worth mania in history… Nothing stood out… I did like JR and King calling the action. Better then hearing Booker T’s crappy voice.

Wow such bad reviews.. Tank god I did not order it.. Look the rock summed it up when he said john cenas fans are 2 to 5yr olds.. If there was no john cena I tink there would be no PG rating.. If it does not change by the end of yr I’m giving up on wwe coz its too predictable.. I mean they had so many options wiv the 2/21/11 promo but again same old stuff.. You can’t use the phrase out wiv the old in wit the new coz the old guys are keeping it together for now

    I meant worst….

Anywho, I also did like the confrontation between The Rock and Austin… I got goosebumps and took me back to the 3 Manias where they fought each other… I can’t wait for their rivalry DVD coming out at the end of the year!

i think the Undertaker is ok cuz if it was that bad i dont think his wife Michelle Mccool would of been in her match right after his, i do think hes hurt/banged up but not as bad as it looked i was worried too but i think its just to lead to a big return to talk about keeping streak alive.

well this years mania could have been a hell of alot better triple h face taker at mania 17 so it wasnt that big of a deal for him to fight him again. edge kept the title then discracfully ruined a 100,000 dollar car vince rented yeah that good entertainment not. they should have had john cena win the belt then rock come up behind like normal and rock bottom his ass to set up there year long talking fued to end with a title match at wm28 better then the hogan rock match back at wm18. the taker match they should have tried alot harder to get sting that would have stole the show. the lawler, cole match sucked cause cole didnt have a clue what to do it was a waste of a match slot on the show. and the 8 man tag was mainly a superstars kind of match heath slater was the only one in the match for the corre, did neone else catch that? the snooki match sucked she will never be a good diva even when she come to wwe after the shore is done. morrison should have had a better match. he is the next mr. wrestlemania. not that i’m saying he is gunna take shawns spot but hes gunna be the next unbeleiveable person at mania . give a him a chance at the title and let him run with it vince.
