Edge Gets a Title Shot, Vince Sends WWE Gear to Bysiewicz and More

– WWE will hold their Fan Appreciation event tonight at the XL Center in Hartford, Connecticut. Triple H is being advertised to return for “one night only.”

– Edge defeated Rey Mysterio and Alberto Del Rio on last night’s SmackDown to earn a shot against Kane’s World Heavyweight Title at the WWE Survivor Series pay-per-view. The only other match announced so far is Wade Barrett vs. Randy Orton for the WWE Title with John Cena as special referee.

– CTNews.com reports that Vince McMahon mailed out a box of WWE merchandise to Connecticut Secretary of State Susan Bysiewicz and reporters covering Linda McMahon’s Senate campaign this week. The box of merchandise also contained a brief letter from Vince. Below is a photo of what Vince sent:

    edge would definitely be a better champion than kane. the kane-taker feud had three of the most boring matches ive ever seen. all they did was punch each other in slow motion, and once they fell to the ground, it always took them 5 to 15 seconds to get back on their lazy ass feet. seriously, did any one of you enjoyed their matches?!

    Its bout the story behinf the match but even though the matches still sucked lol

    The buried alive match was alright but the prior 2 were dire. Kane v Undertaker is a poor pairing full stop.
