– The current season of WWE NXT will go for 12 weeks. SyFy is set to drop the show after October 1st when SmackDown comes to the network.

After last night’s premiere, SyFy will only air four more episodes. No word yet on where the other 7 episodes will air but by the looks of WWE’s new NXT VOD website, it may end up there.

It’s interesting to note that SyFy will air an episode of NXT on Friday, October 1st at 7pm. This is just one hour before Friday Night SmackDown makes it’s debut on the network.
