Matt Hardy Taking Time Off?, Hall Enters WWE Sponsored Rehab

– Matt Hardy noted on his Twitter account on Saturday that he will likely be taking some time away from the squared circle as a result of WWE’s ’stringent health and wellness policies’.

“Thx 4 everyone who has been concerned about my foot being jammed between the steel steps,” Hardy wrote. “It was bad-it felt like my foot was bein cut off. Didn’t plan to take my boot off, but I had to immediately see how bad my foot was injured. Keep in mind, it bled thru my sock & ankle tape.

“I will most likely have to miss some ring time due to WWE’s stringent health & wellness policies. I’m sorry if I do guys & gals.”

– New Jersey based promotion Pro Wrestling Syndicate issued the following statement concerning former WWE performer Scott Hall:

Scott Hall was booked as our Guest Commissioner for this Sunday’s Pro Wrestling Syndicate event in Fairfield, Connecticut.

I just received a phone call from Hall’s booking agent Lenny informing me that Hall has been sent to a 50 day mandatory rehab facility in Texas by his probation officer. I am being told that the WWE is funding Hall’s rehab.

That being said, Scott Hall will not be appearing at PWS this Sunday or at any of his other scheduled bookings this weekend which includes a wrestling show in Brooklyn and several autograph signings.

Just a question for all especially the pro-wwe/anti-tna people who post regularly on wrestlescoop. Who is in a better place, Jeff Hardy near the top of TNAs talent or Matt Hardy near the bottom of WWEs talent?

  • joemoefoe

honestly jeff hardy is, but tna is just not good enough for him, they need to switch haha cept matt would do good in tna and jeff does good anywhere

  • Ken

Of course Jeff Hardy is good in TNA, So was Christian and Jeff Jarrett and Kurt Angle, RVD, R-Truth (Ron Killings) and everyone else who jumped ship from WWE to TNA, TNA doesnt have enough Wrestlers to make them legitimate to WWE so they have to take WWE stars and give them titles that WWE wouldnt. If Matt Hardy went to TNA he would be TNA world Champ too, than he would be able to go back to WWE like Christian and just be put back in Midcard status, just like everyone else, the question I pose to you. Are people like R-Truth and RVD world title material or Midcard material.

  • Kryptonite

Honestly not a big r-truth fan. He.s ok but not great. However i think RVD is a better in-ring performer in TNA. WWE didn.t use him right. That.s why he got stale in WWE.

i think wwe needs to start pushing matt hardy, TNA dont suck to much but whats so bad about it is the booking

I hate that Dixie thinks paying big money for older talent is her saving grace when she has such great talent already there. She needs to grow a set, fire Hogan, Bischoff, and Russo. Those are the 3 faces etched on WCW’s tombstone. And let her TNA originals do their thing.

Jeffs career is in a better place than Matts.. Even if TNA doesnt quite get the same fan base (not being bias, the ratings tell that story)..
Matts personal life seems to be a whole lot better off than Jeffs atm.. Jeff does still have those charges hanging over his head..
As I said, theres no bias in those comments because i watch both companies programming and both companies have their pros n cons…
