Latest on Bret Hart’s WWE Future and the 2011 WWE Hall of Fame

– As noted before, Bret Hart is advertised for the September 25th SmackDown show at Madison Square Garden in New York City. Hart is scheduled to team with The Hart Dynasty against three Nexus members. There has been talk of having Bret’s return to Madison Square Garden be a part of Bret Hart Appreciation Night.

Bret is also advertised to team with John Cena against Edge and Chris Jericho on August 9th at RAW in Sacramento, CA with Nexus as Lumberjacks. Another main event with Hart, Randy Orton and Cena vs. Sheamus and two members of Nexus is also advertised.

– WWE is planning to make another attempt at getting The Ultimate Warrior to join the Hall of Fame. Other names being discussed for next year’s ceremony in Atlanta include Arn Anderson and The Freebirds. Most also feel that Ron Simmons may be inducted next year.

How many times does WWE have to invite Jim Hellwig (like Bruno, like Savage, like Bob Backlund and a few others) to be inducted, only to constantly turn the offer down.. WWE should rethink that idea and not bother..
As for Arn Anderson, The Freebirds and Ron Simmons, they’re all great choices for HOF next year..
If WWE 2011 HOF is to have a WCW feel to it, then id also consider The Steiner Brothers and The Road Warriors.. Tully Blanchard, Barry Windham and JJ Dillon of Four Horseman fame. Brian Pillman. Jim Crockett as a promotor of early NWA/JCP events..
Im just ramblin off random names here but theres my point… They had so much talent in the Atlanta territories. Why not celebrate and acknowledge it with HALL OF FAME 2011..
We’ve seen far less deserving names go in on previous years..
