Internal Picks on NXT 2, WWE’s Latest Chris Benoit Edit, More

– Seeing as Chris Benoit took part in the Elimination Chamber Match that took place at the 2005 New Year’s Revolution pay-per-view, he is featured in WWE’s newly released DVD set highlighting the Elimination Chamber, Satan’s Prison: The Anthology of the Elimination Chamber. While he’s shown in the match – the first marketed of him by WWE since his 2007 double murder and suicide – anything remotely complimentary said by the announcers regarding Benoit was edited off the DVD.

– Many within WWE are predicting Michael McGillicutty or Alex Riley to win NXT Season Two. Meanwhile, it’s said that Husky Harris has unanimously impressed “everyone.”

– No RAW guest hosts are expected to be scheduled until after SummerSlam. Child star Bobb’e J. Thompson — who stars alongside Big Show in the upcoming WWE Studios film Knucklehead — and country music artist Toby Keith have been booked to host episodes of RAW in October.

Its unfortunate that the murderer had been a part of so many many memorable moments in WWE history. What will you think when you’re watching him on tv?

The same thing I will always think…DAMN he was great in the ring, too bad what happened. The NFL should do the same with O.J.! The only difference is Benoit is dead!

so are there going to be like blank audio spots where they talk about benoit? and this is a good first step to getting his name back in the light.

WWE apparently has decided to show Benoit for the talented in-ring technician that he was.. Not the heinous bastard he became towards his family in the end..
Do i believe WWE should have included him on this wrestling dvd and many other.. I dont know.. And its not for us to decide whether he should be there..
What I will say is that WWE has taken, i guess, a decent step in not trying to recreate its history, he was there, whilst also not trying to upset any persons closely related to that said incident…

This is a highly controverial topic.. Everybody is entitled to there own opinion.. This opinion isnt meant to offend anyone.. In the end, i suppose it doesnt matter to those who were closely involved..
