– TNA sent agent D-Lo Brown to AAA’s recent TripleMania event in Mexico to look for high-flyers who could speak English. Brown saw the crowd and their reactions, then talked with AAA about coming in to wrestle. Abyss, who worked the show, also said he’d like to work more dates there.
– Les Thatcher noted on his Wrestling Weekly audio show that he is under the impression that Tommy Dreamer will be showing up at tonight’s TNA Slammiversary pay-per-view in some form or fashion but has not signed a contract with them yet. An appearance by Dreamer isn’t considered to be part of the big changes that Dixie Carter has been teasing.
