CM Punk Promo Being Worked on, WWE/Conan O’Brien Update, More

– Chris Jericho’s new Fozzy album, Chasing the Grail, isn’t expected to sell more than 10,000 copies in its first week. It’s currently ranked #321 in overall music sales at Amazon and #16,867 on Barnes & Noble’s website.

– WWE Champion Sheamus stars as inmate Two Ton in a movie from the UK titled The Escapist. The movie was shot in 2008 but was recently released on DVD.

– As noted before, WWE is interested in Conan O’Brien as a RAW guest host. The feeling is that it would be great if it happened but it’s not something they are seriously discussing right now. Apparently O’Brien has a clause in his TV contract that says he can’t host another show until September so WWE is trying to get him to host on the grounds that it would not be hosting a variety show but that he would be a “general manager” for a night.

– The first Friday Night SmackDown after the NFL Super Bowl is on February 9th at the New Orleans Arena in New Orleans, Louisiana. WWE is already working on a major promo that night for CM Punk regarding the game, especially if the New Orleans Saints lose to the Indianapolis Colts.
