– Tonight’s three-hour RAW opens up with a video package hyping up the Slammy Awards. We go to the normal RAW opening video as we get ready to hit the arena.

– The pyro explodes as welcomes us to a “new Holiday tradition, the Slammy Awards.” Cole hypes the four-man tournament tonight to crown Superstar of the Year. It’ll be vs. and Randy Orton vs. The Undertaker to determine the final. We go to the ring where Justin Roberts introduces tonight’s host, the infamous Dennis Miller. Miller comes out to an okay pop. The stage is setup nicely for the Slammy Awards. Miller talks about the families in the crowd and attempts some humor. He says he’s getting a feel for the wrestling crowd and going back to the script now. Miller talks about covering politics on his radio show and says the similarities between politics and WWE are striking. He compares Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi to Vickie Guerrero. He compares to Bush and Cheney, in a way. Not sure if the crowd is feeling his political humor here. Miller goes on about global warming and stuff. Miller is awesome, but not sure if he’s right for the WWE crowd. Miller calls Cena and Barack Obama the golden boys. He says one just got put through a table and the other guy hasn’t brought anything to the table yet. Miller talks about the WWE Troops Tribute and plugs USACares.org which helps out the soldiers while they’re overseas fighting.

Miller brings out the first Slammy Award presenters, and Jillian Hall. They are presenting the award for Tag Team of the Year. Jillian breaks out into her own rendition of “Whoomp There It Is” and Truth cuts her off and tells her to shut up. The nominees are DX, Legacy, The Hart Dynasty and Chris Jericho & Big Show. And the Slammy goes to… Chris Jericho and Big Show. Out come the former Unified Tag Team Champions.

Jericho looks pissed as he comes out but Show is smiling about the Slammy. The crowd boo’s the former Champions. Jericho says they must have expected someone else and a DX chant starts up. Jericho says he isn’t surprised, he knew they would win the award because they’re the best tag team ever. Jericho thanks two people… Edge, for being cowardly enough to get hurt and give up his belt and himself, Jericho, for choosing Big Show to be his partner. Jericho says he is getting their rematch for the belts tonight against DX and they will prove why they’re the best tag team.

what a load of rubbish for superstar of the year the final shouls have been punk v orton reasons A: Taker been out most of the year, B: Cena only held the WWE Title 1 time.
Both Punk and Orton have held the WWE or WHC title 2 or 3 times this year. Then again if it was left to a fan vote HHH,HBK or Cena would have won flat out. The final should have been Punk v Orton the two who deserve it the most, i’m annoyed Cena was in it. Just another way to get Cena over

You know what your right about this and you are wrong about this decision. I think John Cena deserves another shot at the wwe title. He working so hard on this match and he says, “I will not lose” and that’s that. By the way shameus congradulations on winning the wwe title and the breakout of the year. But this isn’t over yet I hope cena will regain his wwe. title and you are just outnumbered cena. oh by the way cena will get another title shot anytime any place and any where in this arena. Congradulations to all the 2009 Slammy Award winners. I love you wwe very much.

What are they doing with CM PUNK? Its so sad to see CM Punk get squashed like that, he has so much potential. Randy Orton Should have won the Superstar of the Year, He dismantled the McMahon Family, He won the WWE Championship 3 times, his transition into becoming “The Viper” was just amazing, he was ruthless, calculated and down right sadistic. But whats with the Global Warming mock by Dennis Miller wtf.

you have got to laugh at McMahon calling his own crowd lousy and blaming them for it. Raw was garbage, I be as dead as that to if i had to sit through that live. Vince your show is shit and it’s your fault not ours. I mean if the rumars are true and they are changing SD and ECW it shows just how arrogant and stupid they are. Leave a good show like Smackdown alone and focus on the shittest wrestling show of the year Raw. F**king f**kwits.
