- At a recent WWE creative meeting, Michael Hayes brought up the idea of doing something to “write Shane McMahon out of the promotion.” Hayes brought this up only as an idea in front of other writers and to the best of anyone’s knowledge, has not mentioned it in front of the McMahons yet.

Besides that, the creative team is taking Shane’s departure as something that is a taboo subject to talk about, especially in public. Triple H has been asked by wrestlers what’s the story with Shane leaving and he’s been saying he knows as much as everyone else does, which nobody believes.
