Original Plans for Punk vs. Taker, WWE Pot Fine Correction and More

Source: Wrestling Observer Newsletter

– In a correction from an earlier report, the fine for testing positive for marijuana in WWE was actually increased to $2,500, not $2,000. Naturally, this has talent who were getting fined regularly unhappy.

– During the month of the July, WWE drew 13.6 million unique visitors to its website and averaged 581 orders on WWEshop.com per day.

– Regarding CM Punk’s World Heavyweight Title defense against The Undertaker at this Sunday’s Breaking Point pay-per-view, plans called for Taker to beat Punk and win the title when the match was initially laid out. No word yet if those plans still stand. Punk will be defending his title in a Submission match.

HUGE SPOILER CHANGED FOR BREAKING POINT, NEW DX PLANS, LEGACY AND MORE…..
