Spoilers: ECW on SyFy Tapings – 9/1/2009

Posted by Marc Middleton in ECW Results, WWE News on Tuesday, September 1st, 2009

- Below are spoilers for tonight’s ECW on SyFy broadcast. Thanks to WNW, Jimmy Davis and Jordan Basenback for these results:

Dark Match:

* b. Jimmy Wang Yang

ECW (Airing tonight on SyFy):

* b. Zack Ryder with Pay Dirt. Ryder landed the majority of the offense in the beginning but Shelton came back for the win. I’m told the crowd was pro-Shelton but not very loud for the short match.

* vs. Sheamus in a no disqualification match is announced as the show’s main event.

* The Abraham Washington Show is up next. Tony Atlas comes out as the new announcer for the show. I’m told his mic is inaudible to the live audience. Tony plays the Ed McMahon role during the monologue and makes Arsenio Hall and LeBron James jokes. Gregory Helms, not Hurricane, is the guest. Paul & Katie Lea Burchill come out. Atlas says Katie Lea is hot as Hurricane comes on the screen and challenges Paul to a match next week. Burchill gets heat from the crowd.

* & Ezekiel Jackson w/ b. Jim Parks & Mike Tolar (local workers). After the match and Christian come out and take out Regal, Kozlov and Jackson with kendo sticks.

* & Christian vs. Ezekiel Jackson & is announced for next week.

* Sheamus b. in a no disqualification match. The pair lockup to start the match. Shortly after, Sheamus tries to leave but chases him and throws him back in the ring. The match goes back and forth but Sheamus gets the win with his finisher. No weapons were used.
