- According to Marc Berman, Saturday’s WWE WrestleMania 25 special garnered 3.97 million viewers for NBC. The one-hour show was third in its timeslot, earning a 1.3/4 in the adults 18-49 demographic. While the number is not outstanding, the special did build on its “Law & Order: CI” lead-in. The final broadcast rating, as well as a clarification on whether the aforementioned data accounts for the NFL pre-emptions, should be available soon.
- The Air Canada Centre website reports that former WWE Women’s Champion Trish Stratus will host the 9/14 RAW in Canada.
- With Rey Mysterio beginning his WWE suspension this coming Wednesday, the earliest he will be able to return to TV is the WWE Hell in a Cell pay-per-view on October 4th or the SmackDown tapings on October 6th.
