Tara’s Mistake on iMPACT Last Week, Familiar Face Coming to TNA?

– Jeremy Borash posted a message on his Twitter account teasing a ‘familiar face’ taking part in the upcoming TNA Knockouts tag title tournament. He wrote: “I’ve heard there will be a familiar face in the upcoming Knockouts tag title tournament you probably wouldn’t expect.”

– During a backstage segment on last week’s episode of iMPACT, Tara said TNA creating the Knockout Tag Team Championship was something “WWE would have never thought of.” To clarify, a Women’s Tag Team Championship has in fact graced a WWE ring. The Women’s Tag Team Championship was established in 1983 and lasted through 1989 when it was abandoned. The belts notably changed hands during the inaugural Royal Rumble as The Jumping Bomb Angels (Noriyo Tateno and Itsuki Yamazaki) defeated The Glamour Girls (Judy Martin and Leilani Kai) in a two out of three falls match.
