- Vince McMahon turns 64 years old today.

- Joey Styles posted the following on Twitter last night: “WWE.com has checked the replay. Christian defeated William Regal to retain the ECW Title in only 8 seconds…a new SummerSlam record!”

- Talk backstage at SummerSlam last night was that the reason for the crazy finish to John Cena vs. Randy Orton was to setup the submission match between Cena and Orton at the Breaking Point pay-per-view.

- Everyone was in great spirits at last night’s pay-per-view at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. Aside from a few mishaps, the SummerSlam pay-per-view was considered to be a success and there were no major incidents backstage. Nothing has been said yet, but I’m sure we will hear a report about Vince McMahon losing it during the Cena vs. Orton match where things got out of whack for a minute.
