Partial source: PWInsider

– Happy birthday to WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan, who is celebrating his 56th birthday today. He was born on August 11, 1953.

– Multiple sources are reporting that former TNA agent Scott D’Amore will be returning to the company soon. D’Amore left TNA back in 2008 and is expected to take over recently-released agent Savio Vega’s job of working with the Knockouts division.

– Mandy.com, which features information on casting calls and jobs in the entertainment industry, currently has a listing seeking female extras (any age, any ethnicity) for a Ric Flair rap music video. The description reads, “The Ric Flair video will be a high concept fast pace hip hop video that focus on the essence of hip hop : big energy, good rhythm, and some dance moves.” The one-day shoot takes place on August 21st in New York City. Ladies, send those headshots to qwkfilms@gmail.com. Don’t worry, Flair won’t be rapping, the video is for the hip hop group R.Me’s new single, “Ric Flair.”

– Apparently there has been talk within TNA about Spike TV possibly airing an all X-Division TV series. No other details are known yet.

You mean, TNA is thinking of making a TV show filled with superstars that put TNA on the map in the first place? Making a show that’ll attract ROH stars? Something that ECW should be instead? A show that the fans wanted in the first place? I dunno, that sounds like too much of a good idea for that to happen.
