- Main Event Mafia member Scott Steiner turned 47 years old this past Wednesday.

- TNA Knockout Jenna Morasca wrote on her Twitter account that she will be on the entertainment television news program Extra today alongside boyfriend Ethan Zohn. Zohn was recently diagnosed with cancer. He is currently in stage 2 of the disease and is undergoing chemotherapy.

- Shawn Daivari (a/k/a Sheik Abdul Bashir) has posted a blog on his official website, ShawnDaivari.com, addressing his contract status with TNA. There were reports going around saying he had signed a three-year deal with the company, but according to him, they are inaccurate. A contract was only recently put into effect and he is only signed on with TNA for the next year.

“Onto business matters, as it has been reported around the internet that I had signed with TNA they weren’t 100% true,” Daivari wrote. “We were in a renegotiating process when that was reported. And I can be the first to tell you as of this week a new contract has been put into effect. So I will be a part of TNA at minimum for the next year, but maybe longer.”
