Dana White Speaks on Lesnar’s Next Opponent, UFC 100 Buys, More

– Dana White was on ESPN’s 1st and 10 this morning, talking UFC 100 and . White discussed the antics of after his fight with Frank Mir. White was upset that Lesnar went after Mir, and stated that the UFC fans don’t want that. He commended GSP and Thiago Alves for their class after the fight they had. White noted that Brock apologized and felt bad about his actions.

– White also said that he is insulted when people call UFC fake, and says that is the farthest thing from the truth. He also said one show or one action by one fighter will not damage the UFC.

– White then put over Brock as an athlete, and says he is the real deal. Brock’s actions do not diminish his accomplishments.

– Dana says any publicity is not good publicity. Brock just got caught up in the moment and went a bit nuts.

– White confirms that the winner of the upcoming Shane Carwin vs. Cain Velasquez bout will face Brock Lesnar for the title.

– White says they will get a good idea of the buys for UFC 100 today, but he has been told that the trending has them over 1 million buys.
