– WWE is looking at new ways to reward fans who purchase consecutive monthly pay-per-view events. They’re doing a promotion where if you buy Night of Champions and SummerSlam, you get a WWE Championship belt wrist watch.
– Jeff Hardy was recently interviewed on Spain’s Four Network and confirmed that he hasn’t signed a contract extension with WWE yet and when asked if he would, he said, “I don’t know… I am 31-years-old now, and I don’t like making plans for the future. I can wrestle until I am 40, but I don’t want to make plans, I don’t like thinking about what could happen between now and the next five years.”
Hardy noted that his shoulder is fine these days but his finger is still hurting him. Jeff also said his best friends in the locker room were Chris Jericho and Rey Mysterio and that if he could wrestle anyone at WrestleMania, it would be Shawn Michaels. Hardy said, “He [Michaels] has inspired me a lot throughout the years and has proven to be one of the best wrestlers there is; for his technique, style, things he does. I take my hat off to him. He is the one who inspires me.”
