– After finishing in second place on the NBC reality show “I’m A Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here,” former WWE Diva Torrie Wilson tells EOnline.com that she is planing to release a workout video in the near future. “While I was in the jungle trying to figure many different ways to get my workout in, I decided I’m going to do a workout video,” she said. “That is on the immediate horizon.”
– According to the Los Angeles Business Journal, video game publisher THQ is developing their own game-specific control accessory (similar to instruments players use in “Rock Band”), set to be released in 2010. THQ’s Chief Executive Brian Farrell is quoted saying, “We have something that we think is different from anything else out there and will give us a competitive advantage,” Farrell said. “Beyond that, we can’t say much.” THQ publishes WWE’s SmackDown vs. RAW series and the article sarcastically suggests that THQ might be developing a steel chair controller.
– From Keith Lipinski: The World Heavyweight Champion was seen last night at the Rancid/Rise Against show last night in Milwaukee Wisconsin at Summerfest. Rancid dedicated a song “Last One to Die” to Punk who watched the show from the side of the stage. Later in the show, Lars threw his water bottle at Punk and Punk flipped him off.
– WWE Intercontinental Champion Chris Jericho noted on his Twitter page that he was enjoying some drinks after Michael Jackson’s death. Jericho wrote: Totally drunk in protest of michaels death… and Michael could be the best dancer/ singer ever…
