WWE Takes Macho Man Signs, Interesting Notes on This Week’s RAW, More

Posted by Marc Middleton in WWE News on Wednesday, June 24th, 2009

- Anthony sent word that several signs related to “Macho Man” were confiscated at RAW in Green Bay on Monday night. This is odd considering WWE just put out a Savage DVD set.

- Devin Cutting sent the following: The Pepsi Center and Ticketmaster are parting ways and TicketHorse will be the arena’s new sole official ticketing agent, effective July 1st, 2009. After the Denver Debacle happened, fans seeking refunds did not get all of their money back as they were forced to pay Ticketmaster’s processing fees with nothing to show for it. No word on if the Pepsi Center switching ticketing agents has anything to do with the Denver Debacle, but the timing is interesting.

- As noted earlier, this week’s commercial free RAW scored a 4.5 cable rating. The show did hours of 4.2 and 4.8 with 6.8 million viewers tuning in from 4,475,000 households. This week’s RAW was the most watched episode since the March 25th, 2002 episode of RAW featuring the first ever WWE Draft. RAW was watched this week by more people than any show on FOX, CW, NBC or ABC and was watched by 2,251,000 females – beating any show on CW or Lifetime.
