- Highspots will be bringing WWE Hall of Famers Jim Ross and Jerry Lawler to sign autographs and meet fans before the Dragon Gate USA show on September 6th in Chicago at the Congress Theater. Former WWE Diva Dawn Marie will also be signing autographs. Tickets for Ross and Lawler can be purchased through Highspots.com.

- Several former WWE talents including Nick “Eugene” Dinsmore, Joey Matthews, Rob Conway and others have left the former WWE developmental territory Ohio Valley Wrestling. Long-time OVW star Serena Deeb, who is in talks with WWE, has also left. WWE recently visited OVW to look at talents and some of the OVW stars hung around in hopes of getting another shot with WWE. However, OVW owner Danny Davis is more focused on the Vyper Fighting League these days that former WWE Superstar JBL is involved with. Davis being focused more on MMA these days is said to have put things on hold for OVW.
