– Regarding debates that UFC and WWE are not in competition for viewers, some recent demographic research shows that the fan base is much more similar than UFC & boxing’s fan base. When CBS aired the Elite XC shows, the strongest markets in ratings were the strongest regional wrestling markets and had no similarity to strong boxing markets.
