Theme for WWE’s Extreme Rules PPV, Randy Savage Update, More

– Australian band Sick Puppies have announced on their website Sickpuppies.net that WWE has chosen their single “You’re Going Down” as the official theme song for the Extreme Rules pay-per-view next month. The band will release their album Tripolar on July 14th on Virgin Records. Lead singer Shimon Moore said in a press release: “I just wrote a song I thought someone would want to fight to. I asked myself, when you’re getting pumped up to get into the ring, what would you want to hear? And that’s what came out.”

– The webmaster for Randy Savage’s website at MachoMadness.com has launched an online petition for WWE to induct Savage into the Hall of Fame. It seems like a long shot but once they get 100,000 signatures they’re going to deliver it to WWE.

– Buckcherry, the band behind the WWE Judgment Day theme “Rescue Me” will be chatting on WWE’s website tonight for their RAW chat.

– There were 14,822 fans at the Allstate Arena last night for Judgment Day, making it a sellout.
