- Kurt Angle has a new role in a MMA movie titled “Warrior.” The movie is being filmed in Kurt’s hometown of Pittsburgh and he plays a Russian fighter named Koba. Also appearing in the movie are Nick Nolte and Jennifer Morrison of Star Trek fame. The movie is supposed to release sometime in 2010. The plot has two sons entering a rough MMA tournament that has a $5 million prize.

- Jeremy Borash noted on his Twitter page that LAX’s Hernandez is expected to be out of action for three months following fusion surgery on his T1 and C7 vertebrae.

- Ring of Honor announced today that former WWE, ECW and WCW star Lance Storm will be coming out of retirement to work their two shows in Toronto on July 25th at the Ted Reeve Arena. No word yet on who Storm’s opponents will be. Other names appearing in a non-wrestling capacity that weekend include WWE Hall of Famers Bret Hart and Ric Flair.
