More on WWE’s Upcoming WCW DVD, Vince Pulls Two Names from Movie

– Former WWE writer Alex Greenfield has a new project debuting on Spike TV this Sunday at 10PM called Street Warrior. In an interesting note, Greenfield wanted both JBL and Mark Henry to have roles in the film and both of them ended up auditioning. At the time, Vince McMahon put a stop to his Superstars getting involved apparently because he doesn’t want his talent involved in anything that would end up airing on Spike TV. On a related note, The Bella Twins are up for a “Hottest Twins” award at the upcoming Spike TV awards show.

– Eric Bischoff noted on his Twitter page that Ted Turner — Vince McMahon’s arch nemesis — declined World Wrestling Entertainment’s offer to take part in their upcoming “Rise and Fall of WCW” DVD. Bischoff also notes speaking to former TBS president Bill Shaw, who helped him rise to power in World Championship Wrestling in the early-1990s. He says Shaw declined to participate in WWE’s project as well.
