– The Learning Channel was backstage shooting at WWE’s Backlash pay-per-view doing a feature on Shiloh Pepin, age 9, known as the “mermaid girl” because of her deformities at birth. Shiloh and her family were brought to Backlash through the efforts of Dan Mirade, “Superstar” Billy Graham and John Cena Sr. She got to meet with WWE Superstars but was scared badly by the pyro and ended up leaving after the second match. Shiloh left with a replica WWE Women’s Title belt signed by Cena and Graham. Cena Sr. and Mirade are trying to raise funds for her to attend a camp this year.
– Former WWE developmental territory Deep South Wrestling has filed suit against WWE. No more details are known yet but DSW owner Joe “The Assassin” Hamilton is being represented by James D. McGuire of the Atlanta based McGuire, Crohan and Klinger firm. When asked to comment on the suit, Hamilton replied, “Deep South isn’t going to roll over and play dead, and I’m not either. It’s time to fight back.”
– In the latest episode of Santino’s Casa over at WWE.com, Santino and “girlfriend” Beth Phoenix visited a relationship counselor. During the episode, Beth reveals that Santino wets the bed when he drinks too much “Yoo-hoo” chocolate milk.
