- According to a press release issued by WWE today, Vince McMahon will replace Linda McMahon as the host of the first quarter earnings report conference call on Thursday, May 7.

- Jerry “The King” Lawler appeared on The Bob & Tom Show this morning promoting the premiere episode of WWE Superstars tonight on WGN America. WGN America airs an hour-long TV show taken from the day’s radio broadcast at midnight ET Monday through Friday, so you may able to catch Lawler’s interview tonight.

- Today is Vickie Guerrero’s birthday. The General Manager of Raw turns 41 years old.

- In an interview this past week with www.ClubWWI.com, John Cena Sr., father of the WWE Superstar, basically said some of WWE’s storylines don’t make much sense.

“Vincent Kennedy McMahon, who I have a great deal of respect for, one of the greatest guys in the business that I know today has come out and I think he started it all when he said, ‘Now it’s sports entertainment’,” Cena Sr. said. “Yeah, they tell a story, but you know, some of the stories they tell, and I’m gonna probably get my head kicked in by son but, you know, some of the stories they tell just don’t make too much sense.”
