The Latest on Debra, Tough Enough Stars at WrestleMania, More

– World Wrestling Entertainment has issued a press release touting WWE Superstars, a first run, original program airing exclusively on WGN America starting next Thursday. The hour-long weekly program will showcase WWE Superstars and Divas from all three WWE brands — Raw, SmackDown and ECW. The new series will be available in HD and air on Thursday nights in prime time at 8:00 p.m. and 11:00 p.m. ET with an additional airing on Sundays at noon.

– Former WWE Diva Debra Marshall, who is trying to get back in wrestling, was at the hotel WWE was staying at the night before WrestleMania. Due to heat with company officials, the former WWE Women’s Champion is looking to join TNA since she has a past alliance with Jeff Jarrett. She is also back to using the name Debra McMichael.

– There was something of a Tough Enough alumni reunion this past weekend at the hotel WWE was staying at with Jackie Gayda, Chris Nowinski, Josh Matthews, John Morrison, Mike “The Miz” Mizanin and Nidia Guenard at the hotel during the week. Nowinski was on hand for Booker T’s wrestling convention and Guenard lives in Houston.
