– There was a lot of discussion this past weekend among independent wrestlers in regards to the much lower rate WWE was willing to offer talents to come in and work as security and extras. As a result, some of the more established indy talents passed on the offer to work WrestleMania, which opened the door for greener talents — some of whom were described as disrespectful of the wrestling business.
– WWE has the WrestleMania XXV program and Hall of Fame 2009 program up for sale on WWEShop.com.
– Broadcasting & Cable has an article today on WGN America rebranding the network this month in time for the launch of several new series, including WWE Superstars. They have also unveiled a brand new logo.
– Infrequently seen WWE Diva Candice Michelle is hoping to be moved to SmackDown following next week’s draft.

“I shared a ride to the airport with her and was on her plane leaving Houston. She mentioned she was looking forward to a few days off to heal her ankle more, because she was on it way too much this past weekend.
She also stated that she hopes to be on Smackdown after the draft as it will help in her recovery. Not exactly sure why, but she was extremely nice person.”
