– Apparently WWE realized that with the time constraints at the Hall of Fame, something was missing from the ceremony on Saturday night. Word is that WWE officials plan to sit down and interview the 2009 Class and give them a chance to discuss their careers more than they did on Saturday. These interviews will likely appear on the WrestleMania 25 DVD.
– Actor Michael Clark Duncan, who is a huge WWE fan, was at the WrestleMania after-party last night in Houston. Word is that the party was a fun, low key affair.
– Other names at WrestleMania and in town for the events this weekend were Lacey Von Erich, Mean Street Posse member Pete Gas and Chris Nowinski. Nidia also visited several WWE talents at the hotel over the weekend and she was pretty much considered to be a lock for the battle royal but obviously wasn’t.
– Mickey Rourke stayed at the same hotel as the WWE Superstars in Houston over the weekend and held court with a lot of the guys, spending a bunch of time with Ric Flair, Afa the Wild Samoan and Roddy Piper. Rourke was approachable to everyone from WWE though. Rourke also spent a lot of time with Diana Hart, the mother of DH Smith.
