– We go to some video highlights from the various events in Houston, Texas over the past weekend including AXXESS and the WrestleMania Golf Tournament. Everything looks pretty cool.
– Lilian Garcia introduces Kid Rock and he starts his set off with Bawitdaba. Rock comes out on the stage and gets the crowd hype. At one point, the Rock paused so the fans could fill in his lyrics and it was a complete silence on the fans end. Very odd moment. Rock does a few more songs including Rock ‘n Roll Jesus, Cowboy and his recent single he stole from Lynyrd Skynyrd. Besides more than one odd moment, it wasn’t a bad performance.
25 Divas Battle Royal to Crown Miss WrestleMania
As soon as Kid Rock is done, Todd Grisham announces the 25 Divas Battle Royal and they’re all already in the ring fighting. Another odd moment. Rosa goes out first. Mae Young and Candice are sitting at ringside. Layla was actually eliminated before the introduction was finished. Santino is in there dressed as a girl. Sunny doesn’t look too bad. Jillian is working on Victoria. It’s pretty much Divas chaos here. It looks like Tiffany goes over. Jackie Gayda is looking nice. Another blonde goes over but the announcers don’t even know who it was. It was Torrie. Sunny is also gone.
Victoria eliminates Maria and Mickie tries to eliminate Victoria. One of the Bella Twins and Jillian go over the top rope at the same time and land hard. The announcers don’t seem too thrilled about the match either. Tiffany just now goes over. Mae is the guest bell ringer tonight, Lawler says. Beth Phoenix eliminates Kelly Kelly and Molly Holly and then Maryse. Beth threw Maryse over and she basically rolled off the apron. The Bella Twins attack Victoria and Beth eliminates one of them. I thought one of the Bellas got thrown over already but apparently not. McCool and Mickie go at it and Mickie takes her down to get fired up. McCool fights Mickie on the top and goes to suplex her but can’t. They fight it out on the top turnbuckle for a good minute as Santino in drag stands behind them. Mickie and McCool fall off the top turnbuckle and are out. Melina and Beth go at it now as Santino watches, in drag.
Beth picks Melina up in her finisher and tries to throw her over the top rope. Melina hangs on and they get tied up on the ropes before both Divas fall to the floor in shock. Santino Marella is the last “Diva” left in the ring to be the winner.
Winner: Santina Marella
After the match, Candice comes in the ring with the crown and Todd Grisham. Santino says she is Santina, the twin sister from Italy and he is announced as the winner. Candice puts the sash and crown on Santina as he cries and kisses at the fans. Comedy stuff here that was pretty predictable. Santino starts to dance and stuff and it’s becoming too much. Santina does a split.

Flair is dressed in a suit and the crowd pops big as the Legends make their way to the ring.
Cole reminds us Jericho must pin all three guys to win. The bell rings and the Legends argue about who is going to start. Piper wins the argument and starts off tackling Jericho. Piper clotheslines Jericho over the ropes and to the floor. Piper is going insane, slamming Jericho’s head into the table and then the apron. Jericho rocks him as Piper comes in the ring. Piper rolls Jericho up for a 2 count. Piper lands a dropkick on Jericho and goes to work in the corner. Piper tags in Snuka, who headbutts Jericho coming in. Snuka hits Jericho with chops and a right hand. Snuka knocks down Jericho and tags in Steamboat. Ricky comes flying off the top with vintage Dragon and a series of arm drags on Jericho. Steamboat looks good, better than the other 2 as he works on Jericho some more. Snuka is tagged in for a bit of double teaming and Jericho still hasn’t gotten much offense. Jericho grabs Snuka out of nowhere for the Walls of Jericho on Snuka and he taps.

Jericho drops him for the Walls of Jericho and locks it partially. Steamboat rolls out of it and pins Jericho for a 2 count. Steamboat counters another move but Jericho nails the Codebreaker for the pinfall and the win.
Winner: Chris Jericho
After the match, Jericho celebrates as Flair looks on pissed. Flair rushes the ring and ends up knocking Jericho down with all kinds of chops and stuff. Jericho catches Flair and drops him from up high. Jericho lays Flair out with the Codebreaker. Jericho kicks Flair out of the ring and asks for a mic. Jericho says he is the best in the world at what he does and he did just what he said he would do – erase and eliminate the Legends forever. Jericho says he has one more piece of business and points out Mickey Rourke. Jericho talks about Rourke backing down and says he, Jericho, is a tough guy in real life. He tells Rourke to come in the ring and apologize. Frank Shamrock is watching beside Rourke. Jericho tells Rourke to come in the ring or he will come slap him. Jericho keeps egging him on. Rourke takes his watch off.
Rourke enters the ring area to a big pop from the crowd. A Mickey chant breaks out as he takes his jacket off and approaches the steps. Mickey looks a bit hesitant. Rourke walks up the steps to the ring and the crowd pops for him. Rourke takes his hat off and leans on the ropes, mocking Jericho a bit. Jericho watches from the other side of the ring as Rourke enters the ring. Rourke starts moving around like a boxer as Jericho mocks him. Mickey backs Jericho up with a few left hand jabs towards the face. Jericho balls his fists up as Rourke goes for a few body shots but doesn’t connect. Jericho moves in as Rourke ducks and comes back up with a big left hook, dropping Jericho. Ric Flair rushes the ring to raise Mickey’s hand. Jericho holds the back of his head as he heads to the back. Flair and Rourke embrace in the ring as we go to replays. They wave to the crowd some as we go to a video break. For some reason I don’t think this was the reaction WWE was hoping for.
