TNA Working with MTV Again, Traci Brooks Update, Angle-Sting, More

– You may remember that TNA stars Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin appeared on MTV’s Made program, training an openly gay teenage guy how to be a wrestler. TNA is set to work with MTV and Made again and this time a female will be the focus.

– Kurt Angle was frustrated with his match with Sting at Destination X. The TNA World Heavyweight Champion was unable to do the match laid out backstage and was often out of position in spots.

– If Sting is still the TNA World Heavyweight Champion on the morning of April 19th, he will go into the Lockdown pay-per-view as the longest reigning TNA Champion to date and also will have the longest World Title reign of his entire career. This reign will be one day longer than his 1990-1991 NWA Title reign of 188 days. Currently Samoa Joe holds the record for longest TNA Title reign at 182 days in 2008.

– TNA Knockout Traci Brooks posted a blog on her MySpace account regarding her recent trip to Iraq visiting troops. Brooks wrote: “So Cal Val and I are back safe and sound..a little injured(my poor chest) jet lagged and worn out but what an amazing experience…it is so hard to sum up the trip…how do we describe what we saw, what we experienced, or how it changed the way we look at life?”

Brooks said her trip to Iraq made her look at things a lot differently. The Knockout wrote: “i said before it was so strange for me to hear them say thank you…thank you for what? it was only 10 days out of our lives and they spend up to a yr over there and alot of them were kids on their 2nd or 3rd tours..and they are saying thank you to us?…it makes you look at life alot differently, to appreciate everything.”
