It has been confirmed that Travis “Tyson” , 32, was released from his contract with World Wrestling Entertainment a few weeks ago. re-signed with the company in November.

Tomko’s first match back in the company was a dark match prior to the December 15, 2008 episode of Raw in a winning effort over Paul Burchill. However, he was greatly limited by a torn pec and thought he looked terrible during his lone outing. The former TNA World Tag Team Champion looked noticeably soft during the match.

WWE’s Senior Vice President of Talent Relations John Laurinaitis took a lot of heat over signing Tomko. There was a feeling he should have had a full medical exam before signing him to see if there was a major injury.
