- Readers Cary J. and Marshall sent word that JBL had a new blog on the WWE Universe site, mentioning that his historic plans for WrestleMania were “not related” to defending the Intercontinental Championship and that he has been hinting at something else. Marshall noted that JBL said he continues the pledge that his plans will shock the wrestling world. I checked the WWE Universe site and couldn’t find a recent blog by JBL. So unless it’s been pulled or something, take this one for what it’s worth.

- There was some surprise within WWE and the wrestling industry when it was announced that Koko B. Ware would be going into the WWE Hall of Fame this year. It’s said that even The Honky Tonk Man expressed shock when he was called by WWE officials about inducting someone and found out it was going to be Koko. There’s a feeling that WWE could have picked a Superstar more deserving of the honor.

Furthermore, one source says that RAW writer Brian Gewirtz made the humorous pitch to induct Koko into the Hall. The story goes that even Vince McMahon was caught off guard by the pitch but decided on it when Gewirtz brought up the idea of creating the link between Koko’s induction and the Legends of WrestleMania video game.
