Update on the Divas at WrestleMania, ECW’s Pecking Order, More

– We don’t have exact sales figures, but WWE’s Voices CD finished at No. 156 last week on the Billboard chart.

– In an interesting note, the roster sheet we posted last week for the March 2, 2009 Raw featured what looks to be the pecking order for talent in World Wrestling Entertainment.

All of the performers in the company were divided by brand, as well as sides (babyface and heel). It would appear that the performers were listed in order of importance/usefulness at the moment, from the company’s view. For instance, and were listed as the top heel wrestlers on Raw, with seldom-used wrestlers Sim Snuka and listed at the bottom. Wrestlers such as and were listed below the likes of and on the list, but they’re inactive, so they’re not really below them on the WWE pecking order. Due to their inactivity, Batista and Kennedy are of no use to WWE for the week’s set of TV tapings, which explains why they’re listed at the bottom. Technically, Haas and would be of greater use to WWE for the week’s tapings than Batista and Kennedy because they’re both active, unlike them.

According to the roster sheet, here is the pecking order for the ECW roster (as of Thursday, February 26, 2009):

Babyface ECW Superstars: Christian, (w/), , Boogeyman, Ricky Ortiz, DJ Gabriel, (injured)

Heel ECW Superstars: , , , (w/Tony Atlas), , Paul Burchill

– Two more former WWE Divas in Nora “Molly Holly” Greenwald and Terri Runnels will not be taking part in the 25-Diva Battle Royal at XXV in Houston.

While Greenwald has no plans to participate in the match, she will be signing autographs at the Axxess event during WrestleMania weekend. In other Greenwald news, she will be departing on Monday for a two-week trip to Afghanistan.

Runnels has plans to join Greenwald on the trip as she will be taking part in the 10-day Divas of Wrestling Goodwill Military Tour. Regarding the 25-Diva Battle Royal at WrestleMania, Runnels has no interest in wrestling women.

“Female matches are not my thing,” Runnels commented.

Runnels still has WrestleMania-related plans though. Following the trip to Afghanistan, she will be hosting an unofficial WrestleMania XXV event during WrestleMania weekend in Taylor, Michigan.
