– TNA announced earlier today that Danny Bonaduce, who competed in the first season of Hulk Hogan’s Celebrity Championship Wrestling on CMT, would be wrestling at the April 19th Lockdown pay-per-view in Philadelphia, PA. It appears Bonaduce will be wrestling a member of the TNA roster with a special contract signing scheduled as part of an on-air angle for Bonaduce’s morning show on WYSP (94.1 FM) in Philly.
Kurt Angle appeared on Bonaduce’s show a week or so ago to promote Lockdown. Bonaduce threw out an open challenge for any of his CCW cast members to wrestle him at Lockdown, and was especially eager to face Dennis Rodman, even willing to put up $10,000 of his own money to get Rodman in the six sides of steel. Angle said that if nobody from CCW accepted Danny’s challenge, then TNA would book him with a TNA star instead. Bonaduce agreed to that idea and so here we are.
