- The Hollywood Reporter noted yesterday that WWE Studios is involved with a planned relaunch of the 1980’s films “Missing In Action” starring Chuck Norris. There is work being done on a modernized version of the movie that is set in the Middle East during the current Iraq conflict.

WWE Studios would be helping to finance the film, which is being planned as a direct-to-DVD release, and co-produce it. The script is in the developmental stage and as of now, no WWE talents are attached to it. Norris, who appeared at the 1994 Survivor Series, played a Vietnam veteran returning to rescue prisoners of war in the original Missing In Action films.
