— There were some creative team changes made today within WWE, but we don’t have full details yet other than John Carle has been relieved of his duties.
— USA Network was #1 in cable again this week, averaging a 2.5 rating for their primetime programming. While WWE claimed RAW was the highest rated show on cable last week, the two hours of RAW were actually #2 and #3 behind The Closer on TNT which did a 4.6 rating. RAW’s two hours were #1 and #5 in the 18-34 demographic, with Top Chef, Family Guy and the Girls Next Door taking the #2-4 slots.
Things aren’t so good for SmackDown’s home however, nor their former home, as MyNetworkTV averaged a 0.88 while CW averaged a 0.93. Without Smackdown, MyNetwork would be down to a 0.60 average.
