Update on Evan Bourne’s Return, WWE Ends Backstage Practice, More

- should be cleared to make his return to the ring anytime now. The rising ECW star was scheduled to be seen by a doctor last week for clearance. Bourne has been out of action since October 28 due to a dislocated ankle and a torn deltoid ligament.

- In a cost cutting measure, WWE is no longer allowing wrestlers to get “draws” from producers on the road. It was a long standing tradition for wrestlers to get a cash advance to help their expenses on the road, which would then later be deducted from their paychecks. The company did away with the practice around the time they let Tim White go, who had been handling the responsibility.

- THQ will be releasing a downloadable demo of their Legends of video game on Thursday, allowing players to recreate vs. Andre the Giant from III. The game will be officially released three weeks from now on March 24.
