– Former WWE referee Mickey Jay is doing good with his chemotherapy treatment. While he has lost some of his hair, he hasn’t lost any weight and is being treated in Cleveland, Ohio. Mickey was visiting friends at the RAW show in Cleveland a few weeks back. WWE released Mickey when they made the most recent round of cuts even though he had been promised he would be kept around until he beat cancer.
– In an update to the earlier Gail Kim post, WWE pulled the video from their website yesterday before SmackDown aired. The vignette for her return then aired on SmackDown Friday night and is back on WWE’s website.
– WGN’s website at WGNAmerica.com is running a contest for a trip to two to WrestleMania 25 in Houston, TX. The contest ends on March 8th and runner-ups receive copies of WWE’s Legends of WrestleMania game. WGN is also running ads on TV for the contest and the new Superstars show which debuts on Thursday, April 16th at 8PM EST. The ad teases Superstars from RAW, ECW and SmackDown will be on the show.
– Christian Cage received a nice “Welcome Back” chant from the crowd at the RAW/ECW live event in Bristol, TN last night after his match with ECW Champion Jack Swagger.
