The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that TNA’s current plans for the Destination X PPV call for a main event of Sting vs. Kurt Angle for the TNA World Heavyweight Championship. Because the Main Event Mafia has been interfering in the Sting/Angle confrontations on iMPACT, expect this match to have some sort of ban on the Mafia from ringside. The feeling is that TNA absolutely needs to do a clean finish with this match, especially since it’s on PPV.

The Ultimate X match will of course be returning at the PPV and right now it looks like it will feature several wrestlers including Alex Shelly, Chris Sabin, Consequences Creed, Jay Lethal and 2 to 3 others.

Beer Money is expected to begin a program with Team 3D in the near future, and the PPV will likely feature a tag title match between the two teams.

Samoa Joe vs. Scott Steiner is pretty much confirmed, and AJ Styles vs. Booker T for the Legend’s Title is expected to be announced soon.
