Chris Jericho in a New Movie, Goldman Comments on Release, Punk, More

- WWE Hall of Famer Sgt. Slaughter will be appearing at an upcoming Mahoning Valley Scrappers game on July 17th.

- WWE Intercontinental Champion CM Punk will be at the Epiphone Revolver Golden God Awards in Los Angeles, CA on April 7th to present an award.

- A new movie titled Albino Farm has been picked up by MTI Home Video to be released on DVD this fall. The movie features WWE Superstar Chris Jericho. He worked on the film while gone from WWE before he returned last year.

- Speaking of Jericho, his appearance that was taped last Friday for the Bonnie Hunt Show will finally air on syndication this coming Monday.

- Former WWE SmackDown Superstar Scotty Goldman, who was released by WWE yesterday, posted the following on his MySpace page last night:

SEEYA!!!!!

Yes. I was released by WWE. There’s only two things that are on my mind right now.

1) Move back to Chicago.

2) Go to England and Professionally Wrestle Johnny Saint.

There’ll be a lot more to come, but for now, sit tight.
