Former WWE Stars Able to Work Now, Tonight’s SD/ECW TV Tapings, More

- Former WWE Superstar Elijah Burke’s ninety-day no-compete clause with WWE has officially expired (as has Kenny Dykstra and Lena Yada’s), so he’s free to conduct business with any wrestling entity now.

- Former TNA/WWE Diva Shelly Martinez has a new website at ShellyMartinez.com. The site won’t be officially launched until March 1, 2009 as it’s set to feature a pay section. Also, Martinez reunited with Kevin Thorn this past weekend at a wrestling convention in Staten Island, New York. Yesterday was also her birthday as she turned 29 years old.

- It’s interesting to note that former WWE announcer Jonathan Coachman was sitting in the anchor chair on ESPNews when the Alex Rodriguez-steroids story broke this past weekend. The former WWE performer editorialized on the improprieties of baseball players using steroids.

- WWE will tape tonight’s ECW on Sci-Fi and this week’s Friday Night SmackDown today from the Save Mart Center in Fresno, CA. No matches have been set for ECW yet. ’s return to SmackDown is confirmed for this week’s show to confront and updated advertisements for the show are listing vs. for the WWE Title, a Four Way with vs. vs. vs. and a special appearance by to take on .
