– Tonight’s WWE RAW kicks off with Lilian Garcia introducing WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair, live from Oakland, California. Flair’s music, the crowd pops and out comes The Nature Boy to the ring. Flair struts to the ring as Michael Cole welcomes us to RAW.
They flash a photo of Flair and Mickey Rourke from December on the screen. There’s tons of Flair signs in the crowd as Lawler hypes Naitch. Flair takes the mic and lets out a big “Whooooo!” Flair says it feels good to be out here again and he has missed everyone. Flair says this time a year ago he was fighting for his career. Flair talks about losing the retirement match to Shawn Michaels at Mania and the crowd boo’s HBK’s name. Flair says he has no regrets when Chris Jericho comes down the ramp, interrupting. Major heat for Jericho from the fans.
Jericho enters the ring and says he won’t allow Flair to waste valuable time out here tonight. He says Flair came here to address his comments from last week but he has a comment for Flair first. Jericho tells him to think back to the night after WrestleMania where Flair said goodbye and flashes video on the big screen of Flair hugging Jericho on the night after his retirement last year. Jericho says if he had known Flair would work with small time promoters and crave the spotlight like he does, he would not have hugged Flair but he would have slapped him in his face. Flair said had he known how much of a little insecure punk Jericho is, things would be different. Flair says he has never sold out and never will. Flair says he will never wrestle again because he has too much respect for WWE and Shawn Michaels. Flair says he is losing more and more respect for Jericho.
Flair talks about respecting the fans and Jericho insults them by calling them hypocrites. Jericho talks about Flair working with any promoter who will slap his face on a poster and the crowd breaks out in “YOU SUCK” chants. Jericho tells Flair he is the problem because he has to be in the spotlight. Flair says “yes, I do because I’m the Nature Boy. Whoooo!” Flair says he retired from the ring but will never retire from the business. Flair says he loves the fans ad loves being around them. Flair tells Jericho he will never wake up a day in his life and tell Flair how to run his life. He says he lives his life how he does because he can. Jericho says what he does with his life is none of Jericho’s business. Jericho calls himself a locker room leader and says he has a whole locker room full of people who respect him more than they do Flair. Jericho tells Flair eventually he will return to the ring because he can’t walk away from the business with any dignity at all. Jericho brings up The Wrestler movie. Jericho says the people could care less about Flair and any of the Legends.
Jericho tells Flair to stop, stop catering to the fans and letting them leech off of him. Jericho tells Flair to tell the fans he doesn’t need them anymore. Flair says straight up, no. Jericho says have it your way and asks the fans if they want to see a clown who falls on his face, keep your eyes on Ric Flair. He tells them to take out their cameras and get a shot of Ric Flair. Jericho tells Flair to strut and do his usual tricks for the fans. Jericho says Flair has nobody to blame for this but himself. Flair decks Jericho with a right hand and takes his coat off. Jericho rolls out to the floor holding his jaw as Flair bounces off the ropes and gets hyped up. Flair’s music plays as Jericho heads to the back and Flair slaps hands with fans at ringside before also heading to the back.
– Michael Cole and Jerry Lawler plug the Orton vs. Undertaker match for tonight and we cut to highlights of the Shane McMahon and Legacy feud before going to commercial break.
Beth Phoenix and Jillian Hall vs. Kelly Kelly and Melina
Back from commercial and Beth, Santino Marella, Rosa Mendez and Jillian are in the ring talking. Lawler announces that Melina will defend her Women’s Title against Beth Phoenix on next week’s RAW. Out next is the team of Kelly Kelly and Women’s Champion Melina.
Kelly and Jillian start the match off first. Jillian takes control but Kelly comes back with a dropkick and tags in Melina. Melina goes to work on Jillian but gets hit in the gut. The ref’s back is turned as Beth hits Melina and drops her. Jillian tags in Beth and she mounts Melina with rights and lefts. 2 count for Beth.
Beth works over Melina and drops her with a big body slam. Beth misses a splash on the mat and starts trading shots with Melina. Melina ducks a clothesline and kicks Beth in the mouth twice to get a 2 count. Melina drags Jillian in the ring and ducks Beth again. Melina bounces off the ropes but Rosa pulls the ropes, making her fall. Beth scoops her up for her facebuster finisher for the pinfall and the win.

– Cole and Lawler lead us into a video package showing highlights from WrestleMania 3 in 1987 with 93,173 fans in attendance for Hulk Hogan vs. Andre the Giant. We go back to commercial.
– Back from commercial and JBL is backstage. Shawn Michaels walks up and asks if he wanted to see him. JBL said he wanted to remind him of their match this Sunday. HBK asks if he thought he would have let that slip his mind or something. JBL reminds him he is still his employee and tells him he will have to face Mark Henry in a “tune-up” match on RAW tonight.
– Randy Orton’s music hits and he comes out to the stage area with Cody Rhodes and Ted DiBiase. Orton says lost in the McMahon controversy is the fact that he won the Royal Rumble. Orton reminds everyone he will main event WrestleMania against either the WWE or World Heavyweight Champion. Orton says he will be Champion. Orton says none of the McMahons can stand in his way. Orton says Stephanie is intimidated because she thought he was going to punt her last week. He says he was never going to do that, he just wanted to show Shane what could happen if he wanted it to. Orton talks with Cody and Ted as their music starts playing.
Cody Rhodes and Ted DiBiase vs. Cryme Tyme
Ted and Cody make their way to the ring as we go back to commercial. Their opponents will be Cryme Tyme, says Michael Cole.
Back from commercial and Cryme Tyme are headed to the ring. Cody and Shad start the match off with Shad eventually sending Cody to the floor. Ted comes in from behind after being tagged in and starts pummeling Shad. Cody comes back in and hits Shad with lots of punches and stomps. Ted is tagged in again and continues the attack on Shad.
Ted takes Shad to the mat and holds him until Shad powers out. Shad tries to tag in JTG but Ted gets to Cody and in they come trading shots. JTG clotheslines Cody and hits the blockbuster move. JTG hits the Mugshot in the corner for a 2 count as Ted makes the save. Shad dumps Ted over the top rope but he comes back and brings Shad to the floor with him. Cody comes up from behind and hits the Cross Rhodes move on JTG for the pinfall and the win.

– Cole leads us to a video package of John Cena hanging out with other celebrities at the Gillette razor launch party in Florida last week. We go back to commercial.
– Back from commercial and several players from the Oakland Raiders are shown sitting at ringside.
Kane, Chris Jericho and Mike Knox vs. John Cena, Rey Mysterio and Kofi Kingston
The pyro explodes and Kane is the first participant out for tonight’s six-man match. Out next is Mike Knox as Lawler and Cole plug the Elimination Chamber match. Out next is Chris Jericho. Rey Mysterio is out first for his team followed by Kofi Kingston and then World Heavyweight Champion John Cena.
We take a quick break before the match starts and come back to Kane in control of Kofi Kingston. Kofi comes back with a dropkick and a kick to the face in the corner. Kofi nails a crossbody from the top and hits his Boom Boom drop for a 2 count.
Kane levels Kofi with a clothesline and tags in Mike Knox, who comes in to keep punishing Kofi. Kofi dodges an attack in the corner and tags in Cena. Cena comes in and takes Knox down with a few shoulders and a big back drop. Cena hits the Five Knuckle Shuffle on Knox and picks him up for the Attitude Adjustment. The ref doesn’t see Kane deck Cena and break the move. Knox stomps on Cena and throws him to the floor. Kane rams Cena into the apron as the ref is distracted.
Kane comes back in as they keep Cena stuck in their corner. Jericho comes in now and catapults Cena’s neck into the bottom rope. Jericho taunts Rey and Kofi but turns around to a right from Cena. Cena runs the ropes but Jericho drops him on his face for a 2 count. Jericho locks on a sleeper variation as Cena tries to break free.
Jericho slams Cena and puts a knee into his throat before tagging Kane back in. Kane works Cena over some more before getting a 2 count. Kane with another headlock on the mat. Cena powers to his feet out of the hold and runs the ropes but Kane catches him with a big sideslam and another 2 count. Kane calls for the chokeslam but Cena ducks it and drops him with the former FU. Cena tries to make a tag and in comes Rey as Jericho comes in also. They go at it with Rey taking him down with a hurrancanrana and then the big bulldog for a 2 count.
Rey dumps Jericho in the corner and tags launches Kofi into Jericho. Mysterio tries a move on Knox but gets thrown to the floor. Kofi and Jericho go at it until Kofi tries a kick off the turnbuckle. Jericho catches him in mid-air with a Codebreaker to get the pinfall and the win.

– Backstage we see Stephanie McMahon talking on the phone. She says to them she knows what she’s doing. Someone says don’t provoke Randy Orton and she says she’s not. Steph says she doesn’t trust Randy Orton and if he comes back there, security isn’t far away. She promises whoever is on the phone she will be careful and can handle herself. She says everyone has a lot going on this week and says goodbye. Triple H maybe? We go back to commercial.
Shawn Michaels vs. Mark Henry
Back from commercial and we see a replay of what happened with HBK and JBL on last week’s RAW. Shawn Michaels comes out first for the next singles match for tonight. HBK gets a better pop than he has been getting from the fans and uses his own theme music this time. Mark Henry is out next with Tony Atlas right beside him. JBL’s music hits and out he comes down to ringside for the match. Before the bell rings, HBK attacks Henry and the ref separates them. The bell rings and HBK attacks him again. Henry slams HBK on the mat.
HBK continues to brawl with Henry, going to the floor. A chair is thrown in the ring and Atlas distracts the referee. Henry and HBK make their way back in the ring. Henry ends up with the chair in his hands and HBK super kicks the chair into Henry. The ref calls for the bell. Lilian Garcia goes to announce Mark Henry as the winner by DQ when JBL takes the mic from her.
Winner by DQ: Mark Henry
JBL gets in the ring with the mic and says if he brings a DQ to their match at No Way Out, then he still loses everything that’s at stake with the stipulation. JBL tells him he will own him after their match and HBK starts getting a little hype. JBL tells him to bring his wife to the match so she can witness what a broken, beaten old man her husband is. JBL keeps putting HBK down and says he will be the loser. JBL says he will win and goes to exit the ring. He stops at the steps and says speaking of his wife, in his office there will always be a place for a beautiful & talented lady. JBL heads to the back as HBK looks on from the ring.
Intercontinental Title Match: CM Punk vs. William Regal
Back from a commercial break and we’re ready for the Intercontinental Title rematch. Regal hits Punk with a knee to the head to start the match and dazes him. Punk eventually fights back with a bunch of big boots and scoops Regal early on for the GTS. Regal slides out of it and overpowers Punk to the mat for a 2 count.
Punk fights to his feet and tries to roll Regal up but gets a nasty headbutt. Regal starts hitting Punk in the face with elbows for another 2 count. Regal nails a big overhead suplex and stomps on Punk some more. Regal waits on Punk to get up but misses the running knee as Punk kicks him in the head. Punk nails the GTS on Regal to get the pinfall and the win.
Winner: CM Punk
– We go to another highlight package, this time for WrestleMania 13 in Chicago, IL with The Rock’s first WrestleMania defending his IC Title against The Sultan, The Undertaker vs. Sid and the classic Stone Cold vs. Bret Hart Submission match. We go back to commercial.
– WWE shows us a video package of Mickey Rourke winning the award for Best Actor at the Orange Awards over in England this weekend.
– We get more video packages showing clips of The Legacy and McMahons. Randy Orton is shown backstage walking to the ring for the main event against The Undertaker tonight. We go back to commercial.
Randy Orton vs. The Undertaker
Back from commercial and Randy Orton makes his way to the ring for tonight’s main event. Stephanie is shown backstage watching on the TV. Orton waits as the bell tolls and The Undertaker makes his grand entrance to the RAW ring.
The bell rings and we get ready to go. They trade blows in the middle of the ring with Orton backing Taker into the corner. Taker throws Orton in the corner and hits him with punches then drops him on the mat. Taker clotheslines Orton to the floor over the top and goes after him. Orton kicks Taker and slams him into the barrier. Orton gets in the ring and tries to get Taker on the apron but gets dropped on the ropes. Taker throws Orton off the ropes but Randy rolls to the floor. Taker meets him on the outside with a big clothesline. We go to commercial.
Back from commercial and Taker is in control but Orton drops him off the ropes and gets a 2 count. Orton starts stomping on Taker’s limbs. Taker powers out of a hold by Orton and knocks him down. Orton hits a big right hand and Taker comes back with one. They trade rights in the middle of the ring now. Orton hits a big uppercut but Taker comes right back and hits a big splash in the corner.
Taker hits the Snake Eyes on Orton, drops a big leg drop and gets a 2 count. Taker scoops Orton for a Tombstone when Rhodes and DiBiase rush the ring. Legacy beat down The Undertaker and stomp him in the corner as the ref calls for the bell. Shane McMahon eventually makes the save and attacks Legacy. Taker chokeslams Cody. Orton scrambles up the ramp as Shane dukes it out with DiBiase. Taker hits the chokeslam on Ted. Ted is propped on the bottom turnbuckle as Shane gets a trash can from under the ring.
Orton watches from the ramp in shock as Shane leaps from the other side of the ring with his signature move, driving the trash can into DiBiase. Shane gets up and taunts Orton as his music hits and we go to replays. RAW goes off the air with Orton and Shane staring each other down.
