- Sting has been rehabbing his knee in between TV tapings and did not let anyone in TNA know he was injured until a day or two before the Genesis pay-per-view, where they had to change the show and throw in the Rhino injury storyline as a way to get them out of doing a hard match and also change the iMPACT tapings so Sting wouldn’t have to do much physically.

- TNA Knockouts Champion Awesome Kong is suffering from a bad back and also likely needs knee surgery. TNA is hoping that Kong will be able to wrestle at the next set of iMPACT tapings.

- Many people from TNA are headed to the February 7th UFC show in Tampa, FL, which is the night before Against All Odds.

- Kurt Angle was mad at Giant Bernard for power bombing him too quickly after the finish of the six-man tag match at the Tokyo Dome earlier this month. They had to shoot the angle for the Sumo Hall match in Japan but at the same time had to give enough time after the match before the power bomb because the match is airing as a TV main event on iMPACT and it will probably be hard not to air the power bomb with an abrupt jump cut. TNA has no interest in showing something that puts Bernard over Angle so the power bomb most likely will not be shown on TNA TV.
