Samoa Joe Update, Another TNA Star Injured, Nash, More

– As reported yesterday, Kevin Nash has a staph infection in the elbow and was hospitalized as a result. In an update on the situation, he is undergoing elbow surgery today. No word yet on how long he’ll be out.

– Robert Roode suffered an ankle injury during the three-way tag title match at last night’s pay-per-view. No word yet on how long he will be out of action. Roode & partner James Storm regained the TNA World Tag Team Championships from Consequences Creed & Jay Lethal at last night’s show.

– Samoa Joe and Bubba Ray Dudley are still working injury angles, but both are expected back soon. Joe was actually brought back at the last Impact taping, but TNA officials changed their minds and didn’t air the segment.

– As reported over the weekend, Christy Hemme has two herniated discs in her neck, but is looking to avoid surgery and go for a different procedure. However, the announcers said she would be undergoing surgery during last night’s pay-per-view.
